Great place to sit your exams.
Sitting exams invigilated by Siobhan and Dave is highly recommended! They are so professional whilst also being approachable, friendly and helpful. They run everything so smoothly, which helps you to relax in the exam environment. Siobhan was also really helpful over the phone beforehand with a booking admin issue I had, and I was really happy with the resolution. I travel to this venue instead of using closer facilities because they run it so well here.

Couldn't recommend enough
I tried two other online accounting courses before starting my studies at McArthur Morgan and they don't hold a candle to the service provided. Tom was incredibly informative during my L2 AAT studies and helped make the process fun and educational; Alan has really broken down the L3 AAT content to make it as digestible as possible and has explained things in a way which has really benefitted me in my new role at an accountancy firm.

I used McArthur Morgan and genuinely…
I used McArthur Morgan and genuinely regret choosing them. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid this provider.
The video lessons were unnecessarily long, yet still rushed through important topics. Key concepts were not explained clearly or broken down in a way that supports proper understanding. Instead of structured teaching, it often felt like I was expected to piece everything together myself.
The PDF workbooks were just as disappointing. They were difficult to follow, poorly structured, and did not properly support the video content. Rather than making things clearer, they added to the confusion.
There was also a lack of clear communication when they switched to a new website. This change was not properly clarified to me, and it took a long time for them to provide my login details. This caused unnecessary delays and disrupted my studies, which is unacceptable when you have paid for a course.
Another major frustration was that the exam paper included in the hard copy materials was not provided as a PDF. In today’s digital learning environment, not including a downloadable version makes no sense. It limits flexibility and makes revision more inconvenient than it needs to be.
When I reached out for tutor support, I experienced slow responses and had to chase for replies. As someone balancing other commitments, I do not have time to repeatedly follow up. Advertising support from 8am to 10pm is meaningless if students are left waiting and forced to pursue responses themselves.
Overall, the experience felt disorganised, poorly communicated, and lacking in proper academic support. I did not receive the level of service I expected for the money paid, and I would strongly encourage others to carefully consider alternative providers before enrolling.

Our courses are designed around a combination of tutor-led videos, structured workbooks and ongoing tutor support, and we always encourage students to reach out whenever something isn’t clear so we can help while the course is in progress. It’s frustrating to read concerns like these at the end of a course, as it limits our ability to step in and resolve them at the time.
You’re right to highlight that our move to a new learning platform caused disruption for some students. Where this happened we extended course access so that no study time was lost, but I’m sorry that the transition affected your experience.
We do take feedback seriously and use it to improve our courses and systems. If you’d be open to discussing any of the points you’ve raised further, we’d still welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly.

A Great Help For AAT
McArthur Morgan has helped me as an On Demand student for both level 3 & 4 AAT. The videos are detailed while going through the content & provide tips & tricks on what is likely to come up & how to approach different exam questions. They also provide exam-style questions & mock exams. Remi, the course manager, is really helpful and answers any queries promptly. Locked out of my portal
Locked out of my portal as I hadn't received the bills in my email. Paid £150 immediately to bring it up to date. 2 days later I'm still being told the accounts team need to check. Mcarthur Morgan have very much now hindered my education, not enhanced it. Do not recommend.

I have looked into this and I have determined that your access to the study resources was deactivated as you hadn't made your outstanding instalment payments as agreed.
As part of our credit control process your access to the account was revoked.
As I’m sure you can appreciate, we needed to have received your payment before we could reactivate your portal, and once the accounts team had confirmed receipt you were given immediate access.
I have checked your access to the online platform and can see that you have not attempted to access the resources since the 4th November.
Here at McArthur Morgan we do not try to hinder our students education. On the contrary, we try to be as flexible as possible and would hope that going forward we can assist you in achieving your study goals.
Live Online AAT level 2 Cert in Accounting
Signed up for Live Online AAT level 2 certificate in Accounting with McArthur Morgan. Remi was very helpful getting me set up and responded to my queries ensuring I had all the workbooks and practice papers, nothing was too much trouble. Tom our tutor was good and kept the pace of the course in line with completing it within six months.

