Beware of Midshire Telecoms - Unfair Practices and Hidden Costs
I regret to say that my experience with Midshire Telecoms has been far from satisfactory. The company not only charges exorbitant fees for their services, but they also engage in questionable practices.
Firstly, when we attempted to cancel our contract, they informed us that it had been automatically renewed, and we couldn't cancel mid-contract. This came as a surprise to us, as we were not properly informed about this automatic renewal.
Moreover, they increased their prices in the middle of our contract. Apparently, they have a clause in the contract that allows them to raise their prices whenever they want. This lack of transparency and sudden price increase left us feeling blindsided.
When we requested to change the direct debit to our other company, Midshire Telecoms demanded a £150 admin fee for this simple process. This fee seems excessive and unreasonable.
To make matters worse, they started charging us an additional £18.99 plus VAT for a "SafeWeb" feature that we never asked for. This unrequested addition to our bill further demonstrates the company's lack of integrity and customer consideration.
In light of these experiences, I strongly advise potential customers to stay away from Midshire Telecoms. Their business practices are unfair, and their hidden costs can lead to financial strain for unsuspecting clients.

Oustanding service as always by Sally & Adam a real credit to Midshire and indeed there industry. You wont find more dedicated people that ensure you have exactly what you want - Would highly recommend!

Choose wisely. Finally took the leap to upgrade phone system. I was very clear what I wanted , like for like systems, no changes. After installation complained that the new system had several errors. Took around 4 months to get a response to be told that the sales guy had left and they werent sure what had been agreed. Offered to make changes, at an additional expense! To add insult, the new sales guy contacts me telling me how great they are and asking me if I want an upgrade!?! literally 4 months into my contract!
Very dissapointed.
Been with this company for 2 months and our internet speed on wifi has never been over 10mbs. Most of the time it's around 3mbs. Huge delay in comms with them and now they are saying its a wifi issue and want us to pay £100 to upgrade to their router even though the original router is theirs!
Apparently this happens a lot from ISP's.
Service is not fit for purpose.
Its also embarrassing as my wife is the Covid vaccination lead and frequently has zoom calls with senior NHS and government officials and has to go outside and use her phone as our internet is so poor.

Everything is sorted now, took longer than expected but they are always here to pick up your calls and emails. Very happy with their after sales services so far.

Great from start to finish.
Midshire have been really good from start to finish. The quote we got was competitive and Arash was really friendly. We had good communication with him and Adam once we'd decided to sign up to the service, both were very helpful and quick to answer questions or concerns we had. The process of installing the telecom system and porting our phone number was very simple - a huge improvement on our previous analogue phone system. Would definitely recommend.

Had an urgent issue with power supply at our site so had to get the phone system diverted immediately.
Justin, Richard & Adam were incredible, very quick to respond, highly professional and service level was just what you would expect from Midshire.

Amazing engineer
We have recently upgraded our telephone system and whilst not without it's issues because we as a company wanted it to have specific requirements the engineer Phil was amazing. He listened to what we wanted and built everything to that. He was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. He is a real credit to the company. Unfortunately the sales team are not professional at all. A lack of communication from them left me waiting for an engineer to turn up only for me to have to chase them and be told they weren't coming. Emails between Sam and Stephen were left unanswered and I am now being copied into emails calling me 'mate' 5 stars for Phil but certainly less for sales.

Exceptional service from start to finish, very well informed throughout the whole process, We have had a couple of bad experiences in the past so was very apprehensive about switching but Saleem, Adam and the team made it a seem less operation. Thank you Midshire we're very pleased with our new system please keep up the good work.
