This company is a scam! The website advertised based in Manchester, it’s based in china, and says it’s easy to return. It is not, costs £25 to return. Items look nothing like the pictures. I’ve reported to facebook where I saw the advert, and it’s now been removed, I got a refund through my bank, although they tired to dispute this. Should be reported to Trading standards as it’s false advertising

or A message from “Jack”this looks like Drop Shipping from China ..

Drop shipping means a person or so called company can order for themselves anywhere in the world in this case a Chinese company such as Temu- Shein- AliExpress etc and they order a product and instruct
“ The Chinese Company”to ship there order direct to you..
I believe that this company does that!

Goods arrive eventually and if you’re not satisfied you are able to return the goods ( this is the clever bit) at YOUR cost of return shipping to China ONLY at an estimated cost of around £25. So your £29.95 goes down to £4.95 if you ever get it back!

You cannot ship back to anyone in the UK..

we received the sad looking Dress the cheapest quality material and so poorly made threads hanging off seams a puckered stitching. A Big Square Dress ( bit like a child drawing a dress)
No Style at all.

cannot even use it for a cleaning cloth..
To be fair to
Milford- Manchester they offered to send another Dress the quality was absolutely rubbish . I don’t need 2 cleaning cloths.

Advertises as a UK based company but appears to be Chinese. Return address states it is from England but can only return to China. Since noticed the item they are advertising is the same picture as Mint Velvet.
THIS IS A SCAM - AVOID

I love the style and fit but not so keen on the fabric. Would have preferred a cotton jersey.
I thought my purchase was coming from Manchester but it was despatched from China and took over a week to arrive. Otherwise a very good purchase.

Returns policy is appalling, charging £25 for a return that the customer has to pay, for something that cost £30 in the first place, do not buy from them

DO NOT BUY ITS A SCAM!!!! Clothes arrive looking nothing like photos, it’s not Manchester it’s China! They offer no return, gives u 30% of item and tells you to keep the hideous item that’s only fit for the bin!!! Facebook stop these Scammers!!!😡😡😡

I placed an order with this company believing they were in Manchester. When dispatch email was received it was obvious the items were coming from China. The items went to various places in China, then UK, various parts of the UK before delivery was received. The items are small in size - having now looked it could cost £25 to return the items as they need to be returned to China. I wish I had looked at Truspilot before making the purchase. I will certainly never use Milford Manchester again and would advise other purchasers to be very wary.
Have just noticed another company Hughes-Manchester whose website looks identical. Also seems to have bad reviews.

Awful. The dress I ordered was meant to be red pattern and long. It has come with an elastic waist in a bright pink colour and just below the knee The material is awful as thin as paper. Gutted I didn’t check the reviews before wasting money I don’t have on clothing that looks nothing like on the website

Sadly like many others I did not check reviews before ordering. Dress looks nothing like the pictures, delivery took ages and returns are not possible as items need to go back to China at your own expense (around £25). I now have an oversized dress that exactly resembles the ones my kids wore to primary school in a terrible, cheap, plasticky fabric. You live and learn…

Ordered a dress - didn’t realise it was coming from China initially.
In the phot the dress looks like a denim chambray.
What i received looked like a school summer dress. the material was nothing like the expectation.
Again - the price was too good to be true for what was being offered. I am sure the dress i received would have cost less than 5 pounds to make

Lovely shoes but they dig into my toes a little. Delivery was longer than I expected but it easvfine

Plenty of updates and personal contact through Customer Service.
I was slightly surprised to find out that the item ordered was coming from China, when I thought I had ordered from a UK company, however the item arrived safely if later than I originally anticipated.

Dress I purchased looked nothing like the advertised one, material cheap, poorly made and came from China. Don’t be fooled into purchasing from this business with the plush stock photos on their website.

Fast delivery, easy to order. Lovely material, soft feel fits well. Thank you.

Just feel stupid for getting sucked in to see a Facebook advert for comfy walking sandals,checked first on google and company seemed legitimate.
However checking again found awful reviews tried to cancel but could not. Sandals arrived very poor quality just cheap rubbish so please don’t get sucked into ordering from this scam firm.

They are not the family firm in Manchester they say they are but a 'company' in China. I ordered a 'Tote Bag' from them back in June. They insist that I ordered 2 bags as one was on offer., which I did not. When the bags was eventually delivered (from China) the 2 bags were awful & I asked to return them. I was told I would have to pay a shipping cost to return them. I refused . The bank refunded me & I gave the bags to a charity shop.
Now nearly 3months later they are hounding me insisting I owe them over £55 & if I dont pay they will send Bailiffs round to me ! I am 87 yrs old and dont need all this stress.
