No brainer. As easy as Typeform but only a fraction of the price. I'm not switching back ever. One thing I'd like is the ability to export a specific submission as a .csv rather than the entire thing. I know it's a bit weird but it would fit one of my use cases.

Felt like I was overpaying on Typeform so I went to find an alternative. So glad I found this. It's sooo easy to use but also very flexible. Had to take the pro plan so that I can host on my domain.

This is by far my favorite form builder. It's powerful but still easy and cheap. Honestly I don't get the bad ratings other people gave. Been using it for years.

I’ve tested a lot of form builders, but Tally.so is easily one of the most underwhelming experiences I’ve had lately. I came with high expectations based on the hype, but I’m leaving after just a few minutes of frustration.

The interface feels clunky and unintuitive, trying so hard to be "minimalist" that it forgets to be actually functional. Basic features feel hidden or poorly implemented, and the overall workflow is jarring. It lacks the polish and reliability you’d expect from a tool that handles data collection.

If you’re looking for a professional, seamless form-building experience, save your time and look elsewhere. I came to give it a fair shot, but I’m leaving for good. Truly a "blink and you'll uninstall" kind of product.

Yo por lo menos pasé de TypeForms a Tally desde el 2022-2023, y llevo una alegría muy grande con ellos.

Tally is the best platform ever. Super easy to use, smooth, direct integration. What I love the most about this company is that every month there is a new update and the platform gets cooler and cooler.

I'm excited for when they'll roll out different thank you pages and different redirects and direct integration with Calendars such as Calendly.

Tally makes creating forms so easy! Whether you're starting form scratch or using a template builder. Always recommend them. Been using them for around 6 months!

The design is nice and the customer support is quick and friendly.
Unfortunately the product is very complicated and cannot do quiz funnels, which I only realized after building a funnel from scratch for many hours.
One of the support members told me it would work. But later all the other support members told me it could not work and that tally.so is not able to build a quiz funnel with different questions as endings of the funnel. There can only be one final question per funnel.

J'ai découvert Tally il y a désormais 2 ans et cet outil ne cesse de s'améliorer au fil des mois. Il me sert de manière régulière pour l'ensemble de mes projets personnels.

J'ai également accès au Tally Pro qui est légèrement onéreux (d'où la perte d'étoile) mais qui reste néanmoins très utile et permet une personnalisation complète et personnalisée de son formulaire.

Autre petit bémol, le site n'est disponible qu'en anglais mais reste néanmoins intuitif et le support plutôt réactif et compréhensif. Tally est un outil qui s'améliore constamment et qui ne cesse de m'étonner.

It's a nightmare. This thing is not user-friendly. It starts off on a free plan, but after using it, I'm not encouraged to spend a penny on this.

Tally grossly oversells it's features. Worse, you can't try out its features without purchasing & then has a zero refund policy once you try it and figure out that it can't do what you need it to do. It's only a robust form creation product if you have zero knowledge or experience building robust forms. The ability to create brand aligned formatting conditional logic, and varied response types is quite limited for a "pro" product. I was able to create a more robust form using simple css/html code (and I'm not a coder). You can find better products by companies that will stand behind their product with a true satisfaction guarantee and refund policy - stay away!

A great form builder with a very rich range of free features. At this point, it's by far the best option on the market—beats Google Forms tenfold.

It is great. loved my experience with them. They do have amazing free features, I highly recommend for small businesses, and their fair monthly pricing for pro is much more interesting than leading competitors. The text editing can be a little clunky at times, but it did not cost me much time to fix little editing mistakes.

You know how some things just look too good to be true? That's how I felt when I first discovered Tally. A fully featured form builder with virtually everything you'll ever need, totally free as long as you don't repeatedly go over 50,000 submissions a month?
YES. 50k.
It's not too good to be true - in fact if anything the truth is better. The interface is easy to learn and works well, there's a comprehensive range of options and features and the logic is easy to implement and manipulate. My first project involved a relatively short event booking form but with dozens of different potential routes through, starting with 11 different types of events, all of which required different combinations of info to be gathered.
The end result is slick, responsive (it looks great on mobile) wastes nobody's time with irrelevant questions and gets us everything we need.
You'd be happy with that most of the time wouldn't you?
How about if you could export the data (even each individual response as it lands) to Google forms or any one of a bunch of other apps? My collected data goes to google forms where it is transposed into a simple plain text document that lists all the relevant info and is emailed automatically to everyone who needs that info.

What you can't do with the free version of Tally is heavily customise the branding. Choose between light or dark themes, add a banner and logo, let the form do the talking. If you want a custom background and fancy CSS for free, get a server, learn Python and write your own software.
But even that won't necessarily get you top customer service when you need it. When I did have an issue with the Tally editor, I got a response from their support team within the hour.

Tally's business model seems to be to provide pretty much everything for free to encourage heavy users to adopt it, and then charge appropriately for enterprise scale solutions. Most of the competition won't even publish a price for over 50,000 submissions a month: Tally won't charge you for less than 50,000. Go figure.

It's a bold strategy, to promote a great product, but don't just take my word for it...

Re-fund policy is super strict, even after trying the software for a couple of days, and no submissions of other people besides myself, no re-fund was issued.

One of the best form services with some minor flaws. This form service is great and has a great editor that is easily my favorite, however the way it does logic is a little annoying, and the file upload limit on the free plan is rather small, but for most tasks is enough. Overall, I think this is a great service with some flaws. I would also love to see a signature feature, but these are minor flaws that makes Tally one of the 3 only form services I use along with Fillout and Google Forms.
