I had the pleasure of speaking to Dean in the paper gift card customer service department today (as opposed to a digital card of flex cash card) and he was amazing.
He was very understanding of my predicament- my cards had expired because I was given them as a gift quite late after they had been activated in store. I thought I was going to have to throw them away and thought I’d give it a go talking to one of the team. I’m so glad I did.
Dean is a credit to the company and has restored my faith in customer service assistants!

If I could give no stars I would . Both myself and Grandson have wasted so much time with love 2 shop backwards and Forwards . I purchased a £10 voucher for Easter for my Grandson to treat himself to an egg . He duly took it to B&M they tried it on several tills it crashed the tills he tried another B@M same again . I contacted Love to shop not there problem . My agreement was with them I’ve asked them to refund they’ve refused to do so said it’s B@M . However my contract isn’t with B@M it’s with love to shop the voucher I purchased from them isn’t accepted at B@ M and never has been . Contacted B@M head office whom said there’s lots of issues with love to shop at moment . Spoke to head office love to shop they deny any liability I’ve asked for a refund but refused . So I have a e voucher which has £10 on but isn’t valid and can’t spend so ultimately wasted £10 :(

Site has updated but now have to create a new account, as it is associated with an old work email I cannot reset or create an account as the email is supposedly in use. Live chat on the site disconnects you all the time.

Essentially, considering I worked here, this company is a scam. They rely on an antiquated, broken system to be so difficult to use that your gift cards expire and they get to keep your money. It's called "breakage" and all these gift cards scam operations rely on it to keep their lights on. Just avoid.

complete rip-off, I had a Love2shop gift card £30 that recently expired, and when I contacted customer service, they refused to replace or extend it.

I exchanged two Love2Shop gift cards online for two Decathlon e-Gift cards on the 20th April.

The e-Gift cards should have been delivered to my email address within 24hrs, however 2 days later I am still waiting.

I have attempted to communicate through their live chat, only to have their bot cut me off. I have tried filling in the online form, but any time I do it just comes up with "something went wrong, try again later".

I want my e-Gift cards Love2Shop, it shouldn't be difficult to send an email with a code on it!

Honestly I feel like I have been ripped off…£30 love 2 shop voucher and turned it into Primark for a little give for someone and to get to the tills for it not to work..reported it 6 days ago and nothing has been done…all you get is we’re waiting for a response! It’s not just £5 it’s £30 quid ya holding and in this day and age it’s a lot to lose.Sort it out please!!!

Norma responded to my email very quickly and asked for details to help proceed with my query.

Once I provided the details she quickly provided a solution which meant I was able to access my gift card again (I had accidentally sent it to an invalid email address).

I was really happy with the resolution and Norma was polite and friendly, thank you again for your help.

Awful! Website is not fit for purpose. Trying to exchange a love to shop voucher for a Boots voucher is impossible. Internal server error, no chat option. Have advised family and friends not to purchase as gifts. Would NEVER use this method again.

Changed up a £25 gift card to an e voucher to spend at Zizzi restaurant in Norwich, I went to pay the bill and they don’t accept Love2shop vouchers! This is all Zizzi restaurants so what am I supposed to do? Why did your site allow me to change it for Zizzi if they don’t accept them? When I looked back on Love2shop where to spend list Zizzi isn’t on the list anymore, so why when I clicked on the restaurant part of Love2shop website it allowed me to convert to Zizzi? It doesn’t make sense! It really shouldn’t be so confusing,

This is the second time I have received Love2shop gift card. First time from a relatives. I told them not to give me such gift card. This time is from a friend. The amount is for £50. It is so troublesome to activate the card before you can use it! I have to register to activate it. Put in my personal information, like my birth date, which I have to select from the given calendar, the year and the month! It took me a long time to get to my birth date! Then wait for the pass code via email, and if I am not quick enough, the code expires, then I have to request for another pass code to come in via email, then key in the long number in the card and the security code. Then the message told that it doesn't recognise the card type as it is a physical card, click the link for the physical card, then the message - an error occurred while accessing the request resource!
Why can't it be a simply gift card - just take the card to the store and use it!

Got a reply from Love2 shop and advised me to phone the number to get help. I have to key in the 19 digits on the card, then the pin number! There is no pin number but the 3 digit security code on the card, which I have keyed in. Then it hanged up because I don't have the pin number. Tried to download the app, but it is no longer available but to ask to go to the website to activate the card. Still doesn't work! How am I going to use the £50 on the card? Also, I got the card on 18/4 but the expire date on the card is 27/4! not year mentioned! And there is no way to replay to the person who replied to my review in Trust Pilot!

Don't bother getting Love to shop gift card to anyone, it's an utter nightmare. You can't use it without activation online process meaning giving your
Full name, DOB, email, phone number and home address. Without it the card is useless.

£110 of vouchers had become stuck at the back of a drawer, so passed expired date, contact company only to be told basically tough luck we don't refund or replace out of date vouchers, so they have just had £110 for nothing!!

Do NOT buy Love2shop gift cards. Firstly, you can't activate the card following the instructions on the back on the card.
And secondly, if you go to the website and register, they keep sending you passcodes that don't work. This was a gift from a friend and I wouldn't want to embarrass her.
Either this company relies on people giving up and not spending their balances or they are highly unprofessional.

Very helpful advisors helped me use my e gift cards

Received x3 cards for £10. Put all the information requested in and they came up with an error message: "contact the card provider".

I filled out an online form for help but have not received any support. It's annoying as I've wasted time clearing cookies, trying different browsers, contacting the company that gave me them (who say everything is fine their end). Useless!

we bought 6 cards and put £10 on each of them. 2 weeks later and 4 of the cards have £0 balance on them. Customer Service doesn't seem to exist. What a pain
- Love2shop have now replied, so let's see hos they remedy this. Fingers crossed....

Absolute joke.
Do not buy these gift cards for your friends or family, they are a total waste of time and money. The cards are nigh on impossible to register, you add your details then they send a one time pass code to your email address, this takes nearly the 2 minutes or so that the timer runs to resend a new code, then when it comes through just before the timer runs out and you put the code in, that’s only 6 numbers it says invalid code please try again, and then when you put it in a couple of time it says too many attempts and gets you to have a new code sent, that also doesn’t work. Total waste of time. Just give people the money as that can be used anywhere very easily, these companies just want you to get fed up so you don’t spend the money and then they get your money for absolutely nothing.
