Repaired Epiphone USA Casino Sold as New
They sold me an Epiphone USA Casino (2500+ EUR) as NEW (serial 208230108), that had clearly been repaired.
The back of the headstock had been sprayed over with black paint - the edges where it was taped off show the original/correct tinted clear over wood colour underneath. So much paint was applied that the stamped serial number and stamped 'Made in USA' markings had been filled in level - only the first 3 numbers were not filled in with paint.
It has lacquer bubbling on a 5cm portion of the back of the neck (around 8th fret) - it looks like somebody held a flame too close to it. It also has a wear through on the paint on a small part of the headstock edge.
I bought it online and asked for pictures (did not get the back of the headstock). I also queried the condition and was told by a sales rep that there were no defects.
I have since been in contact with Gibson and they confirmed it does not look right, and that this serial number was sold to Ludi as New and not as B-Stock/factory second. Nor do they have any record of it coming back at any time for repairs.
Even on the slim chance this left Gibson in this condition and it was considered by Gibson as new/factory fresh, it is still very obviously something Ludi Music should point out as it does not meet the expectations of the model. It's not just an example of poor quality control from Gibson, it is a poorly done cover up of some kind of non-disclosed damage.
I returned the guitar and received a full refund (including shipping) on the basis it was not as described.
The model was out of stock after my purchase and is now back in stock (shortly after this arrived back), as of end April 2026. I can only assume it is the same guitar (only stock Gibson images are shown). As of today, there isn't any mention of this repair - Buyer Beware!
If you are interested in the model, ask for serial number and clear pictures of the back of the headstock - you will wince!

Return shipping refund refused for…
Return shipping refund refused for non-compliant goods
I ordered 10 connectors, that did not match the description (non-compliant goods). While the item price was eventually settled through PayPal, LudiMusic is still refusing to reimburse the mandatory €12.00 return shipping costs.
The Issue: Under Portuguese law (DL 24/2014, Art. 12) and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the merchant is strictly liable for all return costs when goods are non-compliant. LudiMusic is ignoring these legal obligations despite multiple requests.
The after-sales service regarding legal reimbursements is absolutely insufficient. Instead of forcing customers to fight for small amounts like these €12.00, the company should immediately authorize lawful refunds for non-compliant items.
I am willing to update this review as soon as the €12.00 is credited to my PayPal account.

Encomendei 10 fichas (Encomenda 137722) que não correspondiam à descrição (mercadoria não conforme). Embora o valor dos artigos tenha sido resolvido através do PayPal, a LudiMusic continua a recusar o reembolso obrigatório dos custos de envio da devolução, no valor de 12,00 €.
O Problema: De acordo com a lei portuguesa (Decreto-Lei n.º 24/2014, Art. 12.º) e a Diretiva UE 2011/83/UE, o vendedor é estritamente responsável por todos os custos de devolução quando os bens não estão em conformidade. A LudiMusic está a ignorar estas obrigações legais, apesar dos vários pedidos efetuados.
Feedback Construtivo: O serviço pós-venda relativo a reembolsos legais é absolutamente insuficiente. Em vez de forçar os clientes a lutar por pequenos montantes como estes 12,00 €, a empresa deveria autorizar imediatamente os reembolsos legítimos para artigos não conformes.
Estou disposto a atualizar esta avaliação assim que os 12,00 € forem creditados na minha conta PayPal.

Despite a successful PayPal claim, they still refuse to refund the 12,00 € return shipping costs for non-conforming goods, violating DL 24/2014. I have now notified the ASAE (Portuguese Economic Authority) regarding their failure to respond and the illegal withholding of funds.

