I am very happy with Mixam
I am very happy with Mixam. They helped me create a magazine that has been on my to do list for quite some time now. I found plenty of options for books but couldn’t find magazine options till recently. The ability to both bulk order and to also have the option to send people to a website where they can order a copy to be sent directly to there doorstep once I sell out is great.
I plan to do a monthly magazine for as long I can

Pros and Cons
The software to upload and form the book was relatively intuitive, though it took me a moment to understand content upload order. The books arrived within about two weeks from the time the order was placed. The quality was very high - the book "felt" good in my hands, and looked good, too. However, there were some issue with printing. Despite the specific spine width instruction, there remained a line on one side that was not there in the preview. Moreover, my print failed to include the last seven pages of my book (I did ask about this during the confirmation phone call which Mixam offers - and they confirmed all pages in the uploaded file would be printed. They were not). This was dissappointing. Granted, I only printed 5 review copies for colleagues to read and make suggestions from. So, I had to manually print the extra pages and attempt to glue them into an already printed book. Nevertheless, I can say Mixam was far easier to navigate than other online book printing vendors I tried (and I tried a few of them), and they offered a much fairer price. Pros and Cons.

We are sorry if there was any misunderstanding along the way. We always want to make sure everything is as clear as possible, especially during such an important project. It’s really important to double check the preview and individual page images before confirming, as these show exactly what will be included in print. While we may have advised that everything visible in the preview would be printed, if there were additional pages in your file beyond what was selected or shown during setup, those unfortunately wouldn’t come through to us for checking or production.
That said, We are really glad to hear you found the platform intuitive overall and that you were happy with the look and feel of the final books, that means a lot.
