I am very disappointed in my experience with this company. I ordered a Grimms large rainbow on the 25th May as a pre order item. I wasn’t expecting a very quick turn around with it being pre ordered especially since it said on the website it could take up to 6 weeks. As well as this, on the website it stated that ‘If you have chosen a pre order item, thank you for ordering ahead with us. We will keep you updated along the way and let you know as soon as your special piece is ready to be sent.’ However, after 2 months they did not live up to this statement and I had revived 0 communication from them about the delay. So when contacting them myself they said there has been an issue with delivery and they may not be able to fulfill the order. I understand issues may arise but the lack of communication was dreadful, especially with it being a £70 order. I have just recieved an email from them today (12th August) after 11 weeks of waiting, stating that I am now being refunded. It’s so disappointing when I ordered this for my son’s birthday. I know some things are out of their control but the lack of communication was bad manners and unprofessional.

Really disappointed with my experience with Magic Forest Shop. Placed an order of Grimm’s products on the 30th of June and paid £15 for next day delivery as we were going away on holiday on the 1st of July. I had missed the 1pm cut off so I knew it would arrive on the Wednesday just before we went away on Thursday. I expected to get a delivery notification on the Tuesday evening but didn’t so waited until Wednesday to contact the company. The owner Leanne phoned me to say she missed the delivery as she didn’t see it and reassured me that she would ship it on the 8th July ready to arrive on the 9th as we were home by then and she refunded the £15 delivery fee (which I appreciated). Unfortunately, once again I had no delivery confirmation on the 8th so I emailed Leanne again and she said no she didn’t send it but it’d be sent on the Thursday. I was getting annoyed and concerned now as it is my son’s birthday on the 16th. Again, Thursday evening, no delivery confirmation to which Leanne sent me a long email apologising and reassuring me she’d send it with the fasted delivery on the Friday. A shipping label was made but it was a 48 tracked delivery and according to Royal Mail wasn’t actually sent off by the company until the Monday and therefore only arrived today. Thankfully just in time for my son’s birthday but I will definitely not be buying from this small business again due to the stressful experience and unreliable delivery dates. Yes, Leanne was good at responding to me via emails but it was all fake promises and apologies. Avoid if you need things delivered within a timely manner.

Ordered 2 items 11 weeks ago and never received them. Was told it would arrive within 4 weeks. Owner emails very sporadically to say it’s expected any day and then never actually fulfils the order. If you read other reviews and Instagram and Facebook comments for this business you’ll see this is a common issue. Customer services are very rude. I’d avoid using this business again
