I paid £80 for the Tommee Tippee complete feeding kit and it's been a disaster. The bottles are tiny, the bibs strangle my baby, the bottle warmer doesn't work, and the steamer nearly blew up my kitch... Toon meer

BEWARE!!!
BEWARE!!!! DO NOT BUY ONLINE FROM MOTHERCARE IRELAND.
I bought a pregnancy support pillow online and opted in for store pick up to get it quicker than deliver. a week went pass and nothing, no communication, no sign of my order. after half an hour of searching to find a number to call (as their website purposely does not have any information on contacting their customer service, just Q&As), I called and was told all is OK and i should get contacted soon to pick up my order.
Rubbish customer service, no replies to queries, no number to contact and noway of getting a refund!
For a brand that is meant to be a service provider to pregnant women and babies, I am disgusted at your customer service levels and will never ever again buy anything from mothercare Ireland, in store or online.
Don’t buy online
Don’t buy online! Customer service... what service! Everyone I’ve spoken to is very rude! I ordered a buggy for my newborn and toddler and needed it a certain day so I paid the extra for it to be there that day. I had a weekend away booked & paid for, to Which I wouldn’t be home on the weekend. on the Saturday I get a email stating my order has changed when I look into it they was going to deliver my order that day!? When I called mother care to state I wouldn’t be home and I paid for it to be on the Monday for a reason they stated there was nothing they could do and they couldn’t change it nor stop them delivering it even when I told them they will leave it outside & since I will not be home until Monday it will get taken! Yodel are useless (they deliver for mothercare) as they leave my parcels on my doorstep (preciously to this order) so they wasn’t trusted by me so I left my weekend away & went home for the item. I got home around 9:30/10am Saturday morning tracking my order and waited all day till gone 9pm and still no item but yet it states it’s been delivered around 7pm so of course I couldn’t call mothercare at that time so waited till the next day to ask what’s happening, the first guy I spoke to stated it looks like it been delivered to the solicitors next to my building so I checked and nothing so I called back to which he stated he will raise it as a priority and I’ll definitely hear back within 24/48 and surprise no call. So I called back and the lady I spoke to was very rude telling me that there is nothing she can do and don’t no how long it will take and no point in me calling as I’m wasteing there time! Well maybe if you stuck to my date that I paid for Then just maybe THIS WOULDNT BE A ISSUE!!!! So that’s my money wasted, what a joke!
I went to the Tallaght store today with…
I went to the Tallaght store today with a broken buggy. The staff must be up for a prize of must rude customer service. the girl at the till was chewing gum as if it was the last supper and the manager wouldn't even say a word, not even a hello or sorry your buggy broke. Just threw another buggy frame on the floor and that was it.
I felt as if I made trouble for them while clearly the Mothercare buggy frame should not break at all.
Very poor experience
Very poor experience, staff is not helpful , I got a car seat today but I was told to look up for some video on YouTube how to install the seat , not even a help to bring this huge box to the car even I was with a toddler and it was a challenge for me. Is not a first time that I got an impression that the girls working there don’t won’t to be bother to be ask anything.
sold me the wrong milk for my baby
I see that on here there have been…
I see that on here there have been mixed reviews I can only speak for my own experience. The Leeds Mothercare at Crown Point gave us great service, despite it being the busiest weekend (Black Friday) we were approached straight away and that person asked a member of staff to demonstrate a baby seat we needed for out grandchild. Although the item was not in stock she went to order it online and we selected pick up at the store it took 5 days and we picked it up without a problem, the baby seat is of good quality and was a bargain.
Abyssmal Service & Follow Up
I placed an order online nearly 4 weeks ago for a car seat with delivery address clearly specifying in store collection - estimated delivery time 8 working days. On the 07th working day (23rd Oct) I raised a query with customer service as the status online had not changed to reflect when item would be available in store. I received no tangible response other than "we are looking into" despite chasing up several times. Only today the 08th Nov and after physically attending at store where pickup was due requesting they raise issue with customer service aswell I receive an actual response/explanation from Mothercare "alleged" customer service stating the supplier issued to my home address and then returned item so a refund to my account now placed. No phonecall no manager intervention no empathy consideration or basic service level applied to a customer who is out of pocket with no product almost 4 weeks and now has to start process of sourcing a car seat again. Absolutely deplorable service and follow up for something that is clearly a fault with system and supplier interaction - will never shop in store or online again and will ensure no friend or family member does likewise.
