I had a fantastic experience using London Cargo for my international shipments. Their team is extremely professional, clear, and helpful from start to finish. They carefully explained all shipping procedures, customs requirements, and restricted items beforehand, which made the whole process completely hassle-free.

First and last time using London Cargo – absolute nightmare

This was my first time using London Cargo, and unfortunately, it has been an absolute nightmare.

My parcel was collected on 27 July, and I was clearly told it would reach Sri Lanka within two weeks. I paid the invoice in full on 2 August. It has now been a month, and the tracking is still showing that my parcel is at Sri Lankan Customs.

The parcel contains food items, which by now have most likely perished because of this ridiculous delay.

What makes the whole experience even worse is the terrible customer service. They rarely respond to messages, and when I finally managed to get an answer, they simply washed their hands of the situation and told me to contact the Sri Lankan office. I paid London Cargo for the service, so I shouldn't have to chase different offices trying to find out where my parcel is.

I have sent many parcels to Sri Lanka using other companies and they have always arrived within the agreed timeframe. This is the first time I have used London Cargo, and definitely the last.

Extremely poor communication, no proper customer care and no accountability when something goes wrong.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend London Cargo.

These guys are not a reliable company. They charge arbitrary amounts as “tax” without providing any invoice to prove it. If you’re planning to use their service, I would strongly advise against it and save yourself the trouble.

They charged me 12,000 tax for something I bought for 7,500 ( used item as well, btw ), and I also faced issues with damaged items and missing food packages. When I complained, they simply told me not to use their service again and took no responsibility for their mistakes.
