I want to thank my driving instructor…
I want to thank my driving instructor Nasar Majeed for all the hard work he has put in with me and getting me pass ready he is an amazing person if anyone gets him as a driving instructor you have won the lottery. I passed today no driving faults and Nasar Majeed played a massive part and to be honest I will miss him because he is a great guy so just a big big thank you. Such a great experience from start to finish.

Absolute thieves when i moved to…
Absolute thieves when i moved to Scotland they told me they could not provide me with clients, took my money and ran immoral bunch . yet they still advertise in my area , will be taking them to court as service advertised not provided .A long winded.reply below .i can detail exactly what 2 half grand of training looks like if you wish ,or do the right thing and refund my money yours Ken ok here goes what training you get a few calls in the beginning some books for you to study access to an online learning platform ,payment does not included your theory test you pay for that on top,nor, your practical test .You don't get in a car until you pass your theory test takes in my case nearly 6 months .Then when you do practice for your practical you drive a couple for a couple of hours in a company car with another learner and an instructor. Thats what you get for nearly 3 grand

We’re sorry to see this review, but we don’t believe it gives a fair reflection of what actually happened.
When you joined My Four Wheels, you were living in Bury St Edmunds. During your training, your circumstances changed and you moved to the Isle of Bute in Scotland to look after your sister.
By this point, you had already completed approximately two-thirds of your course, including your Part 1 and Part 2 training, which had been provided locally to where you lived when you originally signed up with us.
The difficulty arose when it came to operating a My Four Wheels franchise solely on the Isle of Bute. With a population of around 6,000 people, we simply cannot realistically provide the volume of learners required to support a viable franchise operating exclusively on the island.
We did, however, discuss a solution which we believed could work. This involved carrying out some work locally on the island where possible, while travelling to mainland Scotland for the majority of your teaching, where there is a significantly larger learner market and where we would be in a much better position to provide learners.
This is not an unusual arrangement. We have instructors living in more remote areas who travel into larger population centres for the majority of their work, while still completing some lessons closer to home where demand allows. Unfortunately, this was not an option you wanted to pursue.
That is very different from My Four Wheels simply being unable or unwilling to provide you with clients. The issue is specifically the practical limitation of providing sufficient learners for a franchise operating exclusively on the Isle of Bute, following your decision to relocate there during your training.
The suggestion that we simply “took your money and ran” is therefore simply not true. We invest thousands of pounds into the training and support of each trainee, and our training packages do not cover the full cost to us of delivering that training. In your case, you had already completed approximately two-thirds of your training programme, including both your Part 1 and Part 2 training.
At your request, we subsequently agreed to cancel your franchise agreement as a gesture of goodwill, taking into account your sister’s ill health and the significant change in your circumstances and location.
Importantly, your Part 3 training remains available to you. We are happy to provide your remaining Part 3 training on mainland Scotland, and we can also offer an online Part 3 training option, so you can continue working towards becoming a fully qualified ADI.
What we cannot offer is a My Four Wheels franchise operating solely on the Isle of Bute, because we cannot realistically provide the required volume of learners there.
We completely appreciate that moving to the Isle of Bute changed your circumstances significantly, but we do not believe it is fair to describe this as a service not being provided. You completed approximately two-thirds of your training, we proposed a practical solution that would have enabled you to continue with My Four Wheels after your move, and your remaining Part 3 training is still available through more than one route should you wish to complete your qualification.

I had Nasar Majeed as my instructor and I was worried at first because I’m very shy however he made me feel comfortable from my first lesson. He is very thorough with explaining and made sure I knew why I had to do things a certain way rather than just making it a habit. I would 100% recommend him to others as I passed first time🎉🎉

RYAN, my instructor was brillant! He always arrived early and was prompt with his messaging. He was friendly and encouraging and never cancelled; always squeezing me in when he could. He had tremendous patience and tried different ways to explain things. He was open to any questions I had and went out of his way to surprise me on test day by wishing me good luck, which gave me that extra bit of confidence (I took my own car) I needed. The best bit - I managed to pass my test first time and received only 2 minors! Thanks to RYAN.