I have been looking for a specific acoustic guitar for months. By specific i mean color + reputable brand / good quality combination. I was desperate. Nothing in my region, nothing basically anywhere. And then I stumbled upon ludimusic. They had a guitar model that wasn’t really available anywhere else apart from 2 other websites that had it listed, but didn’t have it in stock. And to my surprise, it WAS in stock here. It was exactly what i wanted. I was even more pleasantly surprised to see they ship internationally. I ordered it immediately. Shipment was fast, DPD was a bit slower but i didn’t mind. It arrived today, packed in one extra box on top for safety and there wasn’t a single issue. Delivery was quite cheap too considering how far the guitar was travelling. It was my first experience shopping here, and it was the best. Like the title says, they saved me by simply just having and selling my dream guitar & packing it safely so that it arrived in perfect condition. Thank you ludimusic!

Garantia não Aplidaca !
No dia 15/07/2025, adquiri nesta unidade ludimusic leiria uma Guitarra Yamaha C40. No dia de hoje, 05/01/2026, desloquei-me à loja para reportar uma anomalia (fissura no filete lateral).
O funcionário procedeu a uma avaliação visual, alegando tratar-se de 'mau uso'. No entanto, tal diagnóstico foi proferido por um vendedor e não por um técnico qualificado ou luthier. Recuso-me a aceitar uma decisão que compromete os meus direitos de consumidor baseada num julgamento amador.

Gonçalo at Ludimusic helped me remotely with the purchase of a classical guitar. I could not try or see the instrument myself, but he was incredibly service oriented, sending me pictures and giving me many inputs about the two guitars of the same model he had in stock so I could choose between them. Top service and a very kind and proactive seller. Thank you Gonçalo and Ludimusic. I am very happy with the instrument.

New Customer
This is the first time I have used LudiMusic and I was not disappointed. I had been searching for a particular guitar and LudiMusic had it in stock at a very competitive price. I purchased online and the guitar was delivered by DPD to a pickup point with 2 working days. The guitar was well packaged and in perfect condition. I cannot fault the service, life could be far less stressful if all online retailers were able to perform this well!

Comprei 2 colunas JBL eon715 e uma delas chegou danificada com uma mossa visivelmente devido ao transporte. Depois de enviar a reclamação acompanhada de várias fotos das caixas e da coluna, queriam que devolvesse a coluna e depois tratavam do assunto. Se eu comprei 2 colunas é porque precisava delas e aceitaria sim devolver a coluna na mesma hora que recebesse outra.
Desisti com uma garantia: Já tinha comprado outros produtos mas NÃO VOLTAREI A COMPRAR MAIS NADA a esta empresa.
Talvez isto sirva para outros eventuais clientes pensem 2 vezes.
Para mim chegou.

Quality guitar, great price and service
I recently purchased a guitar which had been discontinued by the manufacturer so I was delighted to find it here from Ludi Music. I had found the same guitar on a small number of other sites but for around €100 more!
I did email regarding the price as originally I thought the price was a bit lower before I input my location, I received a quick and friendly reply which explained that within Portugal musical instruments are subject to a lower vat rate than those exported. It all made perfect sense, the price was still very good and I was happy to go ahead with my order.
The guitar arrived in Ireland in approximately 1 week, it was very well packaged and was in perfect condition.
The guitar itself (LTD EC-1000 honey burst) is excellent, the finish is flawless, the pickups sound amazing.
Based on my experience I would be happy to recommend Ludi Music and order from them again myself in thd future.

Deplorable business practices.
This company tried to hold me financially responsible & keep my money for a guitar I bought from them online which I never recieved/got lost in transit. They ignored my many requests for my refund despite me giving them resonable time and fair chance to respond to said requests. They also ignored the dispute I raised through PayPal. They had complete control over the shipment and my money when I had neither. The shipping company would not give me information about the lost shipment because security protocol had not being followed and so because there was no way for the shipping company to verify who I was, they could not release information about it to me but only to the sender. So I had no agency over the shipment nor my own money.
The only way I was able to get my money back was by issuing a chargeback through my bank. It took me 48 days to get my money back.
I will never deal with this company again.
Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. Bruno was extremely polite and helpful. I purchased an Ibanez RGR652AHBF at a good price. Unfortunately, it had a minor issue. Ludimusic immediately collected the guitar at their expense, resolved the issue and returned it back to me. They also performed an excellent setup for only the cost of materials. I will definitely shop here in the future!

