Didn't send two pre orders when they were in stock - wouldn't send refund and stopped replying to emails - Barclaycard eventually gave me a refund on both items.
Please avoid this company. If you have used partial.ly pay contact them directly for help
I placed a pre order in 2021 for the mandolorain set of grogu.
Phoned in the first year for a update, they didn't know when it would be released but I felt reassured. Hand no communication after this.
Received the blanket email in April 2023 about the company.
I saw all the news of people having issue with their orders and money, so decided to contact him for a refund.
Found Facebook pages for the company have been removed and contact phone number. Tried to email and had no communication.
If anyone has paid with a partial.ly plan, please contact them directly as they have been amazing and refunded my whole order.
PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY IN FUTURE!!!

I would recommend all those who are owed money by Jason McQuade and Nerd Toys to follow the correct procedure and go to the small claims court. I know the £35 cost might put people off, and you still may not get your money back, but it means that Jason doesn’t just get to walk away with our money, as CCJ’s have a real influence on your credit score. I must say there have been some strange goings on with the reviews on here, it seems some have been getting response from Jason, and one or two have suddenly removed their negative reviews from Trustpilot! Interestingly, although I haven’t had any contact from Jason whatsoever since the CCJ was issued, I have been getting a huge amount of PHISHING emails to the email address I had been using to contact him……….maybe it’s just a coincidence, I can’t imagine Jason would stoop that low……….

'Pre-ordered' a 1/6th scale Delorean.
'Pre-ordered' a 1/6th scale BTTF Delorean way back in May '22. Since then, I've had zero updates and this fly-by-night company has £80 of my money in form of a deposit. Either this guy Jason doesn't exist, is a con man or this company are purely charlatans. I can't believe the website is still up and running. Give me my money back you thieves.
*UPDATE* I contacted partial.ly and got a full refund. Worth doing so if you have used them to set up a payment plan; I had a 'contract' from Nerd so fortunately had proof of purchase. What a total scam. Jason is a thief.

I'm another customer eagerly awaiting a pre-order product that has been shipped elsewhere with no response from Jason / Nerd Toys. I know they sent a blanket email saying they were sorry and would fix things but still no progress/updates. Pre-orders payments are only protected for 6 months too so many people wont get their money back! Luckily Paypal have sorted me as a "gesture of goodwill." I used nerd toys previously with no issues and have tried to be patient but these are expensive goods and the lack of communication is frustrating!

Warning - don’t use this company
Nerd Toys used to be a great company - one of my first port of calls for orders. However over the course of the past year it’s totally gone downhill.
For months I’ve been asking for an update on hundreds of pounds worth of pre-orders and haven’t had a single response. Looking at other reviews here it’s obvious mine isn’t an isolated case so I recommend avoiding buying from this company.

Total con you order items I paid over 5 months through partial pay to order and you can't contact them by either email or Facebook to find out why your account with them says you haven't paid in full, their email according to them has been down for months now this is no way to run a company or keep customers.
Very bad customer service
Ordered an item back in November 2022, heard nothing for months, emailed several times with no answer, got an email April this year saying they were expecting stock in May. Still haven't heard anything and have sent subsequent emails with no answer. Not much to ask to be kept up to date with what's happening with your purchase. They were quick to take the money for the order..... Absolutely terrible customer service.

I pre ordered an item Aug 2022 that was due for release November 2022. I emailed them a few times before I got a response and they said I'd received my order in the next 10 days (this was back in April). I've been emailing them again (July/August 2023) and trying to get them to respond is like trying to get blood from a stone!
Should not be taking peoples money still
I have tried to contact this company many times about the items I had on pre-order with them. The items are now readily available and I have sourced elsewhere. I have been ignored for many emails and have just sent the last email trying to get my money back, with no hope really.
I get that companies can get into trouble through no fault of their own but the lack of communication and the fact that the site is still accepting money does not sit well with me.