The Best Driving Instructor I Could Have Asked For

Absolutely fantastic driving school
Absolutely fantastic driving school, I couldn’t recommend them enough! From start to finish the whole experience was brilliant, thanks to Gareth.
Gareth is an exceptional instructor – he’s always calm, patient and explains everything clearly in a way that makes perfect sense. He never made me feel rushed or nervous, and he turned every mistake into a helpful learning moment rather than something to worry about. He tailored every lesson exactly to what I needed to work on, built my confidence step by step, and gave me all the skills and knowledge to drive safely and confidently for life, not just to pass a test.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE
i am a 17 year old girl who is learning to drive and i think that the way my instructor spoke and behaved towards me and others was disrespectful, disgusting and rude. this led to me feeling incredibly uncomfortable and as a girl who already has anxiety and struggles in social situations and things like driving lessons this didn’t help at all. he would make racial comments, homophobic and transphobic comments to me regarding members of the public whenever we drove past someone who appeared to look or dress differently. he would also tell me about his other students that is didn’t know and make comments regarding his political views which i believe his inappropriate and was never relevant to our conversations. i regret staying silent during these moments as a 17 year old i was scared, uncomfortable and out of my depth, im not a confrontational person and he is also a stranger, i feel any women would understand my concern. stupidly i decided to stay and carry on with lessons but i was not frequent with them and would go months without one due to the situations i was put in but i just wanted to pass my test and get it over with. i had to cancel a lesson last minute due to a family member being rushed into hospital and he was already outside of my house 45 minutes early which i though was odd, but he gave me a 50% refund and i moved on i understood it was last minute. i didn’t have a lesson for a while as they ended up passing away, i didn’t tell him this as i deemed it was none of his business and he didn’t need to know however it came up in conversation during one of our lessons. i also cancelled a few lessons the night before due to being unwell and although i understand it was late notice i didn’t appreciate the way i was spoken to after and he was fine with the cancellation over text. i then had to cancel a 2 hour lesson due to the sudden passing of a family friend, i messaged him 22 hours prior to the lesson and he said it was fine and he would me a refund. i didn’t say what happened and said it was a family emergency as i didn’t think it was his to know. he then messaged me saying he couldn’t refund me the £80 and £40 of unused time from a lesson i had to cut short due to me not giving him enough notice and that there was a 24 hour cancellation policy that i had agreed to when signing the policy in my first lesson 7 months prior. now i dont remember what i signed as it was a long time ago and as the 24 hour policy was never implemented before i gathered it was fine and i was told aslong as i told him the night before it was fine. i think the way he handled the situation was rude, unprofessional and disgusting as he brought up my personal experiences and as a young girl i was scared and upset as i knew he had the upper hand and was out of my depth. i also am trying to independently fund this and as a young girl on minimum wage in full time education it isnt easy. he ended up not replying to my messages and keeping the money i understand it is his job but also dont think it is entirely fair how i was treated. he also would tell me 1 hour lessons were pointless and a waste of our time due to the area i live in (which is a small town around 15 minutes away from a big town) this made me feel i had to do 2 hours but when i did he would drive me 30-40 minutes into a big town when i was doing my test in the town 15 minutes away. i believe this wasted my lesson time and money, although i see it may be better for teaching i feel the same thing could of been done closer to where i live and that i could of been driving more. he also would change how he acted, i had a lesson where he was being examined and he was lively, supportive and kind but as soon as the examiner left he was rude, harsh and shouting at my small mistakes. i know not every instructor with my four wheels is like this but to be completely honest i would not recommend this to anyone.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are genuinely sorry to hear that you felt uncomfortable and unsupported during your lessons, and we are also very sorry for the losses you have experienced.
The comments and behaviour you have described are extremely concerning and do not reflect the standards we expect from anyone representing My Four Wheels. Every learner should be treated with patience, dignity and respect, and we would like the opportunity to investigate your concerns fully.
We would also like to clarify the points regarding lesson duration and cancellations. Two-hour lessons are generally recommended as best practice because they provide enough time to recap previous learning, travel to suitable training areas and properly practise new skills. The aim is to develop broad driving experience rather than only covering local test routes.
Our policy requires a minimum of 24 hours’ notice when cancelling a lesson, as instructors reserve that time and are unlikely to refill the appointment at short notice. On the earlier occasion mentioned, the instructor had already travelled to your address but still refunded half of the lesson cost as a goodwill gesture. The later cancellation was made 22 hours before the lesson and therefore fell within the cancellation period.
We appreciate that the circumstances were extremely upsetting. However, the cancellation policy is separate from the concerns you have raised about how you were spoken to, which we take very seriously. Please contact our office directly so we can investigate this properly.
