Absolutely appalling experience with GetApps on my Xiaomi phone. I repeatedly turn off notifications, and it just turns them back on again without my consent. It even re-adds itself to my home... Toon meer

Ordered a phone on 15/12/25 supposed to have been delivered on 17/12/25, still not received on 22/12/25. Back and forth with DPD and Xiaomi, still no resolution to get this phone delivered before Christmas as it's a gift. Taken my money but not received the phone, would not send out a replacement. Terrible customer service no one can give you a resolution.

Ordered 2 items from Xiaomi UK website, one delivered safely, and the other one just dropped to my garden without any notice, and finally the item went missing. I didn't know the item was delivered to my garden until I contacted their customer service after 7 days. Xiaomi did the investigation and said Royalmail refused the compensation and Xiaomi either. If I want to escalate the case to their headquarter, I need to report the case to UK police and get the report number, then submit to Xiaomi for escalation. What a joke. Xiaomi, never again!

They sneak adverts everywhere, even inside your own photos and videos.
It's really annoying and very intrusive.
I really don't recommend - The phone is 'basic' and on top you have to deal with more ads than we already have to deal with in general.

bought a Xiaomi 14 Ultra from an authorised Xiaomi Store outside the UK but Xiaomi clearly advertise that this model has an International Warranty that can be repaired in participating markets including the UK.
BUT Xiaomi UK repeatedly told me the opposite saying there is no international warranty at first then they said my IMEI is not local and they cannot help. EVEN THOUGH Xiaomi Global have now confirmed in writing that my phone IS fully covered under the International Warranty for the 14 Ultra which proves the information from Xiaomi UK was wrong.
Even after this confirmation, Xiaomi UK still refuse to process the repair and continue to ignore their own official wording policy. This is a major breach of consumer rights and trading Standards is handling of my case raises serious concerns about accuracy and consumer protection.

Purchased directly from Xiaomi’s online store and requested a return and refund for a faulty device just a week after purchase. It has now been over six weeks, and despite multiple emails and follow-ups, I still haven’t received my refund. The entire process has been incredibly slow and frustrating. Courier never delivered my parcel, provided no evidence of it being delivered. Both Xiaomi and DPD were closed as the apparent delivery happened in the evening whilst i was home waiting. I don't blame them for the issues with the courier, that is down to DPD, but i do have massive concerns with how they have dealt with my problem. tried contacting DPD who refused to deal with me as Xiaomi are the ones with the contract with them.
I contacted Xiaomi via the contact number of the delivery email they sent me, i was welcomed by "our number has changed" so i called up the new number and got welcomed by a message stating that this number is not in use and if you have been given it, then it's most likely linked to fraud.
This immediately gave me RED flags, what company have i purchased a phone from.
After going through the website i found a different number.
The person on the phone stated it would take no more than 2 working days for the logistics team to investigate and come back with a resolution. It has now been 4 working days and 6 calendar days. I've asked for an update and had nothing. I'm currently out of pocket for a new phone and have no phone.
I'm not happy at all and based on this experience doubt i would buy another phone from them.I love their devices, i got this for my sons xmas present, so whilst there is time to resolve the issue, the way it's been handled has been shocking.

I wrote a good review for Xiaomi when I bought a phone ont tinterweb from Hong Kong promising to write another after a while, whether good or bad.
Had no issues with the phone really except when on a call, can't access the internet (all the power goes to keeping a good phone connection). The method recommended didn't work so contacted Xiaomi in this country and they made an attempt to help, but once they found I didn't buy the phone in the UK, dropped me like a ton of bricks (not their responsibility I suppose). Not good for the company name. And the battery first lasted 60 hours with moderate use, but now only about 24, altho a few years old now .

Never engaged with such a poor standard of customer service.
Mainly AI generated responses, which all seemed to guarantee me "rest assured".
Darvin, Raj, Mia, Ammar, and not forgetting good old Caleb, a person who's customer service is on a par with employing Fred West to build you a patio.
Complete disgrace and disregard for customers and consumer rights, breached data protection and continued to do so because the AI software simply genrerated "rest assured" answers.
I wouldn't buy an AA battery from them, let alone a device.
So many areas of failure,it would take longer than reading War & Peace to review the entire incompetence and guidelines they breached.

I recently purchased a brand new phone from Xiaomi, I switched from a different phone to take up an offer from this company, this included a rebate for my old phone(paid by a 3rd party company called recommerce + a 150 GBP payment from Xiaomi, when I sent my old device to recommerce, they came back and offered 0 GBP for my old working device, I was originally offered 52 GBP plus the 150 GBP from Xiaomi, I did not think the offer of 0 GBP was a fair offer from Recommerce, I contacted Xiaomi and asked what are my options, they said I would still receive the 150 GBP from them past the 14 day cooling off period from when I received the new phone in writing via email received 9th October, time went way past the 14 days, and I did not receive the 150 GBP payment from Xiaomi, I contacted them via their chat function, they said almost one month after that i would not receive the 150 GBP payment because I had rejected the new " O" gbp payment from recommerce. At no point, did anyone from Xiaomi prior to me rejecting the "O" offer tell me clearly or concisely that " If I rejected the 0 gbp offer from the 3rd party company on my old phone, I would not receive the 150 GBP payment from Xiaomi. I spoke with them several times and also opened a resolver case to try to find a good outcome for me. As a new customer, I felt very badly treated by this company, addtionally the inconsistencies between the way their agents communicated with me were very alarming, it showed a distinct lack of training and also no real interest in helping out the customer. To add further to the many challenges, during email communications with their customer service Team, they used the same template to reply to me, despite me asking different questions, also I had asked a few times for copies of my chats with them online, strange they could access them, but could not share with me? also to note, I could not download the chats as evidence. To add further note, I had tested some emails with their customer service and they were using AI to reply to me, one reply called me a " Cretin"
I made the switch to this company from another phone company, as a new customer I have never been treated this badly in my life and I feel very cheated, given I signed up for their new offer in good faith and I feel they tricked me to avoid fully paying me what I signed up for...

