Excellent service
Excellent service when I emailed to advisemy recent order which was for a gift was being returned by the carrier. I emailed to ask if they could send a replacement as it as for a gift. They processed the replacement on the day and despatched it the following day.

Be very careful when dealing with this company. Once they have taken your money if the order goes wrong they have no interest in the customer at all. My advice would be to look at other companies when they are looking to spend their money. The customer service is atrocious and they constantly lie to you promising to contact you then ignoring you. According to the reply they only had one email which is like their promise to reply to me the same day, another lie. The only reason they bothered to reply next day was because I left a bad review on their Facebook page. This company have no idea of customer service. As for the free bag they hold so much stock in, it is being returned with the products that were wrong. Thankfully I will not use this company again and would advise people to check the company they wish to use before ordering

We are very disappointed to read this updated review as it still does NOT accurately reflect the communication that took place.
The customer initially contacted us via Facebook, where we clearly ask customers to email us directly because Facebook comments/messages are not a reliable way for us to manage order issues properly. Once we received the actual email regarding the incorrect order, we responded the following morning, apologised, arranged immediate replacement of the correct items and included an additional free bag as a gesture of goodwill.
It is our company policy to admit mistakes, make amends and try to make sure it doesn't happen again.
At no stage did we refuse to help or show “no interest” in resolving the issue. In fact, the replacement was arranged immediately once the problem was reported to us through the correct customer service channel.
We also explained openly that our professional email system automatically logs and acknowledges all incoming emails and, after checking thoroughly, we could still only find one email from the customer. We politely asked whether screenshots or delivery confirmations of the alleged missing emails could be provided so that we could investigate further, however none were supplied.
The customer also confirmed to us privately that the issue regarding a promised same-day reply related to Facebook messaging rather than unanswered emails.
Packing mistakes can occasionally happen in any business and we apologised for that immediately. However, we do not believe it is fair or accurate to describe the company as dishonest or uncaring when we responded promptly, corrected the issue and sent replacements straight away.

Thank you Jane, thank you for your order. We have had an extraordinary systems error which meant that a whole batch of orders didn't arrive. We didn't realise immediately but sorted it out as soon as we could. We are so sorry about this and it shouldn't happen again.
Disappointing First experience
Placed first order as my wife wanted to try, I was skeptical but decided to order the selection. Overall the quality of the sweets are Ok but the customer service and response to enquiries poor, I received no notification of shipment and a one liner when enquired. I have to say that i was expecting a four pouches as pictured and it was not until i double checked the order on receipt see it only comes with the 3x500g, so in my opinion if you order via a mobile device it could be seen as misleading.
In summary at £6.67 for 200g it I see this as a premium level price point, and whilst the Liquorice taste is nice, my experience is that the service levels do not reflect a quality experience or price point. We will continue to try the remaining Liquorice but cannot see any incentive of placing future orders.
UPDATE: Absolutely no change in score and very tempted to lower to 2 stars, company did reach out and did admit potential misleading images. I would highlight that I have not responded as the correspondence was poor and full of we did this and that !! BUT they did little until prompted, also implying delay was due to high demand, which translates to lack of resource and CS. we have finished all bags now and stand by comment that the quality did not reflect the price point of this product and not much different to some of the good high street brands. Would not be recommending or endorsing this brand.

We are sorry to hear that this customer was disappointed with their experience. We have reached out to them but have not had any response so far.
However, we would like to clarify that automatic emails were sent confirming both the order and subsequent dispatch, including the Royal Mail tracking reference and tracking link. We also responded again with the same tracking information when the customer contacted us directly.
Whilst our reply was brief, it contained the key delivery information required and was sent during an unexpected technical issue affecting multiple orders simultaneously.
We have also taken on board the feedback regarding the Discovery Bundle imagery on mobile devices and are reviewing this to make the distinction between bundle options even clearer going forward.
UPDATE We are sorry that this customer remains dissatisfied with their experience.
However, we do feel it is important to clarify a few points again for accuracy. Order confirmation and dispatch emails were both successfully sent, including Royal Mail tracking information, and we also responded again directly with the tracking link when contacted.
This order itself was dispatched within our stated timescales despite "high demand".
Regarding the Discovery Bundle, we acknowledged that a small number of customers (2 in fact) have commented that the main image could potentially cause confusion, despite the product options themselves stating the correct contents clearly. As a result, we immediately started reviewing the wording and imagery to make this even clearer going forward.
We always try to respond honestly and constructively to feedback, even where we may not fully agree with all aspects of a review.