Ian in Mothercare Mahon - great service
My wife and I went to Mothercare in Mahon (Cork) yesterday to buy a cot/bed for a grandchild. We dealt with Ian. How I wish that every retailer had a person like Ian! Informative, friendly, capable and very helpful - it was a pleasure to shop there. It contrasted so much with the all too frequent experiences of meeting with the kind of "couldn't be bothered" store assistants in various other retailers around Cork..
I should say that as far we could see, the other store assistants in that Mothercare branch seemed equally friendly and helpful.
Well done Mothercare Mahon - and thanks Ian

Very bad customer service
I want to share my story of my …
I want to share my story of my experience in Mothercare. Im a first time expectant mum and really wanted the best service for my first baby so of course according to the reputable Mothercare brand I thought I would order everything I need from them.
We attended their Carrickmines store in Ireland and I have to say that the experience has been really appalling.
The first day we arrived at the store there were multiple staff members who didn't seem to know anything about the products and appeared to be completely at sea in terms of explaining the difference or benefits of any of the products vs others.
We came back a week later and purchased a buggy and car seat - although we walked into the store knowing what exactly we were going to get based on our own online research we took 1hr 20mins to actually pay for it. I couldn't actually believe that it took that long but honestly the staff didn't seem to know how to even get us to hand over the money for the product.
I was told very sympathetically that it could take up to 6 weeks for the items to arrive and since 7 weeks Ive been calling once a week to understand whats happened. I received no call to say they would be late and the first week I called I was pretty patient saying ok well can someone call me during the week to let me know what the delay is. Its now 9 weeks since we ordered our goods and still no one has ever called me back. I called today and they casually told me ah it will likely be another 1-2 weeks so were looking at 11 weeks. No apology or anything. I'm wondering at this stage do they understand that I've paid 1500 euros in exchange for goods that I do actually expect them to supply.
I'm very very frustrated and stressed considering we're nearing the end of my pregnancy and Im not sure exactly how I can get home from the hospital with an absent car seat and buggy. I'm sure you can imagine how upsetting that can be - particularly when the people who you bought it from don't seem to care.
In summary I'm a very disappointed customer and I can assure you if I have another baby I will go to the moon before I go back to Mothercare for their appalling service.
Abysmal customer service
I ordered a hi chair online and received no email confirmation or communication whatsoever from them. Fortunately I kept a note of the order number. Have now tried calling several times to find out where my order is a week later and never get through. Keep getting told it's engaged.
Rotten service and will never buy anything from them again
Do not buy online
Do not buy online, seriously, I've bought a high chair for my baby girl online, the delivery on the product stated 2-3 days and since I had just started feeding her I figured I could wait 2-3 days bending my back badly while feeding her or doing tag team with partner. It's been 8 work days and still waiting for it, got a mail on the 3rd day stating it had been picked up for shipment and would be available in store for collection in 1-2 days. Guess what, it's been 5 days. The tracking page states absolutely nothing, it's total garbage, the package could be in china or in store I don't know, if they fail with a tracking page how can I trust they'll send me the email correctly on delivery? Went to the store and they've told me that it usually takes 8 days for that product, so why not state that online, could have bought somewhere else would have been delivered way faster. Sent an email 2 days ago, no reply yet.
Awfull online shopping experience
We ordered a car seat from Mothercare 6th March 2017. Should have been delivered within a few days. No phone calls from customer service. Waited until I contacted them. After 10 days I phoned to get an update and was told it will be delivered the following Monday. Then we got an email a few days later saying they have cancelled the order, no suggestions for alternatives. Baby due within the next few days. A terrible shopping experience.
