Bait and Switch Scam
What originally would have started as a great review went down hill within a year. This also seems to be the case for most people I know or have heard from who have used this company. They pull you in promising a lower APR loan to help you knock down your debt, but they raised my APR without notification, no one ever responds to you from customer service with any kind of urgency and helpful answer (just BS and avoiding accountability), and out of the blue they'll just cancel your account with them for no reason. You can make every payment on time, you can do you best to pay above the minimum every month and they will still just randomly cancel your account. Debt can years to pay off, you would think that they would stick with you both because they promise and advertise to do so but also because all that interest money goes in their pocket instead of credit cards companies. Just absolutely disappointing. EVERY POSITIVE REVIEW YOU SEE IS FROM SOMEONE WHO JUST GOT TALLY AND HASN'T BEEN SCREWED BY THEM YET...DON'T WORRY IT'S COMING.

Update - all bad
Update, February 5th, 2024
- I received an email on Nov 29th, 2023 stating that an investor pulled out of their agreement and over night, they can no longer help me pay off credit cards.
- they continue charging me the membership, under the threat of charging me even higher APR of 28.74% (currently 25.74%)
- I’m reading now that this happened again to other thousands of customers in January 2024 - Tally giving the same excuse as November 2023 - an investor walked away
- this is either a case of bait and switch, or the company is in some sort of trouble, hence investors are pulling out. Either way, not good news for the customers so stay away!

SCAM! Breach of Contract!
On 11/29/23, two days before my two largest credit card payments were due, I received an email from Tally indicating that they would no longer be servicing my account EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. This was a significant change from the email I had received a month prior, indicating that my account would be serviced until February of 2024. This complete 180 put me in a great deal of financial strain as I had budgeted for Tally to pay my credit card payments that were due on 12/1/23, just like they had done for the last 26 MONTHS!
To COMPLETELY leave your customers high and dry like this should be CRIMINAL! I made every single payment, for 26 months, on time, and in full, often paying the app's "recommended" amount and this is how I'm treated!?
Maybe your CEO shouldn't take a multimillion-dollar bonus this year to pay for this mess. My credit card payment was now late, as I scrambled to change my budget, and I'm still recovering from the snowball effect this had on my finances two months later.
This is an absolute breach of contract and I will without a doubt, be joining the class action lawsuit that is sure to come. Oh, and to whatever Tally employee is stuck reading/replying to reviews, don't bother. Save me your copy-and-paste BS reply that doesn't address nor fix the problem. Shame on you all.

On 11/29/23 Tally sent an email to their customers explaining that they'd no longer pay cards from the credit line immediately, due to losing investor funding. But, you are still required to pay them back just the same. So instead of reducing debt, Tally has now increased debt. Don't blame your investors, and take some responsibility for this! You should at least reduce the amount due to your company, or reduce payments, do something to help the folks you have added an extra burden to.

It used to be great but it is terrible now with high interest rate. My interest rate increased exponentially that it defeats the purpose if having Tally. It is definitely not the lowest APR like it claims. In addition, you cannot update any personal info like mailing address, email etc on its app. The customer service is also not helpful. Stay away!!!

I loved it for 2.5 years, now they can't help me anymore with no fault of my own
I got an email earlier this month, after being a customer for about 2.5 years, that the bank they had my loan through is no longer able to fund it, it has nothing to do with my current standing at Tally and they are still asking for the same amount payment. NOT OK. They don't have another bank to get it from? I see you can still sign up as a NEW Tally customer, so why can't they transfer mine to a different bank or whatever? No assistance has been offered.

Tally stopped paying for my credit…
Tally stopped paying my credit cards. This happened right before Christmas and my son’s 5th birthday. I paid for most of my bill and received an email stating that they will no longer pay for my credit cards. This put me in a financial crisis. I do not recommend Tally to anyone. The fact that they chose to do this before the holidays, shows how much they care about their customers. I’m a disabled veteran who’s already overwhelmed with stress during the holidays and Tally definitely made my life worse.

It’s a scam
It’s a scam. Please don’t use them. They lost an investor and on November 29th, 2023, sent an email to thousands of Tally customers that they won’t be paying the credit cards off anymore, with immediate effect - leaving all of us with a forced loan at 25.24%! They charge $300 yearly membership to give you access to lower rates, and their rate is higher than my credit cards!
Communication with them is terrible, they are blaming all on the investor and not taking any responsibility. They are not transparent. Don’t trust them. They use people in vulnerable situation. Stay away.

Tally is great for a few but very important things, no hard inquiries to see your credit line and the ability to pay for a better APR and my favorite is not reporting your line to the credit bureaus, if they did you’d lose valuable credit score points on the added utilization. Once you pay tally back, your line of credit is right there for use again 💪🏽. I will forever be a tally customer even without debt they still come in very handy if you know how to use them. My 17.9% interest rate allows me to keep my higher rate cards at bay 👌

HORRIBLE COMPANY. No longer paying off my other credit cards. Now responsible for my old cards plus a new credit line (Tally) which is my highest APR of all my credit cards, imagine that. Not to mention, even when they were "working", they do not truly consolidate as they cannot gather information from most cards. False advertising, misleading garbage!

got an email that the investor had pulled out, 4 days before my cards were due and effective immediately they wouldn’t be paying the cards - the whole reason I got Tally was to consolidate credit gate payments and now I have 3 payments instead of the 2 I had. They said they couldn’t transfer my account and basically I was screwed. Truly awful, do not use.
