No compassion
My son became unwell overnight before his course the following day. He emailed them that he couldn’t attend due to illness & they wouldn’t allow him to rebook without paying for the course again. I think the system is very unfair.

Easy to book and coordinate. The drivers are a bit of hit and miss though. Laval was excellent. Cannot recommend him highly enough. On the other hand, my daughter took one lesson with Vispy which was perhaps the worst ever.
I had a really good experience with LTrent. My instructor was patient and made every lesson feel relaxed but still focused. I learned a lot each time and actually felt confident by the time I went for my test. Booking lessons was pretty easy too. Overall, I’d definitely recommend LTrent to anyone who wants proper driving lessons and real confidence on the road.
The professionalism was something that made my trust in Ltrent, the way the instructors are preper and want to hear your feeling. I had Mat Cooper who was so patient and showed that he new what he was saying.
I passed my driving test on the first try thanks to LTrent Driving School! The instructors are highly professional and knowledgeable, and provide excellent advice not only for passing the driving test, but also for being safe drivers.
A wonderful learn to drive experience with my LTrent instructor. Picked up and dropped off from home each time. Wonderful, easy to understand instruction on the fundamentals. Highly recommend.
I did the majority of my 120 logbook hours with LTrent and it was an incredible experience. When I first started to learnt how to drive, I was nervous just to get behind the wheel. But right from the start, my instructor Rob made sure it was a comfortable learning experience for me.
Going through all of the handbook topics equipped me with skills not just to help me get test-ready but equipped me with the skills needed to be safe on the roads in Sydney. By the time I was booked in for my test, I felt confident and comfortable to drive.
I would highly recommend LTrent to anyone!
I booked 3 lessons in advance with an instructor and today was meant to be the first one and he told me to be at the usual place for the lessons and he dosent show up to it even tho he messages me saying it's gonna be there and then procceds to write to me to find aa new instructor because i wasnt there half an hour later then the time that we agreed on i just advise to everyone to stay away from these instructors very unproffesional and rude and incompetent
We booked 4 lessons approx 3 months ahead, for the month before my son was due to go for his driving test, as we wanted an instructor that taught in a manual. My son also has a very heavy schedule and only had specific dates available So 3 months on we are sitting at the meeting point and no instructor..... we waited 20 mins past the booked time which was 4pm. I then checked my emails and saw that an email had been sent to me 10 mins before the booked time, advising that all the lessons had been cancelled. We travelled over an hours to get there.
I then rang the office and was told that they could not provide another instructor that could teach in a manual vehicle. They advised me that the instructors car was at the mechanics and would be available on 21st March......... my sons test is booked for the 25th March, so not a lot of use to us. I asked if the instructor could do the lessons in my car, which was declined.
The gave me other dates that were available with another instructor (keeping in mind that we are now 3 weeks out from his test) but only in an auto. We had to reschedule my sons tutoring and training sessions and I had to take time off work to fit in with these new dates. The admin area of LTrent was also unable to get the bookings locked in and it was obvious that they didn't completely read my emails as only half the bookings were made and the other half were ignored. There is a 2 day turn around to receive responses via email. Eventually I just rang the office and locked in the dates.
Anyway, the first lesson as booked in for 4pm. The new instructor asked me if my son wanted to use my car for the lesson (a manual) or his car, my son chose to use my car as he was familiar with it and it was a manual. When the instructor started the lesson, he asked my son what he wanted to learn....... really, I would have thought that there was some sort of lesson plan (the instructor kindly let me sit in the back seat so I hear it myself). The new instructor was 5 mins late and didn't make up the time at the end of the lesson. The second lesson he was again 5 mins late, without extending the lesson. The third lesson when he was 5 mins late, we had come to expect it, after 10 mins I rang the office. After being on hold for 10 mins (still no instructor in sight) my call was answered. Side note, we are now 4 days away from my son's test........
I was on the phone for 10 more mins and the young lady that was helping me was trying to contact the instructor, without success. She wanted to extend our last lesson to 2 hours to make up for this no show lesson.
I told her that I had lost total faith in LTrent as a company and that I have been more than accommodating, as I wanted my son to be fully prepared for his test and at this late stage I would not be able to book in anywhere else, however I explained that I was not going to leave it to chance that the 2 hours lesson (the evening before his test) would go smoothly, and that I wanted a full refund of the "instructor no show" lesson and the last one that was booked. She tried to talk me out of it, but I demanded a refund.
It has now been 2 hours since the no show and I still have not even received an explanation from the instructor.
I am still at the calm polite stage, however if I have to fight (even just a little) for my refund, hell will be unleashed.
I chose LTrent for their name and reputation, however with such ongoing unprofessional behaviour from 2 of their instructors, my advise to all my sons friends, and anyone else that wants to listen, to stay away.
