Be very careful if purchasing this hotel as a Christmas gift, we purchased this for our disabled elderly parents for a nice Christmas treat, when my mother-in-law tried booking she was told there was no availability. She rang to extend the voucher till 22nd November and was told this was find and to back this telephone call with an email which she did, on the 22nd November our parents drove all the way to the hotel to be told they hadn't replied to a confirmation email, there was no availability and the voucher was now null and void. They where stranded and the hotel didn't even help to find alternative accommodation, luckily they found a nearby hotel for £135. On contacting justine from the reception team we weren't offered compensation for the hotel our parents had to stay at and our parents weren't even offered an extension to the original voucher, so please if you do book with this hotel, check your junk mail and print off any correspondence because I would hate for anyone else to have this awful customer experience.

Helpful advice from your staff have helped me to use 2 of my vouchers up as I have been unable to use them due to ill health this year . Im hoping to use them other two before they run out x .

No heating in room, window when shut had big gap. Dinner was not very good, served items that was wrongly described, ordered a prime rib burger, got an old bit of burger that your local burger van would have been embarrassed serving. This was a treat for my wife’s birthday, a total disaster.

Christie was fantastic when I had to cancel my booking due to a family emergency. She really went out of her way to help.

I recently made a booking for the Pitlochry Hydro Hotel. On the day we were leaving to drive to the hotel. I by chance looked at my booking. To my horror my booking was for the day before. The fault was all mine. I phoned the company in a panic. How my panic was handled was second to none. I was immediately put at ease . They took care of everything.They contacted the hotel and everything was sorted. By the time we got to the car to start the journey I got a call to say it was all sorted: we could start our 3 day break from the Monday till Thursday with no change in the cost.

Fantastic if only every company provided customer service to this level.
