It was a fantastic experience!
For the first time in my life I had the opportunity to observe these wonders of the sea, the team made the experience truly wonderful! They were extremely professional, but also very attentive, kind, funny and absolutely informative! It was wonderful to sail with people who really love this job and the most important thing for them is the animals and our safety. It was great to see how respectful they are towards the animals, and it was wonderful that they tried to pass this spirit on to us too! "This is their home, we are just visitors."
They kept asking if everyone was okay and told us to let them know if we were feeling sick. I may have been a little late. Unfortunately, I fainted on the boat, causing quite a stir, but they immediately jumped to help me, and on the shore they even offered me refreshments to make sure I felt better!
Overall, it was a fantastic experience! Especially since not only the visitors, but also the tour guides set off with the same enthusiasm! Thank you very much for the experience!

Très déçus de cette excursion

Nous avons réservé une excursion à 4 personnes sur un catamaran pour une durée de 3 heures, avec la promesse garantie de voir des dauphins. C’était d’ailleurs un argument principal qui nous a motivés à réserver. Résultat : aucun dauphin aperçu.

Durant la sortie, nous avons passé quasiment tout le temps assis à simplement regarder l’eau. La baignade, qui devait être un moment agréable, n’a même pas duré 10 minutes, ce qui est bien trop court pour en profiter réellement.

De plus, dès la première réservation, il nous a été demandé de payer 46 € en liquide, puis le reste également en liquide le lendemain.
À la fin de l’excursion, nous avons voulu demander un remboursement, mais on nous a indiqué que ce n’était pas possible, car c’était précisé en tout petit sur les conditions. On nous a simplement proposé de payer 10 € par personne supplémentaires pour refaire la sortie — ce qui est, à notre sens, totalement inacceptable au vu de l’expérience déjà décevante.

En résumé : promesses non tenues, organisation approximative, manque de transparence sur les conditions et très mauvais rapport qualité-prix. Nous ne recommandons absolument pas cette excursion.

Nous payons 48€ a l’agence.
Le reste 112€ a Magic Dolphins.
Nous effectuons le trajet de 3h ou nous avons rien vu dutout !!
Ah oui petit arrêt baignade de 5minutes chronos, le temps est compté !
L’endroit de la baignade n’est pas terrible on voit rien dutout mise a part le paysage.
Nous avons souhaité un remboursement qui a été refusé car la chance de voir des dauphins et de 90/95%, ils proposent donc de refaire la tournée mais faut payer en plus ! je rêve!
Je déconseille fortement ! a fuir en plus ils ne se foulent pas pour chercher des dauphins effectue le même trajets tous les jours puis personnel pas très aimable.
Gardez votre argent et aller vous baigner sur une plage c’est largement + beau.

Si vous voulez vivre une belle expérience en mer tout en préservant ces magnifiques créatures, n'hésitez pas ! Nous avons vu 3 cachalots et un quinzaine de Dauphin.

An Unforgettable Experience – Highly Recommended!

Today, I had the great pleasure of joining a boat tour to observe dolphins and other marine life – and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The organization beforehand was smooth and professional, and on board we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive crew. Right from the start, we felt completely comfortable and well taken care of.

The boat was well-equipped and comfortable: there were two clean toilets, a variety of chilled drinks, small snacks like chips, and even a complimentary welcome drink. A real highlight was that we could go swimming during the approximately three-hour tour – especially wonderful given the beautiful weather!

The crew took their time to share fascinating information about the marine life, and we were lucky enough to see many dolphins up close – a truly magical moment!

What really sets this tour apart from others is the comfortable amount of space. While other boats looked completely overcrowded, we had only about 20 people on board – giving everyone plenty of room to relax and fully enjoy the experience. Choosing this catamaran was definitely the best decision!

A special shoutout goes to how considerate the crew was toward pregnant guests: I’m currently seven months pregnant, and I was incredibly well looked after. The staff was extremely kind and attentive – and I even received a complimentary drink on the house.

Conclusion: This boat tour was a fantastic experience – professionally run, delivered with real passion, and simply beautiful. I can warmly recommend it to everyone!

Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis – absolut empfehlenswert!

Ich hatte heute das große Vergnügen, an einer Bootstour zur Beobachtung von Delfinen und anderen Meerestieren teilzunehmen – und es war einfach rundum perfekt! Schon die Organisation im Vorfeld lief reibungslos, und an Bord wurden wir herzlich vom äußerst freundlichen und aufmerksamen Personal empfangen. Man fühlte sich sofort willkommen und gut aufgehoben.

Das Boot war komfortabel ausgestattet: Es gab zwei saubere Toiletten, eine Auswahl an gekühlten Getränken, kleine Snacks wie Chips und zur Begrüßung sogar ein Gratis-Getränk. Besonders schön war, dass man während der ca. dreistündigen Fahrt auch schwimmen gehen konnte – ein echtes Highlight bei dem schönen Wetter!

Die Crew nahm sich viel Zeit, uns spannende Informationen über die Meereswelt zu vermitteln, und wir hatten das große Glück, viele Delfine aus nächster Nähe zu sehen – ein magischer Moment!

