Today, July 5, 2026, EVERY game is blacked out due to a deal with Paramount and NBC Sports. EVERY GAME. This is crazy for a subscription service. Also, so far this season I've had MLBTV system problems 3 times that blacked out games that required me to contact customer support for resolution. I can't believe EVERY game is blacked out today - so much for taking care of subscribers.

MLB.TV has gotten progressively worse over the last 4 years. At first they stopped showing the shows from MLB channel in exchange for 20 second "click bait" clips. And now as of July 5, 2026 I can't even watch any baseball game because they've been blacked out and sold to private airing. If you pay $200 a year (per account) you should be able to watch a game on a Sunday. It's pathetic, it's cheap and I am DONE. Thanks for killing something so innocent Manfred, I'm done.

ESPN and MLB have baseball fans by the short-hairs. They market their regular season plan as being able to watch every single game, but this is false. They have an agreement with AppleTV to broadcast Friday night games, and with Peacock to broadcast others, blacking out MLBTV. Also, the feed is very inconsistent for out of market fans. I am watching a game right now being broadcasted from New York City, and the feed is interrupted about every 4-5 minutes because there is a thunderstorm in my area right now.
If I didn’t love my team so much, I would scrap this whole experience as yet another example of corporate greed by a select oligarchal few who, outside of their own self interests, do not care about anyone else.

Bought Dback tv and every game has either been on a blackout or on another channel such as Apple TV. What a waste of money. Will never buy again.

When purchasing MLB they tell you you will get all out of network games that turns out to be bullshit. Part of the games are on Apple TV another part are on FUBO network. So unless you want 3 different subscriptions you can't get all out if network games. Don't believe the adds from MLB they lie. Never again will I get MLB.

This was a rip-off. Every time you get a day off to watch a game, it is blacked out for one reason or another. First, you have to buy Apple TV; next time, you have to buy ESPN plus; next time, it's only on local tv (of which there are none.

It's so frustrating you can pay a player 50 million dollars, but you can't let us watch the games we paid for.

MLB streaming after the 6-7 inning is terrible. Audio way ahead of video over so many games. Last season I will pay
for terrible service. (With fast ISP). Switching to PGA.

Hate it when they put 4 games on the screen

The most difficult tv app to use! Tuning in to watch a game in progress but MLB makes you maneuver through the pregame BS!!! By the time we get to the live game 2 more innings have gone by. STUPID! We’re never renewing this crap

ADRIANA was excellent at helping me yesterday. I suffer from a movement disorder and she was awesome helping get through registration process. It's great to deal with good people.

I would give it no stars if I could. Never starts up the first attempt. Have to restart my streaming device every time. One night we were forced to go to ESPN to watch and if we didn’t have a subscription through HULU, we would not have seen it. Why are we paying for such a poor app? Love the Mariners, hate the MLB APP

Can I give it a 0/5? Textbook example of what’s wrong with monopolies. I can’t watch games unless I buy local cable so I buy mlbtv to watch my home team in my home and it won’t let me watch on my smart tv as it blocks casting and doesn’t make the app available on the LG system. POS

I have been an MLB.TV customer for over five years, and I have to say that moving portions of the viewing experience to ESPN has been one of the worst decisions MLB has made from a fan's perspective.

Every time I try to log in and watch a game, I have to jump through multiple hoops just to access content that I already pay for. The login process is confusing, inconsistent, and far more difficult than it should be.

What makes matters even worse is the lack of customer support. When there is a problem, there is no easy way to speak with a live person and get it resolved. For a service that costs me $149 per year, that's unacceptable.

I've been a loyal customer because I love baseball and enjoy following my team regularly. Instead, the current experience has become so frustrating that I find myself losing interest in watching games altogether. Frankly, this change has pushed me closer to attending games in person rather than paying for a streaming service that is increasingly difficult to use.

MLB.TV used to be simple, reliable, and fan-friendly. The current setup feels like a step backward.

I hope MLB takes customer feedback seriously and works to improve the viewing and login experience before more loyal fans decide to walk away.

They need to put some ketchup on the hot dog shown in the commercial between innings. It's all mustard now.

Total waste of money. Horrible customer service from another country apparently as there is a lack of understanding when calling. I am in AZ and have a T-Mobile Home router that they shipped me from IL. Thus all Chicago games are Blacked out. MLB solution is for me to CALL IN EVERY GAME I WANT TO WATCH AND GET AN ACCEPTION! Wait 30 minutes to reach someone and 30 minutes to explain. They have tried to fix it 3 times and keeps blacking out.
This MLB package is a total Joke. Don't throw your money away.

I have had an MLB.tv subscription for a while now, and I was worried when I heard ESPN was taking control. I was 100% absolutely right. I canceled my subscription. I am trying other sites to get my baseball fix. I will update when I find something worthwhile.

I have two issues. One, almost every night the video feed works well until about the 8th inning and then it freezes up for a while, starts again, then freezes up for a while. The MLB app is the only app that I experience this with.

Two, I choose to listen to the radio feed which sometimes is synched perfectly and sometime is as much as 5 seconds off. I can do a better job by silencing the sound n my TV and turning on my radio.

The MLB app is a very second rate operation.

We paid for a Mariners subscription and it specifically states that there are no blackouts unless it is a nationally broadcasted game. All of the sudden we’re getting blackouts for not nationally broadcasted games and all I can get for support is an AI telling me that now all the sudden we’re getting can’t watch any Mariner game in our area. WTAF?
