I was bought a luckytail grinder by my daughter as a gift the grinder has stopped charging and won't hold charge also the costumer service is absolutely a ripp off I would advise to choose another brand

The head sits in the mandrel with no retention and slides up and down. There does not seem to be any way to tighten the chuck to hold the diamond head in place. Horrible design. Don't buy it.

I initially had a bad experience - went to an Australian dog grooming site and their link to lucky tail took me to the US site which was not clear so I ended up paying more than I thought as the price was USD not AUD.
But that is not Lucky's fault.
However having placed the order and received a confirmation that it would ship in 2-3 days here I am 9 days later with no information at all

It's sad to read all the bad reviews. I hope the company sort it because it is a great nail grinder. Not noisy. My two dogs aren't 100% comfortable with it but we're getting there. Product is great. Very easy to use. Customer service was great. It wouldn't accept my discount but customer service applied it straight away. No problems here

I tried to place the order online, the website says an error message when you submit the order and makes you think it hasn’t been processed, so you keep trying - they have taken AU$1,084 from my account and the only way to contact them is via email. I’m starting to think this company is dodgy. All the “reviews” on their website are raving. As the saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

Have a feeling I’ve been scammed.
Paid through PayPal and have yet to even receive a confirmation of my order. Wish I’d been smart enough to look at reviews before I ordered

I am beginning to think this site is a scam. I ordered a nail grinder almost two weeks ago. My item has not arrived yet. They sent me no email confirmation of my order, so I have no tracking number. They took the amount £54.99 from my account and have yet to provide me with any goods. I have contacted customer services & currently await their response. I wish I had looked through the reviews. It appears as though the good reviews are not genuine ones and the others have a shared experience of not receiving their item. If you want this product, order through Amazon instead!

Bought a LuckyTail grinder for my dog Teddy few months ago. Was surprised by the quality of the product - from packaging to the device itself.
I just did the second grinding session and it works really well. Teddy is a large mixed-breed dog and enjoys silent and calm grinding process. Extra hard grinding heads come in handy. Recommended!

Perfect nail grinder. This grinder is really quiet especially comparing with other grinders in the market. Have I mentioned it's super quiet? :D LOVE IT!

When working I would give the grinder 5 stars unfortunately the charging wire is not good quality. After maximum of 5 uses the wire is now not working I have always had to position it carefully to allow charge I have emailed lucky tail and will update this when I know how good there customer services are.

Update Adam at customer services always replied to my emails quickly, although I’m still waiting for my replacement wire 3 weeks after my original email, I will update this if and when it arrives.

My new charging wire has arrived thank you Adam for the great customer service.

My dog Flynn always hated having his nails done but now sits quietly allowing me to grind his nails a great device that makes my life a lot easier!

If you look all the 5 stars are 1 review only, highly suspect.

In reality, the company gives no real dispatch details and are dragging their heels on a refund when it fails to be arrive 3 weeks later.

Pursuing a claim with my credit card provider.

Didn't receive my order. Was told I would receive a replacement which was over a week ago. Tracking number has now been saying for 5 more days that sender is dispatching item. Its now been almost a month since a placed my order. Avoid at all costs as it looks like its Chinese on not USA as stated on the website. Opening a dispute with my bank to get money back

I have had the same experience. I have filed a dispute with my bank as well as BBB and the Federal Trade commission. Everyone who has had this experience needs to do the same. Your financial institution will get your money back and the company will be fined.

I researched products on the market and selected the LuckyTail nail grinder despite it being overall more expensive than most on the market because it had the benefit of being cordless, had LED lights and the shape looked like it had been designed to fit the hand nicely.

The cost of the basic grinder was £29.95 and delivery was another £10, so buying a spare grinder head for just under £10 which gave you free delivery seemed a good option and the one I was going to do. There were other bundles available which had extra spare grinder heads and they were named things like 'best value bundle' but they weren't actually very good value. The grinder with two spare heads (free delivery and a warranty) was £52.95. They also show you making massive savings on the original price, which is of course a sales gimmick. That aside I was still happy to proceed with purchasing this product.

Now this is where my buying experience becomes interesting. I selected the nail grinder and clicked on the link to buy an additional grinder head. This took me to another section where in addition to the extra grinder heads was an offer to buy a bundle for £44.95. This was exactly the same bundle as I had seen previously that cost £52.95. After consideration I decided I would go for the £44.95 bundle as for another £5 I was getting a second spare grinder head.

I put in my details for delivery and my card details to pay but the system wouldn't take payment from my card, possibly because they are a USA company. Unfortunately I had run out of time and needed to get away to pick up my first dogs for the day so left this to return to complete the purchase later.

When I went back online to complete my purchase I found the system would accept payment through PayPal so placed my order. I made a mistake here by not realising I WAS BEING CHARGED £52.95.

Delivery took a bit longer than I had hoped (nearly a fortnight) but I have been pleased with the product. It is quiet, the dogs seem relaxed about it, it takes the nail back efficiently, and is nice to use.

When I noticed on my bank statement that I had paid £52.95 instead of £44.95 I contacted LuckyTail. After several emails explaining I had wanted the bundle for £44.95 they refused to accept the two bundles were exactly the same with the exception of a different bundle name and price. I accept the company is not obliged to honour the price for the product I thought I was getting as I made the mistake of not checking the price when I went back on the site to complete my purchase...but was obviously not too happy about this, and do not feel like I have been valued as a customer by LuckyTail.

By the way, I have been back on the LuckyTail website and seen they have changed their bundles. Buying the grinder for £29.95, and the £44.95 bundle aren't currently available.

I like the product but agree with the other reviews... the customer service shocked me.

I ordered it October 3rd on October 4th I received an email notification that it was shipped with a tracking number. Every time I try to track in the USPS website I received a message that it wasn't available at this time so when I talked to them they said the package has never reached them that a shipping label only was made. It is now October 30th and I still have nothing. The company keeps blaming shipping on covid-19, stuff that I ordered a week ago has come to me from USPS this is ridiculous.
