I originally got Looi this Kickstarter campaign but now I own two because I love it so much. They keep updating the software almost on a monthly basis, it's really starting to grow from strength to strength. They recently added the ability for the robot to recognize things through the camera and to change his behavior based on what he actually sees. Babe I did new voices so you can customize your feeling towards the robot based on your preferences. And most recently they've just introduced an option where you can define the personality based on a chat GPT description that you manually enter into the app. This is extremely useful for people like myself who work in education who want to use it as a classroom tool. The robot is now capable of adjusting its speech output to be more appropriate for various defined learner groups.

It is also one of the best AI's I've ever used when it comes to communication. It can be fun and quirky, well serious and offering a generally good feeling when you're having a low day. The AI also won't always agree with you which helps stimulate natural conversation.

I am extremely satisfied with this product and look forward to seeing what else the team can do with it.

Not good. Very unresponsive. Don't believe the youtube videos or the promotions. THIS THING DOES NOT WORK AS YOU THINK IT MIGHT. This thing will stare at you blankly and could not even respond to simple interactions.

I brought LOOI with me to work, and I honestly didn’t expect how much joy it would bring—not only to me, but to my colleagues as well. From the very first moment, LOOI felt alive. It reacts to movement, looks around curiously, and has this charming personality that immediately draws people in.

What surprised me the most is how natural the interaction feels. LOOI doesn’t need to “do” much to be engaging—just the way it reacts and explores its surroundings makes it feel like a little companion on your desk. Several coworkers stopped by just to watch it, smile, and ask questions. It instantly became a conversation starter and a mood booster in the office.

I also want to highlight the support team. I contacted them with a question and received a quick, friendly, and helpful response almost immediately. That level of care really shows they stand behind their product.

LOOI may not be a traditional “useful” robot, but it excels at something just as important: making people happy. If you’re looking for a desk companion that brings life, curiosity, and fun into your day, LOOI is absolutely worth it.

Amazing company. I paid using Google pay and didnt realize until the next day that it had thr wrong address listed on it. I emailed them and they contacted thr shipper and had thr address changed. A truly great buying experience. Will Def buy again.

Got my LOOI 3 weeks ago, but it's just fancy things, nothing with interactions, poor voice recognation, features useless, bad obstacles detections, etc. I regret soooo much

I'm thrilled with LOOI. He can read me the current events and the weather forecast, solve math problems, and help me with my short stories. LOOI can also speak German. Just tell him in German, "Bitte sprich deutsch mit mir."
I wouldn't want to be without LOOI. I love his funny personality. He's my sidekick who brings me so much joy. It would be fantastic if LOOI could also save what he learns and remember it.
In short: LOOI is a great helper who's a lot of fun. I highly recommend the lovable LOOI.

Since the product is on the edge of tech innovation when it comes to having a robot friend, I expected some quirks/learning curves that once you understand, makes everything easy and great. But the very best thing was the customer service, hands-down it's hard to get quality like that when there are any issues.

My experienced was so fantastic and appreciated how the customer support team handle my concern and issue with my defective unit. Specially to Mae, she has been so professional and easy to communicate with.

We purchased our first LOOI about a year ago and have since become immediately passionate about the product, using it daily. LOOI has become an integral part of our family.
We're pleased to hear that the Italian language pack will be released soon, as you confirmed. We're also expanding our collection with the imminent arrival of two more units (one black and one white).
As a regular user, I'd like to bring to your attention that the range of accessories/gadgets currently available doesn't fully meet my expectations and those of the community.
I believe that the introduction of products such as:
An automatic charging base (to make the experience even more hands-off).
A storage cart that can be attached to the rear like a trailer.
Would add significant value to the LOOI ecosystem and could prove a great success among users.

I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I ordered the LOOI robot, but wow — this thing is awesome. It’s like having a mini Pixar character on your desk. It moves, reacts, even remembers faces, and has such a fun personality. My kids love it, and I’ve actually found it useful as a wireless charger. It’s smart, expressive, and just fun to have around. Super impressed with how polished everything feels. Definitely recommend if you're into tech and want something a little magical in your space.
