I saw that MAH have inspected a few properties on my development and got in touch to request a quote. Cheryl responded to my emails promptly and professionally and I was happy to book in. Not one phone call was needed throughout the entire process.

On the day of the inspection, mark arrived early and happily spent the extra time talking me through how the inspection was going to pan out, where he would go what he would check etc, he provided a great insight as to how detailed the checks were.

The report was sent to me on the same day as the visit, all of which took place on a Saturday, mark and Cheryl were happy to accommodate around my schedule

Mark carried out a remarkable snagging survey for me. He is amicable, meticulous, professional and highly experienced. He found out three major issues and explained to me clearly. He also identified 146 other minor issues for the developer to fix up. All these issues were detailed in his clearly written snagging report.
As a newcomer to the UK and living here for about two years, I have much yet to learn about living in a house in the UK. The report identified 98 fixes, so we are very happy to have used MAH and would strongly recommend anyone to use them who has bought a new build from any developer.

We thought we wouldnt have many issues, so it just shows even if nothing obvious that you cannot trust your developer to have built everything to NHBC standard.

Mark was very thorough in the inspection of our new house, finding issues that we would never have found (for example, a missing fuse in an isolating switch, and a bay window being outside the NHBC tolerance for straightness). He even used a thermal camera to identify cold spots. Whilst there were only a few major issues, there were many minor issues which would eventually annoyed us. Now, the builder is coming round to fix all of them at once. It was well worth the cost of the inspection, we are very happy.

Mark was very professional, and very polite, and explained all issues he found and how they were referenced with the relevant NHBC regulations.
The report was very clear showing what the issues were and where they were found.
He also said any issues with our builder trying to get out of sorting any issue, to simply contact him and he'll back up the issue as required.

Extremely thorough

MAH inspections did a great job about finding the new defects in our new home. Marc has a keen eye to find the tiny defect which is barely ignored and can't be found easily by the naked eye. He even reported the scratches, which we think are normal in the new house, but actually they are defects and entitled to receive the new appliance or get it replaced with the new one for the money we paid to the builder. We had no idea about the insulation in the loft, but Marc found that insulation is missing in some parts of the loft, also he found that cold air has been leaking into the house through the main door via tiny holes that are supposed to be not there. He found more than 160 defects in our house, not easily found by a normal person without a professional snagging. Appreciate MAH inspections and team in their great work. They are brilliant and perfect in their work. I wish them all the best and grow more. Special thanks to Marc for being friendly with us throughout the snagging and explaining things clearly to us.
