Our experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. We placed an order in December, paid in full, and have still not received the item. Despite waiting for months, there has been no satisfactory resolution.

In our experience, this company appears unreliable and untrustworthy. We strongly advise others to be very cautious before ordering, as we feel we have lost our money without receiving the product.

Please never waste your time or money on this company, completely different to what was advertised!! The worst quality clothing possible with a completely butcher design.

the limited company is registered in the UK and is subject to UK trading laws but no response from them. Total scam ...DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I feel disrespected from this order I saw one thing on the website and they have given me a what looks and feels like a temu order

I ordered the black clover tracksuit as I liked the embroidery on the advertisement however you can forget about that as there is none and it is cheaply printed WHITE when portrayed as grey RIDICULOUS

Just ordered a hooded cardigan last night and accidentally picked the wrong size it says everywhere that there support team is happy to help out yet they haven’t responded to a single email of mine clearly a scam just to get you to order bits and then the refund cost £20 anyway which is more than half of what I payed for the hoodie, some joke of a website

Ordered a two piece set for my son be had seen on their TikTok advert and when it arrived i was shocked. Cheap nasty fabric and shorts almost to his ankles. Sent several emails, no reply. Logged a report with American Express who refunded me. Just went to website and says no longer exists so hoping it has been shut down.

My son ordered what was meant to be a knitted top and shorts and received a very cheap material absolutely nothing like the picture or description. Wish I would have read the reviews. Please do not order from this website it's a waste of money as they will not refund. Although they started they do 😡

Scam website!! their lie is ‘knitted’ garments which are in-fact cheap fancy dress costume outfits. You cant return or refund, look at returns policy on website it says all discounted items are non refundable and it costs £20 to return even though its not your fault you are returning! Plus the company are not responding to any emails anyway.

If I could give no stars I would. I won’t bore you with my experience of dealing with them but it is absolutely identical to everyone else’s. Crappy, cheap printed thing instead of the “knitted” garment advertised. Had many e-mail conversations with them, sent photo’s, as requested, illustrating the massive difference between an actual knitted garment and the shit thing they sent me. To no avail. Their last e-mail said they couldn’t refund my money as the 30 days for returns had expired. I wrote saying when I initially contacted them it was within the 30 day time limit. I know I still won’t get a refund. I’m really annoyed because I too believed their “Trustpilot” ratings. I should have actually gone to the genuine Trustpilot website. I too got conned via their Instagram advert 🤬

Misleading Products & Terrible Customer Service – Avoid!

I ordered a knitted sweater from Monroe London, but what I received was a cheap polyester top with a printed image of a knit design—completely misleading and nothing like what was advertised; the item description does not say anything about it being a print.

When I reached out to customer service, emailing them photos and why I was dissatisfied, they refused to honour their 30-day money-back guarantee despite over 10 emails back and forth. Instead, they first offered me 15% of my money back, then a 60% store credit (really!), which is completely unacceptable. I even quoted UK Distance Selling Regulations, which they outright ignored.

I have since reported the transaction to my bank for investigation and refund recovery. Do not waste your money—this company is dishonest and does not stand by its policies! Also, the Trustpilot review graphic on the website is fake.

Purchased a Festive Sweater, which in the website images appeared to be a knitted garment. In fact it is a long sleeve polyester shirt with a photographic image of a knitted item printed on it. This was in fact mentioned, in very small print on the website, so OK my bad. Returns although possible are to a mainland China address, at the customer’s expense.
My main concern is that in excess of 1400 customer reviews for this product are indicated on the website with an average score of 4.7/5, however none of the reviews are accessible to read, and lengthy email correspondence with the company failed to produce one review. The company in fact states that they do not have the facility for customers to review products. If that is the case I have asked if it is not rather misleading to publish fictitious reviews? At this point the email conversation was terminated by the company.

This company are TERRIBLE! Avoid at all costs! Evri lost my parcel (which didn’t help) and after weeks after them telling me parcel had been delivered and me telling them I wanted a refund they sent me I new item which I did not want (it was supposed to be a Christmas jumper and it’s now January) - they said it was their policy. I finally received the item and it is the most god awful cheap thing I’ve ever seen. It’s described as a knitted jumper and it’s just some cheap printed fabric. When I asked them for a refund they said I couldn’t as it was a free item. Everything is based in China and is VERY misleading. I wish I’d read these reviews before I dealt with this company. I’m now about to start a charge back on my card. Wish me luck!

I wish I had googled this company before impulsively buying what looked like a great deal through an Instagram advert. Like all the other reviews - the products are nothing like the picture or description on the website. The website is misleading as the pin location states that they are based in London, UK which is not true - they are based in China and all returns have to be sent to China. I just paid £22 to return the two Christmas "jumpers" I purchased. Crossing fingers I'll get a full refund. Such a waste of money and time!

Knitted jumper was printed design on polyester, been trying to return for 2 weeks now and they are just dragging it out. Completely misrepresented.

Do not buy. The item I purchased is shipped from another country (not London) and the item was not as advertised. And when contacting them for a refund they want to offer vouchers instead. The item I ordered was a knitted jersey, and it was a printed sweater. They do not take any account for incorrectly advertising. And then want me to pay high shipping costs for returning. The item received is absolutely ridiculous. Total scam calling is a London shop!

Absolute no morals, the item was advertised as a "knitted jumper" but the item sent was just a printed design of a knitted picture.

That was after waiting 5 weeks for it to get shipped from China and the poor labour they use there.

Upon trying to return this item, their customer contact tried to stall for as long as possible and didn't actually try to help me.

You won't actually get what you order and you won't be able to get any refund.

I have the exact same complaint as everyone else on here. Ordered cosy knit got horrific printed photo on polyester. Been trying to return for over a week and have finally been sent a complex returns form and have to send to China at cost of £8. I've initiated a chargeback with my credit card company. Has anyone tried to return? Or received credit card chargeback. Don't see why I should pay for a product that was late arriving and completely misrepresented. Any advice?

Do not order from this company. It is a scam. Wish I had read these reviews before purchasing. Advertised as a knitted jumper and photo appeared to be a knitted jumper but it is just a print of a knitted jumper on a polyester top. Christmas “jumper” that I ordered at the beginning of December arrived in January.

Atrocious company. Misled on shop location through Facebook algorhythm, it stated the shop was closing down its London store to relocate up north and so was having a big sale. Advertisement and image of bought item (Xmas jumper) appear to be a knitted jumper. But it's actually a photo of the knitted jumper I thought I was buying printed on a thin cheap polyester material. Item took 3 weeks to arrive so it didn't even arrive before Xmas. Misled as thought item coking from London based Shop. Name of the shop also infers its London based. The drop pi on their website at the bottom also infers this is a London based shop. After multiple emails exchanged with company finally got instructions on returning item. Have to print a poorly designed return sheet, fill it all out myself. Pay for postage to return item. Responses from their customer service are le gthy ge Eric copy and pasted responses that don't actually acknowledge or address the email you send. Would not recommend. Reports to trading standards. Avoid at all costs. Only given one star because the system says I have to give at least one star. Very dissapointed.

Monroe London is a complete scam, they do not sell you what is advertised. I ordered a knitted Christmas tree jumper and they sent me a polyester long sleeve tshirt with printed knitted Christmas trees - quite the joke! They tell you that you need to pay postage to send abroad. Will not give refund. AVOID
