Genuinely surprised at how bad the service has been.
Placed an order online and Luxottica took my payment. Ten days later I hadn't received any glasses and realised this company had not sent me any order or payment confirmation - just took my money. They pinned the blame on the courier for failing to deliver.
Provided me with no discount for missing my holiday on the replacement order, and again no order confirmation. Clueless company and terrible customer service. I have the glasses now about a month late, they're OK.
Bad Customer Service to Resolve Their Own Issue
I ordered replacement lenses for my Ray-Bans and received someone else's order. I finally got in contact with customer support via an online chat, and they were completely unhelpful in resolving a problem that was 100% their fault.
I was not even asking for any compensation, I simply wanted them to send me my order. They told me that someone would contact me in 3 days to talk about it. Now, I'm left trying to figure out how to correct their problem in order to actually get my order that was placed over a week ago.
The customer support agent simply kept saying he was sorry, but did absolutely nothing to help resolve the issue. In the end, he abruptly terminated the online chat and now I'm trying to figure out how to make this right.

Unreliable
Attempted to get after sale parts for a pair of Oakley sunglasses and all I got was them taking my money. After multiple emails and having to dispute the charges with my credit card company I finally received my refund. BEWARE!!!
Luxottica! Pay attention to the poor customer service in Hobart, Tasmania!
I had a very poor experience at OPSM, an optical store chain in Australia owned by Luxottica and have tried repeatedly to contact someone from Luxottica head office in Australia via email and no one has bothered to contact me.
They care very little about the poor level of service I received in Hobart, Tasmania and they should care. Because eventually, if the management in Tasmania and then in Australia isn't addressed, it will affect the company as a whole.
I still live in the hope that someone will contact me to find out why I am so disappointed with my experience with one of their companies.
Unpleasant experience with customer services
I had contacted customer services this morning, May 6/2022 @ 11:22 am MDT (Calgary), to inquire about a Versace sunglasses. I asked if the person on the other line can repeat her name so I can address her politely.
I was surprised as she told me that "why do you need my name?" She sounded like a more mature woman, without any accents.
Customer Service is the Worst!
Months ago I sent in my 5month old, $200 sunglasses for repair at Ray-Bans. After getting returned to sender (I was not notified), I contacted customer service and was told that I would get a refund for my purchase. A month later (again, I was not notified), I contacted the company about my refund. The company told me that I was misinformed and that Ray-Ban does not issue refunds, even though their company policy found on their website clearly states otherwise. When asked further about this, their customer service simply stated that Luxxotica (the parent company and the only one that deals with customer service for Ray-Ban) does not offer refunds. Furthermore, they told me to contact Ray-Ban directly. Every time I've tried calling Ray-Ban directly, my call goes unanswered or I am rerouted back to Luxxotica. I have been a loyal customer of Ray-Ban for years, but their customer service is the worst (not to mention the fact that their representatives are curt, misleading, and unhelpful). I shall not be buying from Ray-Ban again and would caution others from buying from them as well.
Phone system is a joke
Same experience with me. No customer service whatsoever. Phone system is a joke and a lesson in frustration. You will never get a human, and their chat will never message you back. There is no way to communicate with this company.
Oliver Peoples glasses
Bought Oliver Peoples Teril frames. Coating peeled from frames after 6-9 months - much like you would expect from cheap specs. They did replace these. Started peeling on new frames but now, just past warrantee from original purchase, they refuse to replace and offer only to sell me a new pair. As if I'd but this rubbish again!
Have worn OP eyewear all my life. Never again. Appalling quality and customer service.

It has been over 37 days without my glasses that they told me would take 5-7 days to send back to me and now they are telling me it could be 4 weeks, it has been 37 days. They supposedly expedited my case and still no glasses. I can not see, as these are my everyday glasses and they second pair I purchased from Luxottica that literally fell apart. These glasses are very expensive pieces of garbage. The dollar store makes higher quality glasses. Customer service is horrific to deal with and provides no answers at all. Would Neve recommend this company or any of there products to anyone, buyer beware

