Monetary Metals is a great concept and I've been very pleased with their service, so far. I'm not getting a great return on some precious metals investments and look forward to working with them for the future.

Precious metals as an income generating vehicle. We contacted this company over a year ago. Every question we had was professionally dealt with. Staff were patient and most helpful throughout the long decision making, application process and finally the movement of funds onto their platform. One year into our three year Silver lease, we have taken delivery of our Silver interest paid in Silver. It is so great to receive a heavy package with actual Silver every six months or so. The customer service is excellent, and has our protection at heart. After moving across the country, we had to confirm our new home address, before they would ship our Silver…protecting us from fraud.

Unique investment opportunity for retail investors to participate in gold leasing. Good lease prospects for gold, but not so much for silver. Great customer service makes up for a somewhat limited online trading platform.

Monetary Metals is the best way for anyone who wants to own gold or silver to earn passive income on it. It is truly mailbox money and has been easy to set up and earn ounces every month on autopilot. It's just like collecting a rent check except the tenants never call about any issues and they pay on time every month in gold! Great people and great products!

You get a double whammy: your gold grows in gold terms, and you get to help save the world. I am dead serious: when the dollar finally loses trust, we all - particularly in the cities - need an alternative way to finance production. Monetary Metals is buliding it, and they better be fast.

Plenty of conceptual background information is provided to understand their model. At times communication can be asynchronous which delays making decisions.

My experience with Monetary Metals began at the top - i.e., firstly, meeting with Keith Weiner in a NYC, informal get-together. As he's since repeatedly demonstrated, Keith is motivated, brilliant, and honest. And all those attributes are reflected in his product, a geographically diversified company poised on the edge of our global, monetary system's paradigm change.
One person cannot do it all, and the individuals Keith has recruited have, in my experience, been terrific: courteous, helpful, knowledgeable ... the epitome of excellence is scaling up Keith's vision.

My only regret is having not moved my silver to Monetary Metals earlier. If you are a long term holder and are tired of paying storage fees this is ideal and you earn interest on the metal, so its a win win win situation for all the parties.

While precious metals are superior "hard currencies" (=monies) in business interactions, TRUST is the most important "soft currency" in any interaction between human beings.

My trust level towards Monetary Metals is around 100% .

In a nutshell, great investment services, good customer service, and an ok website.

If you want to increase your returns on precious metals, then you will be interested in their leases and bonds. Their website lacks features I would expect. However, the good work around is to work with the Account Managers who quickly respond to requests.

BTW, they would get 5 stars if the website provided the full service experience that we came to expect about 10 years ago.

I really like working with MM, the idea of having storage not only covered, but also being able to earn a yield on a "non-yielding" asset (according to the mainstream) is great. The only downside and the thing I wish they'd fix is the ability to take loans against your holdings (not tied up in leases). Currently if I need liquidity, but don't want to sell, I have to request a withdrawal which takes a couple weeks, then wait for it to get mailed, then mail it to another institution that loans against metals, then wait for their disbursement. This whole process means it may take me a month or more to access liquidity. Even if MM doesn't have the ability or desire to loan against metals, I wish they'd at least partner with someone that will and then streamline this process for people who wish to arbitrage their holdings.

My few transactions were very easy to complete. The statements are easy to read (they have improved considerably) and, so far the results have been meeting and even exceeding my expectations.
