When I met the Low Stress Options program, I really did not know much about options other than there is such a thing and it is risky as hell. Most guys trying to be smart about it lost their money. That was basically all I knew.
But I was intrigued, so I signed up and looked into it. Honestly, I was skeptical, suspicious even as their claims really sounded too good to be true and I had got burned with some shiny projects before.

So I started learning this methodology of trading options and gave it a go.

As a complete newbie to this world, I did not expect great success or making a ton of money in a week. And I didn't.
But step by step, I learned the ropes, got used to how it works and started loving it. I mean, who wouldn't love making decent money doing a few hours of work a week?

And these days (November 2025) give the best experience for me.
The market took a steep downturn and this is typically the time when traditional investors start pulling their hair out.
But not me.
I have learned from the training here what I should do and it is working. The community is a great advantage and I can get all the support I need to navigate these murky waters (oh the poet in me ;). Takes a little more time than usual but it still brings in decent money - so much so that I am turning to trading from my normal work.

I think, after so many career changes, at the young age of 60, I am where I like to be in life.

Low Stress Trading teaches how to sell puts and, if assigned, covered calls. It’s not a new concept, but if you’re brand new to options, this program lays out a conservative way to approach the strategy. The program is $1,000 to join, which includes your first month, and then it’s $100/month to stay in the community and attend the support calls.

I’m glad I learned the core framework in one place without having to piece it together myself — but once you understand the basics, the value drops off quickly. Staying longer means sitting through a lot of noise that doesn’t actually help you improve. For me, the downsides eventually outweighed the benefits. Here’s what I ran into:

TIME WASTERS

1. The weekly calls don’t deliver much useful instruction.

The calls are dominated by personal stories that don’t advance the lesson and long critiques of member behavior instead of useful instruction. They run long, repeat the same points, and are delivered in a tone that talks down to adults who came to learn.

2. There’s regular political commentary.

Politics is injected into nearly every call and presented as the “correct” worldview rather than a neutral discussion on how policy affects the market. These soapbox moments waste the time we’re paying to learn.

QUESTIONABLE STANDARDS

1. The upsells are constant and manipulative.

Every call includes a pitch for additional paid courses. They’re presented as optional, but implied to be necessary for better results. Which means this isn’t a one-time educational program - it’s an ongoing monetization model.

2. Owner constantly refers to himself as “military” and a “nuclear engineer” to establish authority.

The Owner references both roles often to establish authority. However, based on his published timeline, it’s unclear how either role fit in a substantial way, which suggests both were brief. For those of us with military backgrounds, the repeated emphasis is disingenuous — and raised, for me, questions about credibility.

EXPECTATIONS

1. The community dynamic is peculiar.

There’s a clear expectation to affirm the owner. One moment that stood-out was when he publicly called out a member for not wishing him well before his (owner’s) heart surgery — meaning the owner reviewed messages and compared them against 2,000+ members to see who didn’t respond.
This is just one example, but it makes clear that participation in the community isn’t just about learning — you’re expected to affirm and elevate the owner as part of being there.

Bottom Line

The trading framework is solid and can be learned quickly. Once you understand it, you don’t need to stay. The ongoing environment adds more distraction than value.

It’s hard to capture in just a few words how truly life-changing this program is. Low Stress Trading isn’t just about learning an incredibly solid investing framework but about gaining the power to transform the financial trajectory of your family, your future generations, and even your community if you choose to.

Coming from a finance background, I’ll admit I was skeptical at first. I had to unlearn a lot of misinformation and industry brainwashing before I could fully accept that what they teach here isn’t “too good to be true.” In fact, it’s rooted in some of the most conservative, time-tested principles of investing. Once you see how it all fits together, you realize how brilliantly logical and grounded this framework truly is.

But beyond the strategy and skill, what makes this program extraordinary is the hope it reignites. In a world that often feels chaotic and out of control, Low Stress Trading restores a sense of possibility. I was concernd that this sounded too good to be true, but I watched the training courses, and gradually started trading. The framework has performed sucessfully, with a little more income every week, with average just over 1% weekly on my investments. Troy and John are very helpful and responsive to questions, as are the rest of the crew: Lindsay, Jenny, and Jacob.

I, like many others, learned about LST from Tom Woods, whom I have followed for many years. The truth is I joined LST based on his recommendation, because the LST goal of earning 1% per week seemed too good to be true -- and I've learned through hard personal experience such things are nearly always to be avoided.

Not so with LST. Joining LST has been My Best Darn Decision In The Past 20 Years. Period. Full stop. I've spent more money on various investment products and services over the years than I care to remember (it's painful to think about), with little to show for it outside of untold hours of wasted time, lots of anxiety/stress, and mediocre to downright awful results.

First, the goal of 1% per week does sound too good to be true. I get it. My own experience shows it's real, however. And it is pretty low stress. And it really doesn't take much time to manage. Second, the courses are effective at delivering the information -- and only the information -- needed to apply the LST framework. They've purposely kept out all the esoteric concepts and information not needed to understand and apply the this framework. So learning it is quite manageable, even for a newbie in my opinion. Lastly, the LST team is terrific to interact with. The leaders, John and Troy, are effective and interesting teachers, and they know their stuff. They are yin and yang to one another in their personalities and teaching styles. My dealings with the rest of the team have been first rate, too. Lindsey, Jenny, Alice and Lance, are responsive, knowledgeable, and engaged.