Absolutely amazing customer service from Patricia. She sorted my issue with the shipping address almost immediately and requested my order to go out straightaway so my Mum could receive her birthday present and it did! I will definitely be buying from this company again.

The weight was unfortunately omitted in error and has now been updated. The product is only around 5g less than similar items, although we appreciate images can sometimes give a different impression.

This is a review of 5 different bags of liquorice in our sweet English Favourites bundle. This selection is made up of traditional mainly English-style liquorice, which is characteristically sweeter than other varieties. Many of our customers enjoy this style, although we appreciate it won’t suit every preference.
As this was a mixed selection, each bag can vary, and it sounds like only one item has been tried so far.
We haven’t received any direct contact regarding this order, but our Customer Services team is always available should you need any assistance.

This particular mix is one of our best-selling selections and is clearly described as containing a wide variety of liquorice types, including a small number of softer/gummy styles alongside more traditional pieces. Many of our customers enjoy this balance, although we appreciate it may not suit every preference.

I’ve bought better in my local store for a fraction of the cost
If I could have given a zero rating, I would have done so.
After being repeatedly targeted by Facebook adverts, I suggested my son visit the My Liquorice website as he was looking for a Mother’s Day gift. In my opinion, the “free gift” promotion was not clearly explained. My son, likely working within a budget, ordered a smaller item and did not qualify, which I believe could have been avoided had the terms been presented more transparently.
In my opinion, the product quality is comparable to items readily available in local shops at a significantly lower price.
When I raised these concerns, I was advised to unsubscribe from the mailing list.
When reviewing a product, I tend to look at the lower ratings first. I noted that this company has received a number of such reviews. For a fuller understanding, it may be helpful to read the company’s responses, which, in my view, could be interpreted as lacking clarity and may come across as dismissive toward potential customers. This may not create the most positive impression for prospective buyers.

To clarify, your son ordered 1x200g of British Mix and it was delivered within 2 days and there was no issue with the quality of the liquorice itself (that surely deserves more than a 1 star !) The concern raised related solely to a misunderstanding about a free gift promotion on Facebook, which is clearly outlined and applies only when a qualifying product (500g Gourmet Mix) is purchased. This is an offer that thousands of customers have taken advantage of and enjoyed and not one customer has ever complained like this.
We responded promptly to your enquiry and apologised for the misunderstanding ( numerous times) explaining how the promotion works. After you said "But you can rest assured we will not be bothering you again with any further orders. We will ofcouse also be sharing our experience.............Goodbye.....No further contact please" so we merely provided information on how to unsubscribe from E mails and texts, as requested.
We do make every effort to ensure our offers and product details are clearly explained, and we stand by both the quality of our promotions, products and the service provided in this instance.
In terms of reviews, we would respectfully clarify that we do not have “a number” of recent negative reviews. In fact, the last such review prior to this was 6 months ago, and before that was in 2022! Where genuine issues arise, we address them, take responsibility, and offer appropriate resolutions—this is reflected in our responses.

HI Derek, thank you so much for your review. We do normally send orders out on the same day we receive them, and then it's 48 hr/2 days for post. It is true that at the moment we have more orders than we can deal with. We have taken on more staff and may soon need a bigger warehouse and we do hope to get back to 'normal' delivery soon. Fantastic Custmer service!
I recently placed an order for passion fruit liquorice, which unfortunately after a good few weeks hadn't arrived. I emailed Customer Services & received a prompt reply stating they would find out what had happened in transit as the order had been sent out for delivery. "Myliquorice" tracked & found the product, asking me to check delivery instructions, whereby I noticed my postcode was incorrect, My Error, argh! They quickly got this amended with carrier & my order arrived successfully. Their customer service went above & beyond expectation, well done & thank you to Patricia! Now I am enjoying this delicious product, which is simply the best I've ever tasted!

I received my first order yesterday
I received my first order yesterday, I had ordered the 500g bag which came with a free 200g bag of my choice. I can honestly say I was made up with the variety in both bags. I have had liquorice from several countries but never as good as this. The variety, flavour and texture is as good as it gets. I can’t keep my hand out of the bag.
Such a great product, value and delivery.
