We honestly cannot recommend Alex at Mortgage Pathways highly enough. As first-time buyers, my fiancée and I started this process feeling completely clueless about how everything worked, but Alex guided us every step of the way with patience, clarity, and genuine enthusiasm.

He took the time to explain every part of the process in a way that actually made sense, reassured us whenever we felt unsure, and was never fazed by the sheer number of questions we had. Alex truly believes there is no such thing as a stupid question when it comes to buying a home, and that mindset made a huge difference to our confidence.

He was incredibly proactive, regularly checking mortgage rates for us (and continues to do so), keeping us updated, and making sure we were always in the best possible position. Communication was excellent throughout — always quick to respond by email and more than happy to pick up the phone whenever we needed a more detailed chat. He was never rushed and was always willing to spend as much time as needed to make sure we fully understood everything.

Thanks to Alex’s tireless support and expertise, we now have our first home reserved and our mortgage secured. We feel genuinely clued up, excited, and confident moving forward, which we never thought we’d say at the start of this journey. As first-time buyers, Alex was absolutely perfect for us, and we can’t thank him enough for all his help.
