Buy cheap, Buy twice!
Great online shopping experience. Furniture came well packaged unamaged. Was a bit dubious about laying out considerable cash for sight unseen furniture, but no issue in the end This stuff it well made. Joints are mortice and tendon with wooden dowle pegs, rather than screws, as it should be. This furniture will last for years if looked after.

I placed an order for nearly £3,000 for a 10-seater extending teak table with matching curved benches, so I expected a level of customer service and communication to match the value of the purchase.
As the expected delivery date approached, I hadn’t received any delivery confirmation, so I phoned the company the week before to check everything was on track. I was told someone would get back to me but it was all in hand.
Nobody got back to me.
With the expected delivery due very soon, I emailed again on 14 July asking for an update:
“As discussed verbally last week I am still waiting for delivery confirmation, the table and chairs are expected tomorrow yet no one has confirmed this with me. Can I have a delivery update.”
It wasn’t until 15 July—more than a week after my phone call and only after I had chased the order twice—that I was informed a website stock system error had allowed me to purchase a table that was actually out of stock until next year.
I appreciate Danielle’s apology and the offer of an alternative rectangular table together with a complimentary coffee table worth around £200. However, while those gestures were appreciated, they don’t make up for the poor communication and they wouldn’t match..
Mistakes happen, and stock issues are understandable. What isn’t acceptable is allowing a customer to place a £3,000 order, leaving them expecting delivery, failing to return promised calls, and only revealing the item is unavailable after they repeatedly chase for an update. I’m not the only one here saying this… check the other reviews, that’s why I began chasing early!
Had I been informed when I first called—or, better still, proactively contacted as soon as the issue was discovered—I could have made alternative arrangements. Instead, I lost over a week waiting for information that should have been provided without me having to ask, booked a day off work because I throught it was communications errors…
Now For that reason, I cancelled my order and requested a full refund. It’s disappointing because the furniture looks excellent, but based on my experience I cannot recommend the ordering process or the level of customer communication.
Hopefully they won’t dilly dally now refunding me… but I’m happy to update this review if they don’t refund quickly.
The mad thing is in order tracking it says my order is fulfilled and shipped!

A system error allowed the order to be placed when the item wasn't available to ship. That in itself is unacceptable, but it was compounded by the failures you describe: a missed callback, no immediate contact once we had identified the issue internally, and a tracking portal that continued to show your order as in shipping. None of that reflects how we intend to, or normally, operate.
While you were unhappy with the goodwill gesture we offered, we accepted your decision to cancel and the full refund was processed immediately and should already be reflected in your account.
The stock system error has been corrected. The communication failures around it are being addressed internally, and I take that responsibility personally. My and our sincere and unreserved apologies once again.

Lovely quality furniture
Received my chairs sooner than expected and live them. Lovely quality and look great.
My only negative was that they were out of stock of cream cushions with a published wait inbox 2-3 weeks. To avoid the delay I asked to purchase without the cushions and they refused! I purchased with black cushions and replaced them to then see the cream cushions in stock the same day.

A smart, solidly constructed patio set
Delivered very quickly. The guys assembling the table were real experts - they didn’t need to exchange a word during the whole process! The table expansion works smoothly. You can expand using one extra panel or two and the table looks perfect either way. There are a few rough edges on the chairs, otherwise this would be a 5 star review but overall the set looks very smart, is solid, and everything sits nice and firmly on the patio - no rocking or uneven legs. I’m extremely pleased with it.

Excellent product and service table and chairs are as described…
The table and chairs are as described and very well made, and they arrived promptly. I was given an option of delivery dates and kept informed of the arrival time. I was then phoned 20 minutes before the delivery arrived. The two men who unpacked and assembled the table were friendly and very efficient and they removed all the packaging. I was extremely impressed with their efficiency and the quality of the furniture.

It was swift and seamless
It was swift and seamless. I ordered my oval six seater teak dining set on the Thursday and we were having dinner on the deck by the following week.
The installers were (according to my husband) very well organised and efficient. He is hyper critical so that’s high praise.
The quality of the table, chairs, cushions and parasol is exactly as described. I’m very pleased with it.
We are now eating in the garden most evenings, even on weekdays. We have been very grateful for the parasol given the current heatwave.
I would recommend.