Was diese Tour wirklich von anderen unterscheidet, ist das angenehme Platzangebot. Während andere Boote völlig überfüllt wirkten, waren wir mit etwa 20 Personen an Bord – genug Raum für alle, um die Fahrt in vollen Zügen zu genießen. Diese Entscheidung für diesen Katamaran war definitiv die beste!

Ein besonderes Lob auch für die Rücksichtnahme auf schwangere Gäste: Ich bin aktuell im siebten Monat schwanger und wurde bestens betreut. Die Crew war unglaublich hilfsbereit und aufmerksam – auch hier gab es ein Gratis-Getränk aufs Haus.

Fazit: Diese Bootstour war ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis – professionell organisiert, mit Herzblut durchgeführt und einfach nur wunderschön. Ich kann sie jedem wärmstens empfehlen!

No need to worry.
Before we went on our trip I was apprehensive! Was I going to be sick/get soaked/see nothing. None of this happenned. The crew were helpful/patient/pleasant....all good. We saw dolphins and pilot whales and watched a flight coming into Funchal! All good.

Absolutely amazing sea safari by speedboat. Felt very safe but exhilarated. Our marine biologist was even more excited than we were with the beautiful wild whales we saw. She was excellent, with her information and her passion. The captain was fantastic, respectful of the animals but getting us in a position to get a wonderful view, getting information from spotters on shore to see three beautiful species of whale in their natural habitat. Couldn’t have been better.

The BIG scam, on 3 hours of boat paid in the end since the crew is not on time you leave late and will come back early because? They are lazy?

So during these 3 hours there are zigzags of almost 50 minutes to go offshore to play the fools with the waves, then we more or less saw 2 mini whales that they tracked so much at high speed that they left.

Then you will go back to the coast for a while to take a dip with 4/5 people the rest will cook on the deck because that's the deal? 😅 After we go along the coast like a common sightseeing boat so that they point out the coastal towns we pass.

Totally useless.

Over 3 hours they look for whales for a maximum of 40 minutes and I'm still being nice.

You will be crammed in at more than 80 on the catamaran which is supposed to be electric for the ecology but which smell the fuel like not possible. 🤣.

On the other hand at the end do not forget to applaud this masquerade and to give a tip in the Tip box.

Out of the question it is already super well paid given the service provided.

Everything is paid on board besides not even a glass of water.

Profitability is the key word of this company and you will be entitled to a coupon at the end with -10% to try to glean other tourists.

I threw away all the brochures.

I will take the time to answer since you are making fun of the world in the answer in my opinion.

And in truth you deserve less than 1 star and several people on exactly the Same opinion as me too.

You are just mentors and clowns.🤡 And the fact that you answer completely off the mark without any repartee does not prove the truth of what I say.

You do not counter any arguments.

There people will be warned about your scam with organized tourists.

And I read your description carefully and it is just a tissue of lies.

You promise at least several dolphins and not whales.

There you saw a whale in the month diving and you said: it's good you saw it nickel and then left to have people swim.

I do not pay to take a dip.

Your engines are fuel oil ⛽️ and therefore not at all electric another lie.

Far too many on the catamaran to make the most of it we were on top of each other.

And apart from laughing amongst yourselves and having a drink, you don't make much of a choice other than collecting money and asking for tips for your great performance!

A word to the wise.

Paid 60 euros to be bashed around and soaked with no sightings of anything, the conditions were not suitable and should not have taken place just a money grabbing operation avoid

This trip was incredible from the start to the end. The captain Fabio was brilliant and very respectful of the animals. Clara and Natasha’s knowledge and passion was evident which enhanced an already magical experience. We will definitely look to do this again if we return to Madeira.

Professional and friendly crew. They have great knowledge and respect of the island and marine life. The vessel is immaculate and they went all out to locate the pod of pilot whales we saw.

We enjoyed the trip on new ‘E’ catamaran. 3.5 hours. Boat is comfortable. Crew very friendly. We saw Pilot Whales and Rough Toothed Dolphins. Consequently no time for swimming, which was the correct decision. Crew made a point of making sure everyone on board got a good view, leading individuals to spaces at front of the boat. Very respectful of the wildlife, and took trouble to explain about the species.

J'ai réservé avec airbnb et j'ai rencontré un problème avec le paiement de la place de mon fils : la personne aux caisses n'a été d'aucune aide, pas compréhensive du tout, elle s'est contentée de nous faire payer le supplément sans vouloir comprendre le problème, et sans sourire bien sûr.
Je ne pense pourtant pas que ces personnes manquent d'argent vu le nombre de personnes qui embarquent sur le bateau, alors qu'il est annoncé un petit nombre de personnes,il se trouve que nous sommes 150, ce qui est énorme.........
Je remets aussi en cause l'implication des membres de l'équipage lors de ce trip, car je ne trouve pas que lorsque nous ne voyons pas de dauphins, ce qui a été notre cas, leur volonté de chercher et chercher encore soit existante. Pourtant il y a des enfants, et le but premier est de voir des dauphins, vu le nom du bateau.........
Nous avons vu les dauphins dans deux trips précédents à Lanzarote et Tenerife, l'équipage était vraiment impliqué à chercher les dauphins, là ce n'était pas le cas, ils font quotidiennement le même trajet, sont à peine désolés, et rient beaucoup entre eux.je trouve cela regrettable et je souhaitais le signaler.