Pedi umas cordas e não veio para a morada certa e agora tenho de pagar novamente o preço de transporte.
Que falta de competência e consideração com o cliente.
Produto avariado: péssima assistência
Adquiri um microfone na empresa Ludimax.com em dezembro de 2023, no valor de 379€.
No entanto, em setembro de 2024, o microfone apresentou problemas e, após solicitar o arranjo, a empresa demorou mais de 30 dias para me enviar um microfone substituto, que recebi em novembro de 2024.
Quando retomei as minhas aulas em janeiro de 2025, percebi que o microfone substituto também não estava a funcionar corretamente, o que comprometeu seriamente a minha atividade profissional. Fui forçada a ministrar as aulas a gritar, o que causou danos à minha saúde vocal.
Solicitei a devolução do valor pago, uma vez que o produto não estava a funcionar, mas a empresa recusou o reembolso. Além disso, a empresa após solicitar o envio do equipamento para averiguar qual o dano em causa, exigiu a posteriori o pagamento de 13€ para o custo do transporte do produto, valor que nunca foi comunicado anteriormente quando foi solicitada a recolha para análise do equipamento. A empresa alegou que o microfone estava em bom estado, mas após testá-lo várias vezes, tenho a certeza de que o produto não funciona corretamente.
Neste momento, estou sem o produto e sem o reembolso, com o microfone retido indevidamente pela empresa. Considero que esta atitude da Ludimax.com é abusiva e uma clara violação dos meus direitos enquanto consumidora.
Recomendo cautela ao lidar com esta empresa, dado o comportamento inadequado em resolver problemas relacionados com os produtos adquiridos e a falta de transparência nas suas políticas. Solicito a devolução total do valor do equipamento, que está na garantia de 3 anos.
Uma porcaria péssimo atendimento…
Uma porcaria péssimo atendimento comprei uma little Martin que veio com defeito na captação e os atendentes se recusam a fazer a troca pq não tenho a caixa, dois dias depois de comprar, lojas como Music Store fazem a troca com formulário de devolução com ou sem caixa de a culpa é vocês assumam, palhaçada perda de tempo
Good retailer but be aware of price changes!!!
Did not complete the purchase online. The intend of this review is only to make everyone aware that the prices on the web site changes dramatically when shipped outside Portugal! Be aware of this! The solution is to go to Portugal and buy it from their local store to get the low price.
Very disappointed with timing and service
We bought a piano which had several late response key, very tight. So, after contacting store we had to pack it ourselves and send it back to the store to have the keys repaired. It's been more than 2 weeks that we are waiting for the piano to come back. No one offered to send a new one right away.
Experiência muito negativa com a Ludimusic
No dia 10/01/2025, efectuei uma encomenda na Ludimusic e paguei antecipadamente por um leque de guitarra. A encomenda chegou na data estimada (14/01), mas, para minha surpresa, recebi um artigo que não correspondia ao que tinha encomendado e, além disso, encontrava-se danificado.
Contactei a loja telefonicamente e, para além do atendimento rude e pouco profissional, foi-me exigido que apresentasse uma reclamação por e-mail com fotografias a comprovar o problema (o que, até aqui, seria aceitável). No entanto, após assumirem o erro, a loja insistiu que o artigo danificado e errado fosse recolhido antes de enviarem o produto correcto, que já tinha sido pago na totalidade no dia 10/01.
Durante todo este processo, fui tratada com desrespeito e arrogância sempre que tentei contactar a loja, como se a responsabilidade da situação fosse minha. Para agravar ainda mais, a recolha do artigo e a posterior entrega do correcto foram feitas pelos CTT sem qualquer aviso prévio sobre as datas, o que causou transtornos adicionais.
Finalmente, hoje (23/01), recebi o produto correcto, mas apenas após uma série de problemas, atrasos e um serviço pós-venda lamentável. Foi uma experiência frustrante e muito desagradável.
Infelizmente, não recomendo a Ludimusic e não voltarei a comprar nesta loja.
