Great platform and super helpful customer service

Easy to use, and excellent reporting functions. Able to import all of my past trades; just had to fix up some consolidations. This tool has given me insight into my investments that I wish I'd had years ago.

Friendly even when it didn’t get off to the smoothest start. I think I kept trying to upload my portfolios during an outage. But staff were quick to assist me and notify me when it was back online. Even after only using Navexa for a short period of time. I can see how it’s going to save an incredible amount of time and stress and with the additional tools. Some key insights to my portfolio I’d been missing. Remember to watch the videos available on YouTube. They help!

The platform seems to offer everything I need to try and get my investing tied together in one space that will give me options and education to make great decisions moving forward as I am not as tech savvy as most. I am excited to be able to learn with the help of the team at Navexa.

Simple to upload stocks and crypto trade history. Dividend and tax information is great. I now also consolidate together with bank accounts. Easy to navigate. Great tool at reasonable price.

James was amazing to sort out a user created glitch quickly and promptly. He communicated frequently and was very polite and friendly. This is a great product. It will save me many hours of managing my self funded retiree father's portfolio on Excel and provide excellent insurance against inadvertent deletion or overtyping. It also enables me to manage the portfolio remotely. In addition, it provides up to date tracking of his shares and handles Capital Gains Tax Adjustments and transactions simply and effectively (my main requirement).

Really looking forward to getting the most out of navexa just got to find the time!!

Overall easy to use for a newbie like myself. I particularly liked that the software can link directly to my broker and update data.
Any questions I had were answered by Google, which made my life much easier also.

Started with paid version and tried to import old trades. OK but many issues which I know I need to go through to individualy correct BUT, the whole point of going with them was that they say you can set up an automatic upload with your brokers in Australia. I use Stake and NAB. Neither of them have a second email facility to forward the trade confirmations directly to Navexa (this is what their instructions advise). You'd think they would test this out before writing the wrong instructions! After talking to the "AI support Bot" it pointed me in the direction of forwarding the emails I received from the broker to the unique Navexa email. Unfortunately, this did not work as Navexa did not recognise it when "forwarded". After a lot of research on the net I managed to use a "redirect" (Mac Mail) which worked for one broker but not the other. If I am making several trades I do not wish to import every individual trade to Navexa given this was the main reason for using them. On purchase, apparently I have an onboarding call but I have received no link to do so or any information about how to contact them for this call. I do not know how to let them know that their system does not work as all I get is the Bot"! I should have known it was too good to be true with a 5 minute response time ! Regards, Mike

Hey, I tried this for 2 weeks before signing up, I was trialing both Navexa and Sharesight and Navexa outperforms with their UI on multiple occasions.

I also prefer the Navexa tax systems as they are more configured for Australia.

Finally, this is a local company

We have just spent nearly 2 weeks getting our data into Navexa.
I was trying to run our portfolio in a standard accounting program. This has process has shown us how wrong our holdings have been. Even getting what and how much we own right has been an experience. So many things were wrong.
We should have done this years ago.
Now we can clearly see what we are doing and where we are going. Decision making just became a lot easier.
I would highly recommend Navexa to anyone with a share/investment portfolio, and would suggest that starting it early in the investment cycle would be a lot easier than bringing in data from over 20 years ago, because we still hold some of them.
But we got there.

I was initially hesitant about signing up for Navexa (or Sharesight for that matter). I'd seen examples of investors managing their affairs quite well with spreadsheets etc. But, for a newbie like myself, understanding the ins and outs of just investing was more than enough without then worrying how I would track parcels of shares to ensure my taxes were submitted correctly. So, I tried Navexa for a 2 week trial. Was really simple to auto import trades from CMC Invest, I also add in trades from international markets and Navexa then shows information I wouldn't have even thought of such a currency gains etc. After the trial was up, I signed up for a year ( I even received a 20% discount using a code from a YT channel). I believe I can claim these fees as a tax deduction, so win/win I think. I haven't specifically had to use support as such, but the team always seem to be working on bringing in new functionality or improving existing screens etc. The online FAQ section is quite good and they show you how to do things in a easily understood way. Try it. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Fundamentals

There is a fundamental requirement for excellent bookkeeping and for many years, with modern day time restraints and quite frankly lack of knowledge as to how and in a manner acceptable to a range of stakeholders, Navexa is THE BOMB!

Do yourself a favour, test if for 14 days and find out just how good it is.

I heard about it months ago and have viewed all their YouTube info videos, and I am so happy I made the decision to invest in their programme!

I have to restart my portfolio many times until they got it wright and there are many exchanges they don’t support like Hong Kong. Their automatization is not great you have to do so many things manually

Easy to use tool that allows to track true portfolio performance. Many options to customise how data is displayed.

Great service and excellent 'chat' support

I like the relative simplicity, especially when it comes to tax time.
What I don't particularly like is the lack of ability to export all data.
The import functionality is good, but there are some pitfalls and inconsistencies, so checking against the actual contract notes is essential.
It would be very helpful to have the ability to have a cash account for each currency, but that's not currently possible, despite the ability to set the currency for cash accounts.
