Awful returns policy and service, you have to send back each item separately even though they are all delivered together my Items have been tracked and received over a week ago and are apparently still in inspection according to online chat! And nowhere does it tell me what status my return is at.... avoid at all costs.

I was disappointed with my new phones camera performance ( Redmi note 14 pro 5G ) compared with my old note 10 pro, that's 4 years old, so I returned it within the 14 day return policy.
Poor camera quality compared with my note 10 pro phone. This upgrade to the note 14 pro 5G has unfortunately been a regression rather than an improvement in my smartphone photography experience.
Photos lack depth and clarity, only sharp at foot of photo.
Yes, it was time consuming returning the phone ensuring that I followed the procedures precisely but after 8 working days I received a full refund.
Thanks Xiaomi for excellent service, no problems experienced here!

Xiaomi consumer service is a tragedy. Vicious circle, they take people to wait. I've been waiting for a solution to the problem for ten days. No return after reporting defective goods. The website is made to deceive. I have already reported my problem to the institution of consumer rights. As much as I respected this manufacturer Xiaomi, now I recommend it to no one. In the event of defective goods, It is not a possible exchange or the possibility of returning the goods within 14 days from the date of purchase. I don't recommend buying from Xiaomi UK.

It is strange for me that I had to report my case to other consumer rights entities. I recommend too read the terms and conditions of the contract and customers reviews carefully before you buy goods from Xiaomi UK.

I am writing this review to warn potential buyers about Xiaomi's complete failure to honour its warranty and stand behind its products.
I purchased a Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20+. After normal use, the castor wheel assembly broke, rendering the device useless. Upon researching online, I found this to be a common, widespread issue with this model, clearly indicating a manufacturing or design flaw.
I initiated a warranty claim, fully expecting the defect to be covered. The process that followed was incredibly frustrating:
1. False Hope: I was advised by customer service to send the vacuum in for assessment, with the implication that the issue would be fairly reviewed.
2. Warranty Wrongly Denied: Despite providing evidence of this being a known defect, Xiaomi's repair centre (SBE Cordon Group) rejected the claim, falsely classifying it as "physical damage" and demanding a payment of £73.93 to fix their own faulty product.
3. Ignored Evidence: My formal complaint and escalation were completely ignored. I highlighted that the user was a 79-year-old who could not have caused the alleged "damage," and referenced numerous other users with the identical problem. My evidence was dismissed without proper investigation.
4. Held to Ransom: With my device held hostage at their repair centre, I was left with no choice but to pay the unjust fee to get it back. I was effectively forced to pay to fix a manufacturing defect that was Xiaomi's responsibility.
Conclusion: Xiaomi sells products with inherent flaws and then abandons its customers when those flaws materialize. Their warranty is not worth the paper it's written on. They will find any excuse, no matter how illogical, to avoid their legal obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Do not make the same mistake I did. Spend your money with a company that has reputable customer service and stands by the quality of its products. I am now pursuing a consumer rights claim against them to recover my costs.

I have been waiting for my activity watch since 11th September and have received a succession of “we’re looking into it” mails from the company. I have now decided I want a refund because I have lost confidence in the company but they still just “bat me away”. What can I do?

Explained when broke and Sha just repeating 30 days policy. For bad manufacturing and fails after 29 days their policy is very sour. Their customers experience surveys link doesn't work either. Deliberately would be my guess. Xiaomi had good service but Sha customer service bot has shown no more. Wouldn't use brand again.

I had bought a Xiaomi E-scooter 4 pro a while ago but recently got a puncture, So I contacted support to see if they have the OEM version as it wasn't readily available online.
First I had to find the live chat deep inside of xiaomis website to then be greeted by a bot which was useless and then be able to talk to a real human.
The technician was quite uneducated about the e-scooter and I had to repeatedly ask him to look into their stock to see if they have any, which they didn't and just refered me to amazon.

We bought a Xiaomi Poco X7 phone in April 2025. Due to unforseen circumstances we only started using the phone in August 2025. Without warning the phone stops receiving calls, and will not call out until it is rebooted. Whilst making or receiving a call it also continually drops the call. Clearly this means the phone was faulty on receipt. I understand it is outside the normal return period, but it should make no difference, the phone was faulty from new. Xiaomi have been most unhelpful, and we have had to go through a number of tests to see if it was the sim or other faults. We have done this and every time it points to a brand new faulty phone. We want our money back.

On contacting Xiamoi UK they said that a jiffy bag will be sent to return item for repair/replace, after over a month of contacting and their replys appear cut and paste and still no jiffy bag received to return. I ordered a phone M7 on the Mi app. I received no tracking so telephoned. The first operator took all details then stated he was Australia support and asked me to call the number I had just called. Second operator advised my order was a preorder and there was a delay to dispatch. I asked to cancel the order. Vague information about how or when a refund would be processed. No contact and the phone was then sent but recalled as cancelled so no delivery. Several emails later I have only vague responses about escalation. I bought wireless headphones from the official website, after about a month and a half one of the headphones began to discharge after 5 minutes. I tried to return / replace the headphones through the official website, they said that it was impossible, 30 days have passed since the date of purchase. I returned a faulty phone on 19 August after raising the issue on 22 July. Xiaomi’s returns process was contradictory and confusing. After finally sending the device, I was told the request was cancelled, despite being within their stated 30-day window.
After escalating via chat, I was promised urgency. Two days later, still no tracking, no phone. I travel in less than 2 working days and cannot afford further delay. Today’s chat ended with vague assurances and no resolution.
Xiaomi UK needs to take responsibility. I’ve had to chase every step. Their support is slow, vague, and unaccountable.

I purchased the Xiaomi Watch 2 from MI.com and was initially pleased with its features. However, after just two months of normal use, the touchscreen started malfunctioning—becoming partially unresponsive and erratic.
I contacted MI.com customer service, hoping for support under warranty, but was shocked by their response. Instead of investigating the issue properly, they claimed I must have damaged the watch and insisted I pay for repairs. I was sold a faulty product, and they refused to take responsibility, implying it was my fault without any evidence.
The customer service was dismissive and unhelpful throughout the process. I expected better from a brand like Xiaomi. I won’t be buying from MI.com again and strongly advise others to be cautious.

Customer service is appalling. They will ask you for loads of information then tell you they can't help.
If you buy a Xiaomi product then expect to throw it away if it breaks down because you won't get warranty.
They actually told me my pho wasn't purchased through an authorised reseller despite the fact I sent them a copy of the receipt from Xiaomi UK lol
