Think twice before ordering online
I would strongly caution against ordering from this company online unless you are absolutely certain you want to keep what you’re buying.
Their return policy is extremely restrictive and, in my opinion, unfair to customers. If you open a product (even just to smell the fragrance like I did) you only receive a 50% refund. Fragrance is a product that often needs to be tested, so penalizing customers for simply opening the package feels unreasonable.
On top of that, you’re responsible for return shipping! Meanwhile, the company retains the returned item, which may still have resale value. From a customer perspective, this creates a situation where all the risk is placed on the buyer, while the company faces little to no downside.
A fair return policy should strike a balance between protecting the business and treating customers reasonably, which this company does not adhere to.
Charge I didn’t make
Charged my credit card for an order I didn’t make which was manually entered. As my cc notated. They’ve yet to refund it. I’m going to have to file with my cc and file an FTC complaint.
Great store, gave me free gifts with order
I recently ordered essential parfums bois imperial from this company. The shipping and delivery was very fast considering many companies like this take weeks to ship. They have an option to get three free samples when you buy a fragrance and they let you request which ones you want. I got two of the three that i requested because one must have been out of stock. But it was replaced with another sample and they decided to throw in an extra free samples, giving me four free samples. Overall my experience with luckyscent was amazing and I will buy from them again.
Almost 2 Months - No Order!
Placed an order on 11/28/25 during the Black Friday sale. At the time I was informed that my item was backordered and would ship in 14 days. That wasn't going to be a problem for me because it wasn't a Christmas present or anything. Almost 2 months goes by and I don't hear a peep from them. I checked on the status of my request online and it didn't show up in their system. I sent them an email and they finally informed me that there was a production delay and asked me if I wanted a refund. Hell yeah, I want a refund!
Sealed outer box. Interior box bad shape.
BDK Perfume arrived sealed in cellophane as it should, opened, exterior box perfect, but there was no tab to pull out the interior box….strike1, I pulled the interior box out with my finger, interior box is ripped down a corner and beat up where the perfume sits, strike 2. Seems like a legit bottle, smells right.….but the packaging makes no sense. I have to wonder if they resealed a returned bottle and sent out as new?? Which makes me wonder if it’s safe.
Would it come from Bdk like this?? Idk.

I ordered samples to put into a holiday gift. They waited 8 days to package this order. And now the product won't make it for holiday and will cost me 3x's to ship to the different people for whom it was intended. Ridiculous. I love scents and I frequent Scent Bar but this is terrible customer service.

I’ve always been able to find legit niche fragrances and had wonderful service. Thank god for the samples because while they’re in dabbed vials (same as getting it from a department store) there is plenty fragrance inside to wear multiple times and see if it’s the right scent for me.
I ordered hip-hop by Zernelle Gillie
I ordered hip-hop by Zernelle Gillie. I did receive it and it actually is R&B. I have R&B and it smells exactly like it. It is the wrong juice in the right bottle. I have contacted Luckyscent and they told me to send it back. The person who was in contact with was a little rude. I wish there was a way I could get all my money back and just order from a different place but unfortunately I’m stuck. Won’t happen again I won’t be ordering from them again. I think they need to work on their customer service. This is the first time that this is happened to me and I have over 500 fragrances. The fact that they don’t even offer to send a new one and I’ll send the old one back doesn’t make sense but whatever. I won’t be ordering from them again.

Extremely disappointed with my…
Extremely disappointed with my experience with LuckyScent, and that's an understatement. I placed an international order on 22nd October. There was tracking until 27th October and then nothing.
I chased to see what was going on, and got a couple of replies, stating that international orders can take three-to-four weeks. Four weeks passed, and there was still no further tracking update since 27th October! So I reached out by email several times, but no longer got replies. I DMed them on Instagram, they replied (very bluntly) after about four days giving me another email address to try. I emailed that address, and have not received a reply!
It's getting on for six weeks since I placed my order, so shipping is insanely slow, and I've since read that they come in 'dabber' form without atomizers, and yeah, I never saw that disclosed anywhere when I ordered.
The tracking has since updated. It's gone from Bell Gardens (where it started on the 22nd October), it was then 'moving through the network' on 27th October. Over four weeks passed, it was then 'held for mailability determination' before arriving in Phoenix, and now, 29th November, it's apparently back in Bell Gardens! If I'm waiting much longer without any communication or explanation, I'll be opening a case through PayPal.
A very bad experience, and they've now had my money for almost six weeks with no products delivered. Avoid!
Awful customer service
First, this fragrance retailer is significantly overpriced for an online vendor. I am genuinely surprised that the business remains competitive given its price points, especially when compared to other reputable sites such as VENBA, Jomashop, or Maxaroma. Unfortunately, only inexperienced first-time customers are likely to purchase from this vendor without realizing the price discrepancies.
Second, after noticing that the JOVOY fragrance I purchased was nearly double the price offered on other websites, I decided to return it. The refund process, however, was unnecessarily difficult. It required multiple emails, and the company ultimately claimed that the box had been opened and the bottle used—an assertion that raised serious concerns about their trustworthiness and customer service practices.
Overall, I would strongly advise avoiding this vendor in order to protect both your money and your peace of mind.
UK customer ordered Cry baby Perfume
I preordered the Melanie Martinez Crybaby perfume through luckyscent, (which for context it sold out quickly on her own website). It was dispatched within the ETA time on the website and arrived quickly considering it was sent from the USA to the UK. Packaged really well and with website discount was a lot cheaper than Melanie’s website. Thank you so much I’m so happy I finally own a bottle!!

I preordered the Crybaby Milk perfume and the order never shipped. Although I got customer support to cancel the order, I am still disappointed it never was sent out.
They forgot to ship one of the parfume…
The samples are not even sprays, but tiny little vials which are hard to smell. Moreover they forgot to ship one of the parfume samples out of 6. After contacting them I was told that they are going to send a new one (which is going to arrive after another few weeks). No compensation at all whatsoever.

Had a great experience with luckyscent. I received 3 samples and thought one had leaked in transit so I reached out and promptly got a response from Andrea G. They mailed me a replacement no problem. It showed up again and I thought it had leaked in transit again but that's when I realized id ordered an 8 drop sample instead of a 1ml and the original had been exactly what I ordered l! Great customer service and I will continue to use them!

Best sample company in the perfume world!
I love luckyscent and have been buying from them constantly for the last few months and have yet to have a bad experience. The dabbers are the only downside but i just use 3ml atomizer bottles and its so worth it for the amazing GWPs and ive only ever gotten what I requested for the complimentary samples, plus they often throw in an extra here or there too! Great company that i actually want to support! Just because of how lovely theyve been I'm willing to spend a few extra bucks here and pay for shipping bc i want to support their business for how amazing they are. So impressed and hope to continue having great experiences with them :)

I really wish I would’ve read the reviews before I bought samples from them. Tiny vials and they’re dabblers so it’s super hard to really sample the scent when you can’t spray it. They definitely don’t disclose that it’s dabblers and tiny little vials because no one would purchase
