Hiding my product review on their website

I am in the US and apparently because of this, the fixtures I ordered require a white cover plate be used on the outside of my wall. It ruins the aesthetic of the lights. This plate doesn't appear in any of the 35 product photos. My electrician also said they were not easy to install. I left a review and photo on their site, and while I appreciate that customer service was quick to review my picture and confirm that my electrician did install it correctly, I also notice my review isn't visible on the website. I intend to add a star if and when it appears...

This company is a total scam from China

I agree with the previous review that this company is a total scam from China. (I tried to leave this review on the Mooijane website but it wouldn't process.) Many of the photos online are NOT of the product: in my case, they were of a similar fixture with the EXACT SAME NAME that cost $800 more than the Mooijane fixture.

They apologized and immediately sent two new shades out which was fantastic

Great customer service!

I recently ordered a lamp from Mooijane. I wasn't able to get updates about my order because I wrote my email wrong when I placed my order - my mistake - but Sally from customer service was incredibly patient and helpful! We exchanged many emails and she replied to every email I sent promptly addressing my concerns, and was so nice. The employees I talked on the phone with were helpful as well. Horrible Quality, A Total Scam

This company is a total scam from China. Do not trust the photos online. The quality is horrendous, and they don’t let you return anything without very high shipping fees. Which begs the question, how much does the product actually cost if the shipping fees are the vast majority of it? I had to email them 4 times to return two scones I bought that took over a month to arrive, and in the end, they told me their quality was top-notch and offered a 10% refund. The only thing worse than being gaslit by a fake company is them actually think they’re helping you by offering a 10% discount. Avoid at all costs. I should have known when they had 80 followers on Instagram.

2 of 3 pieces arrived incomplete/damaged

I purchased 3 lamps from this website. One arrived (after waiting about 6 weeks for the items to arrive from China) with a broken lampshade, and another arrived missing a piece. Customer service has been responsive, but will not provide expedited shipping for the replacement pieces, forcing me to wait months to have functional lamps.

Customer service has been responsive, but I will certainly avoid purchasing from them ever again. Don't be fooled by their lux-looking website. Subpar products.

My last complaint - the packaging is absolutely awful. The cheapest Styrofoam that disintegrates all over your house and takes an eternity to clean up.

This company is fraudulent

This company is fraudulent! I urge you not to waste your time to order from them. They guarantee shipment 4 to 6 weeks. They have taken my money. They can’t tell me anything about my two orders that I have given them over $4000. All I get is, we will escalate this. No return phone calls the same BS and I still don’t have my product. I would never ever recommend this company fraudulent and I still do not have my product.

After sending this review, I see three more fraudulent reviews from me that I’ve never written giving them five stars. So I’m on the phone with my credit card company.

Scam avoid at any costs

Order on July 21st said shipped on August 4th and as today (September 17th) no sign of delivery or any idea where the package really is. Company is based in China so I only get responses late at night East time and EVERY SINGLE TIME I got a different responses (it’s still in transit, is clearing customs, waiting to get picked up by FedEx) I will call my bank tomorrow and despute the charge because this company is nothing but a joke and it seems from other reviews that products are cheap and malfunctioning. Stay away from them!

Scam Company

This foreign based Mooijane,which I thought was US based since they have a Maryland address from which I purchased a lighting fixture- total charge of $1,664.15 that was shipped from overseas which was delivered 7/20. The order was placed in good faith, but upon installation, the product was immediately found to be defective and non-functional. I contacted Mooijane right after installation, 7/27/25 notifying them of the issue and requesting a return however . their resolution was to send replacement bulbs to see if this would remedy the problem after waiting another 3 weeks tor the bulbs to arrive, the light still did not work properly . I even had an electrician check the wiring and they found the light to be defective.

Despite multiple attempts to communicate with the company via email, Mooijane has refused to accept responsibility for the defective product unless I agree to pay an unreasonable return shipping fee ranging from $350 to $500. Which goes against their own online return policy I find this request entirely unacceptable, especially since the product was defective upon arrival and was never operational.
I have provided the company with photo and video evidence of the non-functioning light and detailed descriptions of the issue. However, Mooijane continues to ignore the nature of the complaint and insists that I bear the full cost of returning a faulty item. Save yourself the trouble this company is a scam.