I am lab technician. Can't get support and order parts for lens edger
This is customer review from optical lab technician from Lithuania. As Luxottica merged with Essilor in 2018 and now is one company, this is my review for customer support service for laboratory equipment. I have optical lens edger Essilor Kappa M15 and need spare parts for that machine. In Lithuania we don't have direct distributors so I have tried contacting Essilor directly though website. There is only one option of contacting by web form. And obviously no response within few months after several attempts. I also couldn't buy needed spare parts and calibration tools for lens edger online as they have to accept me as a customer in their system by online registration form which is failing as I am a small business and I am not VAT registered. In this case their online form doesn't accept my registration.
I've been also looking for Essilor Kappa service manual (or at least user manual) and it is absolutely unavailable online. You can't get it officially so I have managed to get it from other lab technicians in one dedicated web forum luckily.
I am closely working with my customers and I care about them and I have absolutely 5 starts google review from all my customers and can be proud about it.
I rate this EssilorLuxottica at 0.
Looks like big business owners no longer care about their customers and only look at their portfolio. It's just a big money game for them but they can one day wake up to understanding that they loose that game to other competitors in market.
My advice. Go away and find better business.
Maybe use my service for glasses repair. At least there is 5 starts google rating ;)

Bought a pair of glasses from MK, defective workmanship cause the arm to fall off the frame after 3 weeks. They send me to Luxottica, they claim my glasses are fake and don't qualify for warranty lol.

Worst customer service of any company.
This company has the worst customer service department I've ever contacted. First, their telephone system circles around so that you can't get through, and then hangs up after circling through a number of times. Their chat representatives are beligerent and argumentative, and make up preposterous lies about their instructions for returning damaged glasses. They have no capacity to understand the problem from the customer's perspective. What are people like this dong working in a customer service department? If you buy a Luxottica brand, better hope you dont' need warranty service or replacements, because you won't get any help from them!
An absolute mockery.
Not a customer, but a previous employee who just quit last week. I have been trying to get in touch with ANYONE regarding filing a report against management at the store I worked at, and have been met with absolutely no response. 8 hour shifts, no breaks, no lunch break, no one to watch the store when you need to use the restroom. A gross use of power over employees and customers, falsifying documents, lying about giving job promotions just so you work yourself to death for months on $11 an hour doing his job while he takes several vacations, and only having 2-3 employees at a time which ensued chaos when someone needed to change their shift which resulted in our jobs being constantly threatened. There is so much more. Luxottica is a shame with no care for their customers or employees, just their paychecks… sick.
Good God-Worst Customer Service
Good God. The customer service at your company is the worst ever. I have tried to get my 78-year-old mother’s glasses replaced due to a manufacturer’s defect and in two months all I have gotten is emails back-and-forth with no resolution. When you call the customer service you just keep going around in circles with the voicemail system. There is no way to talk to a human being in your customer service department. It is so frustrating it is beyond belief. I have also tried contacting you through messenger and they just keep giving me the same customer service number. I am getting nowhere. This is just ridiculous I have never dealt with a company that has had worst customer service than this.

Ho acquistato una montatura da vista Chanel con lenti Essilor (quindi entrambi Luxottica) ma vedevo davvero male rispetto ai precedenti occhiali quindi ho chiesto di controllare se le lenti fossero difettose. Mi sono state cambiate gratuitamente ma continuavo a non vedere e avere mal di testa portando quegli occhiali anche solo per poco tempo, quindi ho deciso di fare una visita oculistica per vedere se la vista fosse peggiorata ma invece era stabile come al solito. Infine ho fatto controllare gli occhiali ad un altro ottico (negozio indipendente) che mi ha detto che quella montatura era troppo grande per il mio tipo di lente da ipermetrope....quindi ho dovuto comprare un'altra montatura e pagare altre lenti! Almeno ora vedo bene...

Just read the reviews. Worst customer service I’ve experienced in my life. I had to send numerous emails to ask for a refund for a order that I’ve returned and 2 months later I still didn’t get the full amount on my bank account. They don’t take into consideration my emails and they take days and days to answer with a pre-written script that is not helpful at all. So disappointed.
sends damaged glasses to customers
Ordered a pair of her Versace sunglasses off of sunglasses hut on June 27 the glasses started to break two weeks later I sent them in for a warranty and was told I’m receiving a brand new pair of glasses instead they sent back the same pair of glasses AND THEY ARE EVEN MORE DAMAGED THEN WHEN I SENT THEM THERE!!! I would’ve never claimed a warranty if I knew they would send me back glasses that are even more damaged than what I had. I have now filed a return but I assume they’re going to tell me I can’t return it because it’s damaged but they sent me a damaged pair!!! This company is disgusting and they should be sued I will never order from this company or sunglasses hut and continue to leave reviews on every website I can find👍🏻