Superb AAT training package
After years of procrastination, I finally bit the bullet and signed up for a Live Online AAT course with McArthur Morgan, and am so happy that i did. The tutors, Tom and Vanessa, were instrumental in helping me achieve the L2 & L3 qualifications with well-structured lessons and on demand support. The portal backs up their expertise and provides a brilliant user-friendly study guide with hours of video tutorials and mock exams to prepare you for the real thing. Can’t recommend enough and intend to sign up to L4 with them soon to endorse that further.

AAT On Demand
I was recommended this provider to begin my AAT studies (Level 1 Bookkeeping) and have found the whole process easy to follow from start to finish. As an On Demand user I have had unlimited access to the course videos and support if required. The videos themselves were very clear and easy to follow, especially considering I was learning new information. I liked that the course then followed into a revision phase after completing all the learning, and this gives you plenty of mock exams to try and a walkyhrough of all the answers.
So thank you Alan and the team and I look forward to moving onto Level 2.

The course content/resources are very detailed especially when using the On Demand version.
Tom Dimelow is very clear in all the videos, and breaks down the teaching in a way students of varying knowledge can understand.
Siobhan Cook was so helpful with helping navigate the exam process, answering questions or directing things to the AAT. She was also very approachable and supportive when taking exams at the London campus, which did mean a lot for someone taking this type of qualification for the first time.

Great customer service and responses
I joined the Bookkeeping Level 1 on-demand course last year. I got going really quickly, the learning materials arrived promptly and the online interface was easy to use. Replies to queries I made to my tutor came back within 24 hours which was great.
I was about 60% through the course when I hit a period where I couldn't study, but knowing it was on-demand I didn't stress about it too much. When I returned to study I found the course had disappeared from my online portal. When I queried, I discovered the course had a time limit of 6 months access, apparently referenced in the T&Cs, but it was mentioned nowhere on the screen when I purchased the course so I hadn't realised. I was pretty upset as I felt this was quite devious to not be up front about such restrictions.
The lady I spoke to on the phone was very understanding of my situation and extended my access to the course for an extra couple of months so that I can go ahead and finish.
I actually had 3 different people reach out to solve my issue within a few hours of me sending an email and leaving a voicemail over the query, so in terms of customer service response it was excellent and I am very grateful for the extension. It is that kind of response that means I am really happy to have chosen McArthur Morgan to study with.

I had a very positive experience while studying with McArthur Morgan. My tutors Tom and Vanessa were very knowledgeable, and it was a pleasure listen to them. I am very grateful especially for having this extra time to complete my course as I work full time, have two kids and generally very busy schedule. Remi, the person who does all admin, was always amazing and going extra mile so I can have everything to help me achieve my goals. Finally the invigilators Ms Siobhan and earlier Remi were always very kind. Once I thought I forgot my glasses and Remi asked me not to worry, go home and come back later. I found them downstairs soon after but I did appreciate that Remi was so kind to me always.

Great Course
I am doing level 2 accounting and McArthur Morgan are great i started with OnDemand learning and i wasn't getting anywhere fast, the collgue are accommodating and switched me to live online and well.... in 2-1/2 months i have sat and passed 2 exams at 96% and halfway though my last book i joined 14 months ago and haven't had no where near as much motivation as i have in the last 2-1/2 months. The classes are informative and the tutors are through, no question to silly and you cant ask to many times. I would like to shout out Lisa who has been amazing and i am sure i have drove crazy with our regular calls but i couldn't have done it without you.

It is interesting to read that you were not progressing as well as hoped while studying on the On Demand course option. Our experience tells us that all students enjoy different study pathways and methods. The On Demand option tends to work for those students that prefer to study at their own pace but the majority tend to prefer the interaction involved via the Live Online option.
I am very happy to read that since you have switched to the Live Online option things have improved. Many congratulations on your success at the first two assessments that you have taken. Your percentage pass rates are very impressive. You should be very proud of the effort that you have put in.