Bought a 32” TV on 29th October. Still haven’t received it. Tried Communicating with Xiaomu Uk and Evri who are supposed to be delivering the TV. It’s a chat bot at Evri and they say it’s lost and can’t speak to anybody at Xiaomi UK. Very frustrating and dissatisfied!!!

Every one beware if you have problems
I purchased a Xiaomi 15 Ultra earlier this year and reported a fault in July, well within the 6-month statutory period under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Xiaomi delayed sending a return bag until October 30th, when i sent them the device the very next day first they claimed i sent them a power bank instead, then claimed it was actually a charger and they had verified it .faced with overwhelming evidence i had when police was mentioned they accepted they actually had the device.
by this time I had already sent them a legal document since they breached my statutory and consumer rights pursuant to the consumer rights act 2015 ,but the support team is either utterly incompetent and unable to read English but most likely ignoring this fact
refused a refund/replacement citing their own T&Cs (14-day return, 30-day replacement) which is irrelevant under the consumer rights act under as this act supercedes retailer/ manufacturer terms & conditions, and returned my device scratched. Their latest excuse? Claiming the lifted screen protector, which they damaged during repair, is “not their responsibility.”
Under UK law, company policies do not override statutory rights. Repairs must be carried out without causing additional damage. Xiaomi has ignored this repeatedly. as they have breached the statutory notice sent under the law. xiaomi needs to learn that they are selling in the, uk under The UK law, thi is the second time i have had to fight to get a faulty device sorted out one would think in 2+ years they would have learned
I have escalated this to Trading Standards, the Consumer Ombudsman, and i am proceeding with a Small Claims Court claim. im seeing this through to the end out of principle.

Well this must be a first for me… I can’t even place an order. It either tells me my email address is insecure and won’t open up an account, or it doesn’t send a verification code to my phone. Either way I can’t get past the Account screen to place my order. Having read the reviews, I think I have dodged a bullet!

I placed 10 or so orders with this company for myself and family over the last year, including 2 x MIX Flip phones and 2 x latest 15T phones. I was always delighted with their service and would not have hesitated to recommend them. Unfortunately my last order was for a REDMI Pad 2 Pro tablet and it had a dead pixel on arrival. Although Xiaomi advertise easy returns it was anything but. The start a return link on the website did not work. When I messaged them to request a return I was asked to provide my full name, address, proof or purchase etc, despite having provided the order number. I received a free keyboard with the tablet and had to send back the tablet and keyboard separately, despite having received them in the same box. It took multiple emails before I eventually received my refund. I asked to escalate my complaint, but heard nothing. I will never use them again. They are fine unless something goes wrong, then it is tortuous trying to get a refund.
Update: In reply to my review Xiaomi expressed a desire to look into this further, if I provided additional info, which I did via Trustpilot over 2 weeks ago. I have had no further contact from Xiaomi, so it was clearly just a cynical ploy to appear to want to address the poor service, when actually they never really intended to do anything. So I have decreased my rating from 2 to 1 stars.

The issue that I have experienced was: I have purchased a phone Xiaomi 15t pro from Xiaomi UK I
paid £703 and it included a tablet and a charger. It also included a trading phone with a £150 bonus
on top of the trading price.
I returned the phone within the 14 days and also the free gifts unopened and I contacted them to
return the phone I sent for trading they said it's a third party company that deals with the trading and I
should contact them to get the phone returned but when I contacted trading company they didn't want
to return it.
When Xiaomi refunded me they deducted £150 from my refund. I contacted their customer services
but refused to help
I even contacted XIAOMI via Resolver but they do not want to solve the problem. So now I ended up trading a nearly brand new phone worth £200 for £31. This is a rip off from Xiaomi. They use apparently a French company who refused to return the phone even when I contacted them before they receive the phone.

They brought China in the UK. The way of their working is like they are scanners. I regretfully bought a phone and there was a trade in. I sent my device. They waited me to forget it. After I followed up, they gave a new value for the phone which can make douboe of it. They were just playing games

Well, to start from I have to admit that I was a big fan of Xiaomi smartphones and had them for years.
Recently decided to upgrade to Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro- not going to go into details, but decided to return it as it wasn't good as I was expecting.
Started return process on 24.09.25 and so far (30.10.25)- still haven't received a refund.
Xiaomi decided that I have to send everything in separate bags (3 items in total)- but they sent to me only 2 bags?? So took some time to figure out how to send everything separately and how to get the 3rd bag.
Finally managed to post back to them on 15.10.25- as you will get ONLY 1 response in 24h.
Xiaomi received the goods on 16.10 and up to now they are testing, finalising, then some SBE got involved.
I have been told by one of their colleagues that after receiving the device a refund will be issued in 3 working days. So far over 2 weeks and nothing was done. Couple a days ago I had a confirmation that my device was tested and excepted, but today I was told that it WASN'T. Asking for a time frame- also doesn't help, as every time different person will reply with a different excuse, BUT they will always add ''Rest assured I will do my best to help you with this concern.''
So over two weeks chasing them and slowly loosing hope in such a good brand (well was ....)
I can't get my head around what they can/ have to check for over two weeks?
