I spoke to Alex at the switch shop really helpful chap polite courteous, knowledgeable and took responsibility for choosing the Right switch for dimming downlights. I highly recommend this company for advice and purchasing the Right switch.

Being the first time ordering light switches for a small project I had a lot of questions and follow ups on Varilight products which might have been trivial and paltry to some but Alex from myswitchshop.com (MSS) offered me his email address and patiently journeyed with me on each and everyone of them.

The MSS team responded to my emails promptly whilst managing my expectations on delivery dates well with clear updates each step of the way. The MSS team are by far the most technically knowledgeable, and their inventory of Varilight products the widest at very fair prices.

I needed to have my items delivered to Singapore and MSS's workflow for international orders was fast and efficient.

I'm from Asia where customer service is provided efficiently 24/7 but unfortunately we may not have the best quality across all products yet which is why I had to source for premium hardware from the UK. My experiences dealing with UK companies were revealing but thankfully salvaged by the excellent standards maintained by MSS.

We found myswitchshop a few years ago when my mum had to buy all new sockets for her house, the range was great then and has only gotten better. I recently had to purchase all my sockets, and not only was the initial order and help we received super smooth, but we had one small issue after and the CS team were super swift with their help and in resolving the issue. So, so good, I can't recommend them any more.

This was my third order from my switch shop and had a great experience each time. Staff have been helpful and the orders have been dispatched and delivered very quickly (this most recent order was delivered next day despite ordering a couple of hours after the cut-off time).

Paul and Alex have been incredibly helpful. I ran into some trouble assembling a 2-gang Powergrid module, faceplate, and substrate, but they expertly guided me through diagnosing the issue. They even offered to replace the parts, including the faceplate, which had been scratched by the electrician.

I've bought from them before and have always found their products reliable and their customer service outstanding. It’s rare to find support that’s both patient and knowledgeable these days. I’d highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for switches.

Dispatched timely, but that's not all.

It's inevitable that retailers may occasionally send products that aren't up-to-date, and it was impressive how 1StopElectrics (aka My Switch Shop) dealt with the situation.

So I bought a dimmer, and what I actually received was its previous version which missed a few features that I needed. I explained the situation and they happily offered me a free exchange - they covered nearly £18 of the resulting delivery cost, which was more than the price of the dimmer itself. Given I had to leave the UK by the end of that week, they even offered to pay for next-day delivery.

It's far from the first time that I purchase Varilight dimmers from 1StopElectrics, and I'll definitely stick to them in the event of future needs.

I've had to order myriad items whilst managing an extension and renovation project, and Myswitchshop are probably one of the best shopping experiences I've had. Extremely competitive pricing, items well packaged and arrived on time, and dealt with misordered items, return of ununsed items, and replacement of a faulty socket with ease and minimal fuss. No annoying hoops to jump through, just straighforward all round. Alex in particular has been super helpful, thanks a lot. Will use these guys again with no hesitation.

My Switch shop is fine but let down by the courier APC who had my parcel out for delivery on two consecutive days and returned it to the depot both times. Finally delivered by a chap on his way home.
