Now I know why this company has so many five star reviews. The company is truly EXCEPTIONAL! From the receptionist to the gas fitters and even the Chairman - all ensured their contribution was valuable - perfect even. They arranged a fitter to attend to my boiler within a few hours of my call. Unfortunately the error code returned but MPW immediately despatched a second fitter who gave the whole boiler a thorough overhaul. The Chairman promptly answered the email I sent on Saturday evening and continued to stay in touch until all was resolved. Despite the time spent and the close personal attention throughout the company insisted the one call out fee was the only invoice they would raise. I have no hesitation in recommending the company - truly THE BEST!

I contacted MPW Group to investigate a leak and was told that if it was not a plumbing issue, I would be charged one hour plus VAT, which I was happy to accept so that I could at least identify the source of the problem.They attended while I was out (my partner was home) and later reported that the issue was “just grout” and not a plumbing problem. I paid the invoice of around £140 despite no actual work being carried out, on the basis that I would at least get clear information and evidence of the leak.
When I phoned to ask for more detail and a photo of the leak (which they said they had), the lady on the phone was rude, dismissive and kept repeating that “it’s obviously your bath” – as if it should have been obvious to me before I called a plumber. If it really were that obvious, I wouldn’t have paid for a plumber to attend if it was the work of a Tiler or another tradesmen.
I still haven’t been sent any evidence of the leak, despite asking. Very poor customer service, unhelpful attitude on the phone and no sense of accountability given I have already paid the invoice. Unfortunately, I would not use this company again or recommend them..
You can see from the response below why I’m unhappy. I paid your invoice voluntarily – I could have refused, but chose not to, in good faith.
My concern is not the payment, it is the attitude and lack of basic cooperation when I called to ask where exactly the leak was, so I could explain it to the person doing the sealing. I was told there was a photo, and simply asked for it to be emailed to me.
Instead of a straightforward “yes, we’ll send it”, I was spoken to very rudely and told, “it’s your bathroom, you should obviously see it.” That is not acceptable. I have paid £140 for an investigation and yet I am being refused something as simple as a photo of my own bathroom to show what your engineer has identified.
It comes across as dismissive and disrespectful, and it has left me feeling that I’ve paid for a service but been treated with contempt when I asked for very basic clarification.

First 3 engineers called only handled gas boilers,but MPW had no hesitation in sending an engineer the next morning who fixed 2 faults including fetching the necessary spare part. The heating system was back up early afternoon. Great job, tidy and professional.

Ben was over quickly to sort out our burst pipe, he soon found the problem and rectified it. He was very reassuring and knowledgeable, taking the time to answer all our questions and give us some hints and tips. Very happy as it was late on a Friday. Also appreciated the follow-up visit by James who was also helpful.

What a gem of a find. These were the 2nd company I phoned. The 1st one couldn't come out for 6-7 days, these turned up within two hours. Great lads, good job and very competitive prices.

Good work carried out by James on an emergency callout on Sunday morning. Was punctual and carried out the works required quickly with no fuss.

We had a serious water leak so had turn the main water feed off. Contacted MPW early on a Monday morning the earliest they could come to us was mid afternoon. Plummer Josh arrived at 4pm found the leak had to travel 3 miles at 4.30pm to get a replacement part was back sorted and on his way by 5.20pm . Josh was very polite, efficient and quick and we were very satisfied customers, so much so I recommend MPW to my sister.

Fantastic service. Extremely easy to book, turned up on time and were really polite and friendly. After waiting in for one plumber who didn’t arrive and another who didn’t want to travel to the other side of town, MPW were a breath of fresh air.
