Avoid at all costs – unethical and dishonest company

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with a rental company. Montreal Boat Rental is completely unethical and deceitful in how they treat customers. I booked a boat and paid the full amount online. When I arrived the day of the rental, they demanded that I pay the full amount again on the spot, claiming the first payment would be refunded “immediately.”

It’s been several days and I still haven’t received my refund. Getting in touch with anyone was a nightmare - multiple phone calls and messages ignored. When I finally got through, they had the audacity to say they’re only issuing a partial refund, with unexplained deductions that were never mentioned anywhere during booking.

This is a blatant scam. Fabrizio and Kevin, specifically, have been completely unprofessional and untrustworthy throughout this process.

Do yourself a favor and rent from literally anywhere else. This company is shady, unethical, and should not be in business.

Great service both before and during the trip

We are so happy that we decided to book through Montreal Boat! We rented the Azimut 50' and it was the best experience for our group of 15! Our Captain Fabrizio and our Skipper Gabrielle/Gabby went above and beyond for us from start to finish. They were genuinely so kind, funny, and brought such a great energy to the experience. Gabby was constantly volunteering to help us take pictures, set up food, clean up, etc. We had a mix of both strong and not-so-strong swimmers in our group, but there was an abundance of life jackets and Gabby was constantly there making sure everyone was safe. This was by far the highlight of our group's trip to Montreal and we absolutely would love to book with them again!!!

I have raised the issues w Kevin who seemed to accuse me of being rude. The experience as not a post I’ve experience and I’ll share exactly what was shared with him. He used long work days for the crew as an excuse to dismiss my concerns .

Hey I want to give you feedback from last night. I refused to tip the two people who were on the boat. I paid 1500$ for an intimate evening w my partner - the crew felt it was their right to sit at the front of the boat and watch the fireworks and give their commentary - with all due respect they can rent their own boat. Secondly they are welcome to talk to each other but respect your charter and no need for me to hear their life stories of who’s pregnant who’s dating ect- the experience was awful and a waste of every dollar. I’ve charted many many boats and this the worst experience - and you must do better.

Great experience , the crew were perfect host

The BEST day on the water! Not only was the boat absolutely beautiful, but the crew did everything to ensure we had an amazing time. Captain Silvan was very knowledgeable in recommending where we should go based on what type of day we wanted. Amanda, our deckhand was so much fun and so attentive! They both felt more like friends on the water with us and we owe our amazing experience to them. While the dock isn't downtown, it was super easy to get to and from. 12/10 I would recommend chartering with this team!

I booked one of their smaller boats just to see how well their company was working and I have to say I’m very impressed with how everything turned out. organize nice people

The service and the staff was amazing! Kevin was always available to answer my questions. We had the time of our lives! so much fun. We are renting again next year.

We had a great experience with Mtl Boat, the staff and captain were amazing and the reservation process with Kevin was handle with great care. We had a a great day on the water. It was my first experience but not my last.
Montreal Boat is the way to go for boat rentals.

Montreal Boat was very accommodating and professional. The staff abord provided amazing service and was knowledgeable. Would recommend for any special occasion, party or even a normal gathering. Thanks again guys!
