Dear team Martinel, we have obtained this contact through a friendly relationship. They had good experiences both in terms of communication and not unimportantly competitive prices. Ho acquistato un prodotto da esposizione, è arrivato come nuovo, imballato alla perfezione ed immacolato (nonostante il corriere non l’abbia maneggiato sicuramente con cura giudicando i segni sull’imballo). A mio avviso un’azienda davvero seria e precisa, super consigliata!

Ho acquistato una libreria Joy e l'ho ricevuta graffiata in più punti. Alla mia segnalazione, mi è stato risposto che l'imballaggio era stato fatto correttamente e che avrei dovuto contestare subito al corriere (che ha consegnato il pacco al portinaio, non a me). Il pacco presentava solo un segno, ma era integro nei punti corrispondenti a diversi graffi. Risultato: si rifiutano di assumersi la responsabilità e di risolvere il problema.

We have ordered a bed a coffee table from this company, altogether this went for a total of almost 6000€.
When I placed the order, I said that the bed had to arrive in multiple pieces, as it is for our second floor, so it needed to fit in the staircase. Julian, who was the person I was discussing this with by email, said it would be okay.
When we received the bed, it was indeed in multiple pieces. But the wooden slats (180cm x 200cm) arrived in one piece. I messaged them again, informing them of their mistake, and asked to be sent the wooden slats in 2 parts, as it says from the manufacturer that is possible. I even suggested that I could pay for the shipping, and return the wrong part to them. They said that it's not possible, and they wanted to sell me the correct slats for another 550€!
According to them, I did not mention that I wanted the slats in 2 pieces. So I should have guessed that when I said the bed needed to be in multiple pieces, that the slats, which are part of the bed, were not going to be in multiple pieces, like I asked.
This company is acting in bad faith, and are trying to blame their customers for their own mistake.
I only put 2 stars because the items I received were of good quality, but I would never recommend Martinel to anyone. Find the items that you need from other companies, with a customer service that can recognise when they have messed up.

Der Händler lügt (nachweislich) droht mit Anwalt und stellt seine Zulieferer (Riva1920) unter Verdacht.
Eine ehrliche Kommunikation ist nicht möglich.
Finger weg von diesem Händler.

Martinel ist uns knapp EUR 6.500.- schuldig, die wir nun einklagen müssen.

Order furnitures from Belgium to an Italian Company like Martinel was a fantastic experience. We requested quote for Varaschin outside furniture and got quickly a very good price, great follow-up and answering our questions in a minute ! We received the material by a professional transport Company and we received exactly what was ordered with our great pleasure !
We got in contact with Costantina and she did an amazing work throughout the process with great communication and clear advices.
The day we received the equipment, Rosa called us from Martinel Italy to confirm that delivery took place correctly.
MARTINEL and his Team is a wonderful company with great people !!

Was a bit hesitant to order after reading some of reviews below, but glad we did go ahead and ordered a Bonaldo chair and footrest. Good price quote. Delevery time of 10 weeks as indicated by the manufacturer. Good communication on status. Delivery to Netherlands by trusted transport company. Chair recieved in time, with fabric as ordered and in good condition. Recommened!!

We were looking for a specific bed and found it on a few websites. After careful research we choose Martinel. They were helpful choosing the right materials (some were listed on the manifacturer website, but not the Martinel store). They were responsive while we were eagerly waiting for the bed and delivery was pretty fast once dispatched. I can recommend them and would shop here again.

I'll keep it short... I'd give 0 stars if possible.

They've forgot to deliver all table legs and one sideboard was damaged.... all of this resulted in me losing quite a bit of time and money.

Also, the replacement doors they've send (after a long discussion, mind you...) for the damaged unit do not match and have a HUGE scratch as well (seriously, they're that bad). The table top's quality (a ceramic table top by Cattelan Italia) either does scratch VERY easily (instead of being very scratch-resistant as they claim) or it got delivered with scratches as well. Pure trash or at least a lemon (as in an inferior unit), as they say.

The seller's slow and does the bare minimum and when there's a problem you will be on your own and they will say that you've destroyed the items or blackmail them (what the hell?). I'm looking into taking legal steps now and will write my experience down everywhere I can. Just for reference: I've ordered from other online stores that sell high-class Italian designer furniture and had ZERO problems, everything worked out fine.

Kompletter Irrsinn. Warte seit Wochen auf eine Lieferung und werde nur vertröstet. Keine Tracking Möglichkeit wo die Lieferung gerade ist. Finger weg.

Not to recommend. As seen by google I am not the only one. The problem starts if you want to send something back. I wanted to withdraw from the contract. They refused to take a bed back with hilarious reasons, refused to talk to me and allowed me - after the 2nd email - only to talk to their lawyer (ridiculous). Perhaps they believe to be above the law or simply ignoring your rights knowing or using the fact that you hesitate to fight your rights through in a foreign country. I feel betrayed. So I will have to take a lawyer in order to get my rights through. For me they are my nightmare of a business partner - like dinosaurs of old ages, when bad customer relations were perhaps still standard. Today in the ages of amazon and the insight in the value of consumer rights just as an easy return policy to let the online market florish - such a behaviour is in my eyes neither needed to be nor should it be accepted. I wonder how shops like them can destroy my trust in the online market. I advice myself: be smarter and run away next time.

By the way: it took about 16 weeks instead of promised 6-7 weeks to deliver the bed.

Great experience with this shop, quick delivery within the promised timeframe (even though I was ordering just before August , when the production stops in Italy), great customer service.
