They moved their loan to AMP. Worst thing is they have added the "Unregistered Dealings" in the Title. Which means now i am unable refinance to AMP. I have called AMP 10 times and they have no idea... Toon meer

Really happy
Really happy. First time have refinanced my loan without using a Mortgage broker. Nano made the process really easy and helped step it through. Touched base with me regularly to see how I had progressed with documents ect.
Only settled a couple of days ago though the app seems to have everything that is needed. Shows and breaks down transactions and interest. Only thing with app is it has crashed a couple of times though I am sure this will be resolved over time considering how new NANO is.

Home Refinance
The whole process from my first inquiry to the final settlement was very quick and professional , all the staff I dealt with were very helpful and kept me well informed through each step.
This would be the easiest and quickest process of refinancing that I have experienced and can not praise Nano Digital Home Loans enough.
I would highly recommend Nano Digital home Loans if you are looking for a new home loan that will save you money.

Can attest that it was very painless to switch. Decent level of updates as it proceeded, both online and via calls.
Withheld one star as while the app is pretty swish and inter-bank transfers are instant, it needs a couple extra features (particularly, scheduled (bill) payment and the ability to export transactions).

Seamless transition from traditional bank finance.
Seamless transition from traditional bank financing, with great communication via SMS and personal phone service. Despite various fixed term and discounted variable offers with confusing comparison rates, a true low rate variable with offset proved to suit our situation the best at this time. Excellent customer service and would recommend to those considering moving away from higher variable and fixed rates at the banks.

Finally home loan re-financing has come of age.
Finally home loan re-financing has come of age. Simple to apply with a quick response and conditional approval within 24-48 hours. An impressive interest rate that couldn't be beat. No hidden costs. A good use of technology. No filling out endless paper forms and documentation. The customer service team were friendly and helpful, staying in contact through to settlement of finance. Only delay in whole process was waiting for outgoing finance institution. Post settlement the NANO banking app allows you to maintain control over the home loan along with payments and withdrawals using your smartphone. Well done NANO. Would happily recommend to anyone looking to refinance their home loan.

So far so good
So far so good. Everything from Nano side happened so fast, with respect to refinancing. Had a concern about the time that it would take to some cash out of the offset account in an emergency. Apparently, that is instantaneous though transferring into Nano takes more than a day.

Outstanding from start to finish
Outstanding from start to finish. So much more flexible and efficient compared to the majors. A real disruptor. I wouldn't bother going to a broker or to a major financial institution. You simply can't beat the price and the service/follow up was surprisingly good. The Bank of Melbourne literally took months to process our refinancing application. Clearly the layers of bureaucracy within the bank let it down, so during the interim, I stumbled upon Nano via a web search and one day later the application was approved. The Nano banking app is also a real win, with automatic offsetting and ease of use. So impressed. By the way, the BOM never got back to us with a decision. Pathetic!

Very smooth process
Can’t complain about a single thing. Sorted everything out, there was very little in the way of paperwork, very communicative, and their bank and home loan app is excellent. And no fees for anything. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

The easiest loan application process - by far!
Rethinking the application process with technology makes so much sense and makes you wonder why the old institutions are so stuck in their way.
As this is a fairly new service, expect a few kinks in the UX & automated comms - nothing substantial, and can easily be fixed in future updates.
Update: The Nano team reached out to learn of those tiny kinks so they can fix them - AAA for customer service!

Painless
Having worked as a contractor for more than 20 years I have had numerous home loans over the years and each time the process of verifying income and expenses has been a long winded exercise. I was with the same bank for that time and yet each time the same lengthy process. Nano have simplified this process and more thoroughly examined my finances than any other application I have done in the past. Yet I applied from my couch and was approved within minutes not weeks. The whole process has been the most smooth, painless application I have done. Nano have communicated the whole way and provided updates and I can not fault any part of the process. Outstanding!

A fairly painless process and was done fairly quick as well and compared to a refinance we did with a Major Bank a while a world of difference. My only suggestion is the comms side was a little wanting in a couple of instances mainly for the longer steps where there is a bit of an air gap but other then that pretty good all round.

Positives:
Quick approval process
Helpful Customer Service.
No fees :)
Negatives:
No web-based Internet Banking - if you lose your phone you may be in a spot of bother.
A separate legal firm manages settlement; communication between them and Nano is not great and I had to ring between them multiple times to get a mistake in my contract resolved. Additionally, lack of communication resulted in a delay to settlement as well, by a week.

Dissappointing.
Dissappointing.
1. We were asked about there whereabouts of a document which we were never provided to execute (discharge authority). It took us 6 phone calls to Nano to work out that the Nano third party had forgotten to send it to us in the first place. 6 phone calls from us to Nano. 6!
2. After settlement we are told that we cannot make extra or more frequent repayments into the loan account. Highly misleading given the FAQs on the Nano website says "You can pay off your home loan faster by either making larger or more frequent repayments, depositing additional funds into your offset sub account, or by shopping around for a better deal. " We acknowledge that by depositing funds into the off-set account, that will reduce the interest payable, however we were of the view that we could lower the actual loan balance by making either larger repayments each time or ad-hoc additional repayments. So we feel Nano has misled us in this regard.
