These people at MoneyNerd are clearly a team of good folks who genuinely want to help people like me who have stumbled into the thicket of bureaucracy and villainy of parking charges. I was a good-faith tourist who brought my wife and two kids to England in July 2023 to introduce them to English history and culture and was instead met with a 100-pound fine by Parking Eye for double parking in front of our Sheraton Hayes Hotel at Heathrow while checking in one night. A day earlier had also steered our rental car briefly into a bus lane in Oxford and got caught on a traffic camera, which cost me 70 pounds including the fee to the car rental agency. As a law abiding visitor, I willingly paid the latter, but the Parking Eye hit at Heathrow seemed unfair. I appealed it politely through the Parking Eye website, and my appeal was rejected. MoneyNerd's awesome team player Janine gave me terrific guidance on Parking Eye. After I contacted the hotel and asked for their support, they cancelled the fine through Parking Eye. So I can't thank Janine and MoneyNerd enough for their website and a couple of friendly, personalized emails to me from her, complete with links and videos, that helped me navigate the pain stuck to me by Parking Eye. MoneyNerd and Janine, thank you!
