Warning to travelers: SWISS cancelled my booking and confirmed a full refund to Mytrip, but Mytrip still withheld 533.52 CNY for add-ons I never used and refused to refund it in writing. I strongly advise people to avoid booking through Mytrip and to think carefully before paying extra fees.
Poor customer service during flight…
Poor customer service during flight disruption – would not use again
I booked flights to Islamabad for 17 March through Mytrip. Five days before departure, the airline cancelled the flight due to the situation in the Middle East. While I understand that this was outside of Mytrip’s control, the way the situation was handled was extremely disappointing.
I contacted customer support multiple times to find alternative flights, but the experience was very poor:
I was left on hold for over 3 hours before the call was disconnected Live chat repeatedly stopped responding and eventually disconnected I was transferred between teams despite asking not to be I was told there were no flights available for several days
This information was misleading. I was later able to find alternative routes myself for the following day with other airlines. At no point was it clearly explained that their options were restricted to the original airline only.
After spending an entire day trying to resolve this, I was effectively pushed toward cancelling and requesting a refund.
To their credit, I did eventually receive a full refund after escalating the issue. However, the overall customer service experience fell far below expectations. The lack of clear communication, excessive wait times, and difficulty getting support made an already stressful situation significantly worse.
Based on this experience, I would not use Mytrip again and would strongly recommend booking directly with airlines to avoid similar issues.

MyTrip cancelled my EgyptAir booking (Order number 1101-365-910) themselves due to the Iran war, yet they shamelessly refused to refund the full amount. EgyptAir confirmed I am entitled to the full 119 KWD, but MyTrip only returned 75 KWD and is deliberately withholding the rest. This is not just incompetence—it is outright fraud.

Paid for 30kg Luggage — MyTrip Failed to Notify Airline, Forced to Pay Again
I purchased a 30kg luggage add-on through MyTrip for my flight. When I arrived at the airport, the airline had no record of this and I was forced to pay for the same 30kg luggage again at a premium — money I cannot afford to lose.
I have attempted to resolve this through:
- Live chat (agent was unable to issue a refund)
- Email to support (they sent me a form to complete)
- Completed the refund form 5–6 days ago with no resolution
MyTrip sold me a service they failed to deliver. I paid for luggage allowance that was never communicated to the airline, leaving me out of pocket twice for the same thing.
I am happy to update this review immediately if MyTrip contacts me and resolves this refund without further delay. My booking reference is 1122-414-374.
Until then, I strongly caution others to verify any add-ons directly with their airline before travel when booking through MyTrip.
Unable to access booking – Flexible ticket unusable
I cannot even access my booking because the MyTrip website constantly shows an error page after login or email confirmation.
I paid extra for a flexible ticket but it is impossible to modify anything since the booking page is inaccessible.
Customer support cannot be reached through the website, which makes the paid service unusable.
Very frustrating experience. I hope MyTrip contacts me quickly to resolve this situation.
MyTrip - The worst company and customer service to buy a flight tickets
I bought a flight on MyTrip and they changed my flight time with less the 48 hours. I contacted them to tell them that I had made arrangements and I need my flight to be on the time I booked it.
They are keeping me waiting for at least 3 and half hours now. The have been keeping checking on me if i have left and when I reply 'yes I am here waiting.' They desapeare. I started the chat 20:52 and now 00:40. What a SHAM! Don't use this company if you want travel without trouble.

I want to warn everyone about the manipulative refund scheme used by Mytrip (Booking ID: 1118-741-765). They don't just deny refunds; they use a calculated 3-stage process to wear you down:
Stage 1: The Total Denial (The "No-Show" Lie)
My flight on March 2nd was impossible due to the official closure of UAE airspace (Force Majeure). I contacted them on March 1st, which they initially ignored. When I asked for a refund, they flatly refused, claiming I was a "No-Show." They hope you will panic and give up your entire €912 right here.
Stage 2: The "Fake Compromise" (The €156 Theft)
Once I proved I had contacted them timely, they switched to Plan B. They agreed to a refund but claimed €156 (for seating and taxes) was "non-refundable per airline policy." This is a psychological trick: they make you feel relieved to get something back so you "gift" them the €156 difference. It’s pure profit for the agency.
Stage 3: The Instant "Miracle"
The moment I demanded a formal rejection notice for my lawyers and mentioned an active Chargeback with my bank in Cyprus, the "non-refundable" €156 suddenly became refundable.
Conclusion: Mytrip is not a travel agent; they are professional manipulators. They will lie to your face about airline policies until they realize you are legally prepared to fight. DO NOT ACCEPT PARTIAL REFUNDS. Demand everything and threaten them with a Chargeback immediately.