I couldn't be more satisfied with LST.

The training is excellent and profitable. The instructors are also very friendly, knowledgeable, accessible, and very interested in our success.

This is truly the best options training curriculum I have encountered. The strategies are laid out in a thorough, clear, and systematic manner which builds a solid foundation for anyone's investment journey. You not only learn how to fish, but also how to work within the market given any condition and still be able to generate weekly cash flow while maintaining a relatively low degree of risk.

Like everything, there is a steep learning curve, but with implementation and repetition, the framework becomes second nature. The weekly group calls, which offer market updates and where questions are answered, are also extremely helpful. There is also a screener tool and tracker which are very nice add-ons.

The only significant negative is their Vegas-style retention strategy; if you wish to unsubscribe from the monthly group calls ($100/mo) you lose access to all materials and courses you already paid for (which of course, are additional to the $100/mo).

Trusted referral has moved up my retirement 7 yrs. LSO delivers what I couldn't figure out in previous trading - a low time-commitment method for consistent profits. Founders Troy (strat inventor) & John (strat exemplar) directly available for guidance. Community platform and tools (maintained by accessible developer, Jacob) ease monitoring of opportunities and progress & help from founder to accomplished traders (including co-founder, Lindsay & student advocate, Jenny). I took it serious, followed instructions, recovered course cost <3mo, have a believable, earlier retirement date.

Let me be perfectly clear: discovering Low Stress Trading has been nothing short of a financial revelation. Perhaps the most unexpected and beautiful aspect of Low Stress Trading is its community. And, at the heart of it all, are Troy and John. Their dedication is awe-inspiring. Troy himself is a force of nature: friendly, genuinely funny, and driven by an authentic, palpable concern for every single member's success. His passion is infectious and his framework is nothing less than brilliant. My understanding is that he is continuing to work through a triple bypass surgery (a triple bypass surgery!!!)- in fact, I know this to be true, as I received just today (early September) an mail from him- encouraging (admonishing?) his subscribers to get their financial affairs in order for the good of their families and loved ones.
Troy often talks about his time in the Navy working on a nuclear submarine- and it shows! He brings the same level of engineering to the framework; he delivers the same level of disciple that he surely had in the Navy; and he conducts himself with the same level of commitment and genuine concern for others that he has so clearly had all his life.
But, the proof, as they say, is in the pudding. Like the vast majority of the LST community, I was astounded to see that I had recouped my entire initial investment in just a few short weeks. This isn't merely profitable; it's profitability accelerated by a framework that delivers tangible, life-altering results with stunning efficiency.
I am eternally grateful to have found this platform through Tom Woods and I cannot overstate my gratitude to Troy for creating this masterpiece. Low Stress Trading isn't just one of the best platforms I've ever seen—it is, without a doubt, one of the best financial decisions I have ever made.

The whole team works to give everyone a great learning experience. In addition to the hours of training provided, I have enjoyed joining the live calls from Troy, John, Lindsay, and Jenny. The weekly calls are recorded and watchable on the platform. It helps to feel confident in strategies with the years of documentation provided.

I found out about LSO from Tom Woods. If it weren't for his recommendation I would have assumed this was too good to be true. The training is a bit difficult at first, but after going through the core training videos 2 or 3 times, I had the basics down. Once you get it it's actually pretty simple. The hardest part for me was learning how to set up and use the trading platform (IBKR for those of us outside the US.)

After trading for only a month, I made back the initial sign up fee. Since then I have been getting a bit more than 1% per week ROI. The amount LSO charges is really negligible compared to the earning potential of the system.

The best part is the ongoing guidance and support you get from the community and the LSO team, Troy, John, Lindsay, Jacob, and Jenny.

Elite financial tools run by high end professionals that regular people rarely get the chance at. Phenomenal education that has allowed me to deliver results as described by their sales page, without needing a ton of prior experience or huge account to play with. Hands down my favorite business of any type out there that I am working with right now, couldn't be happier and continue to add their additional trainings. The training gets updated slightly over time so just take your time, learn the material until you are confident, and just grow slow and steady would be my advice. Definitely recommended it to my close friends and family.

A podcaster to whom I've listened for many years, Tom Woods, told his listeners about LST. I spent a week evaluating the program via daily, educational Zoom calls. I joined in late-June of 2025, and have never regretted it. I am following the framework and earning 1% per week on my money. I can't recommend this enough to anybody who's interested in active management of their investments with a relatively small amount of work. Troy, John, Lindsay, and Jenny are all fantastic; each provide their own unique style of coaching.

I've been wandering in the investing wilderness for ~40 years aimlessly moving forward with no real plan for realizing gains, but now that I've found LSO I feel a sense of fulfillment and hope that I've now found a true guiding principle for trading which has given me a purposeful direction.

I didn't think the 1% a week was real. But the cost was minimal compared to the potential returns and it was a recommended by a reputable person. I thought, why not try it.

Troy and John provide great training and guidance/mentorship. The team (Lindsey, Jacob, Jenny and more) they have built up are all very helpful and friendly. There is a great community that provides support and encouragement.

After 8 weeks, I have been averaging over 1% weekly on a small account. Once I learned the framework, I could see conceptually how it works but still didn’t really believe. As gain experience, the “ah-ha” moments keep coming as I see the different scenarios play out.