Nice Product, if you receive it!

Attempted to leave review on the website, but it was immediately filtered and deleted. So realize that the ratings that are on the site are filtered. I ordered an Agate Chandelier on Feb 9, 2025 with an est time to receive it of 4-6 weeks. After 4 weeks and no shipping/tracking info received, I contacted this company which is part of multiple Chinese drop shipping brands of different names under one big no name company. At 5 weeks, they told me they would expedite my item and would receive it in 4-6 weeks from that date. April 29th, I received 2 packages. One contained my chandelier base and the other contained part of another customer’s order. This company provided me with one shipping label to send the other person their missing items. What I received from the other customer who supposedly had the other portion of my order however was not my agates, but yet another piece from a different customer. Their shipping info was on a different label on the package, so after multiple attempts to contact the company (on both their customer service emails with a bunch of fake “Americanized Names” (No one in China is named “Hazelle”) as well as fake names on their WhatsApp with a China Country code) for a second label, I spent 67 dollars to ship the other customer their item. The only communication I received felt like it was AI generated. Very fake sounding, with no substance or solutions. The email just repeated back what I said and apologized for the inconvenience. I was still waiting for my package which contained the agates slices. Nothing. The company never said they would send me a replacement until after I filed a Paypal dispute on May 27th. Immediately, the company said they would send me replacement agates, and give me a 10% refund if I canceled my paypal dispute. The email communication felt much more “Real Person” and no longer AI generated. Then they upped it to 50% refund at the 120 day mark from my order. 12 weeks since the purchase date, and began calling my phone. I declined. They would have no accountability if I canceled the dispute. They were using the fulfillment of my order as leverage to cancel the dispute. No. I obtained my agates from a 3rd party and requested a 50% refund to pay for the agates I got elsewhere and the cost of shipping the other customer their item. June 18, 2025, Paypal sided with me, closed the dispute and refunded me half the cost of the chandelier. If after reading all that, you still want to roll the dice, know that it is a beautiful chandelier and is well packaged. However the bulbs are not standard candelabra bulbs for the US, but for Europe, so you will have to order them off amzn. Also, the bulbs they send do not dim without causing a buzzing at the dimmer switch, so again, buy replacements off A… Good luck with your decision!

06/22/2025 Update:
To reply to “Rachel’s” post from Moojaine. Thank you for not refuting that the reviews on your website are auto filtered, and any negative reviews are removed. They are generic and fake. Example: “this lamp looks great in my room.” No one calls a chandelier a lamp.

Also, “making every effort” to resolve the issue of me not receiving my order would simply be SENDING A REPLACEMENT immediately, instead of wasting my time with the 50 EMAILS you admitted to use instead.

It was not the courier’s mistake. Your company labeled the packages. So no. Its a lie to say it was anyone else’s mistake. Your company messed up. You should have acknowledge it, sent a replacement and been done with it.

Lastly, thank you for not refuting that only time you mentioned sending a replacement was nearly 4 months after I purchased the item, after I created a paypal dispute.

My advice to anyone taking the chance to buy from this company is to know your credit card’s dispute window or buy through Paypal and then keep a detailed record of everything.

This company customer service is all fluff and no substance. You’ll most likely speak to a random different AI sounding rep each time. They gaslight you with promises of swift resolution and thank you constantly for your patience, and then ignore you and make you wait until it effects their bottom line.

Dropping down from 2 stars to one for wasting more of my time replying to your nonsense.

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company. Ever.

This has been one of the worst shopping experiences of my life.
They manufacture the lights in China and ship them directly from there. Despite their claim of 3–5 weeks for delivery, it took over 7 weeks, and the packaging was an absolute mess.

I spent a total of $1,468 on ceiling lights, and what I received looked nothing like the photos on their website. The materials were cheap and flimsy, every single candlestick was bent, and the central column—the main part of the fixture—was poorly finished with visible dents and defects.

It was in no condition to be installed, so I requested a return. That’s when the real nightmare began.
They refused to accept a return, and for the past two weeks, I’ve been going back and forth with them. The customer service feels like dealing with a shady multi-level marketing company—the representative changes every time, and no one takes responsibility.

Now, they’re demanding $500 in return shipping for these defective, low-quality products.

I’m calling this company out.

Don’t waste your time, energy, or money here.
