Ordered a delivery from Shirley branch, after being 45 mins overdue a friend called and I found my meal wet and on the drive stone cold. I called them and told the manager would call me, after 15 mins the person i first called phoned and said the driver knocked door then phoned me twice. TOTAL LIES manager never called. Do Not Use These Jokers you wait two hours for cold and wet food and they dont give a toss.

This restaurant is much improved, I thought I needed to leave this review after seeing all the negative. We came before and the place needed shutting down, it was filthy, crap food and miserable staff. On our way back from the German market we saw the new signage and thought we would try it. We are very impressed with with the new look, cleanliness and the staff morale. Very friendly and efficient. The improvement deserves this recognition. 10/10

Would say poor service that's if I got served waiting there in my high viz jacket can clearly be seen for over 10 minutes not many people in the shop then another customer walked in before he reached the counter they were asking him for his order I walked out angrily the shop was in Gooch St highgate birmingham 5

Loved the food! Great sized portions, lots of options and the mojito's were so nice! Would definitely go again!

The food tastes nice, however the portion sizes are too small. My food was cold (both the fries and the kebab.) The service was also good however I don’t think you should eat here if you want a Kebab, go somewhere else.

Can't fault the food. I paid £33.94 for 2 pizzas, a 10pc chicken meal and various drinks. I asked for mayonaise to be put on one portion of chips in the chicken meal but was told I would have to pay an extra 50p. Hello, I've just spent nearly £34 and you want me to pay for a mayonaise. Well it's the only takeaway I know, that charges for sauces. Think they have a right sauce expecting us to pay for sauces. Won't bother returning then, when I can get a meal just as good, even cheaper and with no added cost for sauces, elsewhere. You've just lost a customer that always spends well over £20 per visit.

Yep. One star. Let me clear - the food was lovely - it wasn't super hot - but it was tastey, especially the spicy chicken burger.

However, when the door knocked, I opened the door and the delivery driver said, with an attitude "I call you but no answer". I said "Say again mate?"

"I call you but no answer."

He was trying to say "I phoned you expecting you to come outside and pick it up from the car."
I turned to him and said "Yeah? And the door is right there."

He turned around and said "alright mate whatever" and walked off.

I do not live in a flat. I live on a street. They charge £2.50 for delivery. The key is in the word "DELIVERY." Not "Drop off on the road."

In short - the food is good - but the delivery driver was arrogant, rude and unprofessional.

For that reason, I will not order again, 1 star review. Hire better staff.

Ordered from Erdington branch. A catalogue of issues:
1. Naan not fresh.
2. Chips, a mix of old and fresh
3. Chilli sauce literally burned throats and left in pain after.
4. Order arrives 49 minutes late.
5. No one answers phone so we can't follow up, check or complain
6. No apology from the driver about being so late. Delivery driver had no idea the delivery was so late and advised best to order via Just Eat from these guys and not direct ever (in other words, this might be the only way to hold them accountable).

awful service can never get there order right given wrong order and was told nothing can be done about it, so i refused to leave drive thru giving them no choice but to correct

I went today drive through and took mix Donner kebab I couldn’t find no where they wrote HALAL FOOD not on their advertisement no where at all. I have asked the lady she said she don’t know about this. They should at least wrote on packing corner or somewhere. Where’s all the so called Muslims now

Ordered a pizza that had topping absent on three quarters of it. The manager arshad was rude and abusive and ignored my complaint. Ruined a family meal and my autistic son was in bits. Customer service is non existent and it is clear to see why with such incompetent, arrogant and rude management. I have put in for a dispute with the bank for a refund.

Ordered though uber eats and the driver decided to leave the order at our door without ringing the bell so we had no idea our order had arrived until we randomly looked out the window. Luckily our neighbours cat hadn't managed to rip the bag open and eat the food. The chips were stone cold and the wrong pieces of chicken were given to us (asked for the leg and got given the breast again for the 4th time). Service has really gone down hill here.

Went to Big John's store located at 7-11 Sutton New Rd, Erdington, Birmingham B23 6TJ for first time on 23/02/2021 around 09:45 pm. No receipt provided with the order. Chicken wings were rock solid and and tinny like ants also mozzarella sticks have the rock solid cheese in them as well. Taste was so bad couldn't even eat them as they were hard like bones. I hope so any responsible person will read this and get back to me.

Ignore these negative reviews it's slander big John's are amazing quality food at great prices have had so many takeaways never a issue staff great food great ignore the haters.

I placed an order today online and I can safely say I will never ever order from these again.

The order arrived firstly cold and the kebab was dryer than Ghandis flip flop literally probably re heated from the day before the chips were all scabby absolutely disgusting!!

Do not order from Big John's nasty ass food man!!!

Now we’ve had deliveries from Big Johns for a few years. Had the most mortifying experience with their drivers today guy refused to deliver to my door despite the “contact free policy” every company is supposed to be following. He was very flippant, refused to listen to anything i said, was on his cellphone and made me wait. I called customer service who basically said sorry without asking for details of where i live etc. If this is how Big John conducts business, it is disgusting! I paid a delivery fee only for your driver to treat me like he's doing me a favour. Justeat should just remove you from their service if you can’t recruit better mannered drivers

Food obviously keep warm for hours, nothing was as advertised.
Made an excellent laxative.
Thank you Big John’s at Acocks Green for a miserable experience.

This is the worst place I've eaten from my last 3 orders were wrong and today my food came stone cold its a f joke never again am I ordering from this place again. How are they still open food is rank they serve you fish cake instead of fish burger lol

Hi ya. I'm not one to normally complain.. But last night after my regular order of perri chicken something stuck in my throat after swallowing. I had to make myself suck to try and get it out. After about 7 mins I eventually did. Itslike a thin piece of red plastic not thick but the end is jagged. I have took a pic and out it in a resealable bag. It's prob 3 inches long with this jagged bit on the end. Can you please get back to me. The rest of the chicken is in the fridge in the bag it came in. Ty.

Placed an order, I called to confirm that I will get the delivery in 90 minutes. I called 2hrs later and I am told to wait another hour completly unacceptable as all orders were suspended