Flight was cancelled by the airline . We were on the phone for 3 hours and got cut off , chat does not work . They sent you to contact airline and airline sent to contact agency . Why this agency even recommend contacting airlines when they know airlines will not deal with the travel agency bookings. Other people who is a similar situation are able to contact their travel agency ! I wish I read reviews and didn’t use them .

Almost impossible to get hold of anyone to help when a delay caused a missed connection, then they proceeded to tell me because I had checked baggage I would not qualify to have my onwards flight rebooked or refunded, even though my delay meant I'd landed after the next flight had already left - baggage had nothing to do with it l. Disappointing, would never use again and would warn anyone from using them. Really weak customer care.
Appears to be a real honest travel agent
Used only once so far. Had positive experience as free of charge they were informing about flight delays, etc. One of the few honest solid looking businesses in what suddenly has become a very dodgy world of online travel agents

I booked a flight through Mytrip, but one of the flights was canceled. Mytrip explicitly offered the option to cancel the entire journey and receive a refund, which I accepted immediately.
Since then, I have been waiting for my money for over a month. I have sent multiple emails and follow-ups, but all I receive are generic responses like “we have escalated this to the concerned team” or “we are waiting for the airline”. No concrete updates, no timeline, and no refund.
As of February 2, 2026, I still have not received my refund.
What makes this worse is that some of their email addresses don’t even accept replies, and communication feels intentionally slow and unhelpful. Customer support keeps asking for patience, but patience does not replace accountability.
I would strongly not recommend booking through Mytrip unless you are prepared for long delays and poor customer service if anything goes wrong.

Tried to book flights multiple times with them and each time they want to charge me a higher fare once I have already filled out all the information and all the data has been inputed!! Seems like THAT'S what they do - get you excited and once you put in all the work already raise the rates... doesn't seem trustworthy at all

I am writing this to report a serious issue and a completely unauthorized transaction by MyTrip.
On December 17, 2025, I attempted to book a flight (Order ID: 1101722733) from Istanbul (SAW) to Abu Dhabi (AUH) with Air Arabia. At the final stage, I received an official email from MyTrip stating that the transaction failed due to a bank-related issue and the booking was cancelled. Based on this official confirmation, I purchased another ticket through a different bank/provider.
However, on December 18, 2025 (one day later), MyTrip processed the previously "cancelled" transaction without my consent or any further authorization, and charged my account again.

Departure: 13.01.2025 - SAW to AUH (00:10)
Return: 19.01.2025 - AUH to SAW (18:50)
I have contacted customer service multiple times via phone and email. Despite being told that the issue is being reviewed, I have received no positive outcome or refund.
This is an unauthorized charge for a service that was explicitly confirmed as "failed/cancelled" by the company itself. I demand an immediate full refund of the unauthorized charge. If this is not resolved promptly, I will escalate the matter through a formal chargeback process with my bank and contact relevant consumer protection authorities.
billet fantôme my bad trip
J'ai réservé un billet d'avion en mars 2025 pour un vol bkk hkg. Ce vol a été annulé par la compagnie et remboursé. Jusque là tout va bien... Il y a 2 jours, j'ai reçu un email m'informant que mon voyage approchait ( 4 décembre), en cliquant sur ma réservation, info vol annulé, ça m'a stressé, j'ai tenté de tchatter en ligne, on m'a répondu qu'ils ne pouvaient rien. Du coup j'ai acheté 2 autres billets pour ma femme et moi... C'est un peu après que je me suis rendu compte qu'ils m'ont induit en erreur. J'avais déjà fait un autre achat pour ce 4 décembre auprès d'une autre agence. Donc, cet e-mail que je qualifierai de fantôme n'aurait pas être émis, du coup j'ai dépensé 250 euros pour rien

First and last time I will use Mytrip…called them 5 times to chase up my fast track passes, never received them. Could have done with the fast track passes at Luton airport as the queue for security was very long, no time to enjoy a meal or even a drink, only made the connecting flight with seconds to spare. Only received partial refund for missed flight on outward journey, emails ignored chasing up explanation. Awful customer service.
