Cancelled my order on the 23/06/22 as I was fed up of waiting for it to be fulfilled.
Was told the refund would be processed on the 27/06/22 when he was back in the office.
I then chased it up on 19/07/22 and threatened doing a chargeback. This got his attention. However, claimed there was a fire nearby so couldn't get to the office 😅 And then all of a sudden, he managed to battle the local flames and visited the office. Refund was processed, and due to my troubles and the poor customer service offered by his staff (not him 🙄), he offered me a MOTU Origins figure on the house. Chased it up 2 months later, and apparently it had been sent. He did get involved with another retailer to selling toys so beware! I do have screenshots in Facebook messenger of all his lies too, although it would appear Nerd Toys have disappeared off social media now!
I HAVE TRIED TO BE PATIENT
I like many others put in a pre order over 18 months ago which has been released for ages. They took the money upfront and have never sent me the item. I have emailed them more times than I can remember to multiple email addresses to absolutely no response. How this website is still operational is beyond me. Fortunately my item was not a fortune but that's not the point. I feel for the people that will have spent a fortune. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. They should be brought up on criminal charges

Unfortunately my experience is per the majority of the reviews on here. Extremely disappointed. I pre-ordered a hot toys in August 2022 due to be delivered in June yet the figure has still not arrived. My full payment went through in advance. I have tried to email the company many times since then (to multiple addresses) and have never received a reply. No contact number on the website. I just want my money back at this point. Bank are now investigating and their website is still running and taking orders?! Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely a disaster and a disgrace of a company. I don't normally leave a bad review but never felt so scammed before ordering a collection piece. I have escalated a dispute in correspondence with my bank regarding the money they have stolen from me. And guess what? They are still trying to remove money from my account as my bank tells me they have had to put a block on it. Im 50/50 whether i will get my hard earned money back from these thieves. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER WITH THESE FRAUDSTERS

Like others I had preorders and was worried. Thankfully after a lot of patience Jason was as good as his word and refunded me.
It's a shame about what's happening but please be patient with him. I know it's frustrating.

Do not pre order anything.
Charged me for pre orders that were never sent. After many weeks of promises to reimburse me they sent an email of a reimbursement invoice that was fraudulent. The bank is investigating them.

Disappointing no problems at first and Nerd Toys was my go to for collecting.
Don't know what has happened but no reply when trying to contact.
Had a few items on order for a couple of years now that I never received and now probably lost out on those figures!

I think Banks & PayPal need to start taking responsibility. Same as everyone else I paid via CC but they said as was over 12 months tough. I made an official complaint ..... citing all the reviews on here. Big win my bank has now taken the money back from Jason's bank. Now its up to Jason to prove his honesty. Not gonna happen .... but at least I got my money back.

Don't buy from this company. Made a pre order in October. Still hasn't arrived and it was due out in March. Email after email sent and they have all been ignored. PayPal unwilling to help as well. AVOID this company at all costs, they will scam you out of money and never send the item.
Jason McQuade (Nerd Toys)
Jason McQuade, who owns Nerd Toys and attempted success when he opened another online store called Nerd Horror (that didnt last long) has disappointed me a great deal. I have purchased loads of dolls from him in the past from Nerd Toys and we had a good online/telephone friendship as myself and my daughter have spent thousands in his online shops. Recently his new online store Nerd Horror, he has had to let go of as he was in financial difficulty. His original shop Nerd Toys is still up and running online and taking orders but i would be very cautious of this when placing an order, as he has even spoken about maybe having to give that up also but he is trying to hold onto how he describes it as "his baby". If you read all the other negative reviews i can agree with them all, (Jason also told me himself that people have lost their money and orders due to his closure). However, i was one of the lucky ones that after many months of listening to all his excuses of where the orders were, i have finally just received a refund. This maybe due to once having a good raport with him and he maybe feeling guilty towards my daughter and i. When i kept chasing Jason up about receiving either my orders or or refund, he would ignore calls and msgs then eventually get back to me with excuses in why he hadnt replied, one time he said he has a new job and he is working all the hours he can so he can pay me my refund.... "trying to make me feel guilty". He also sent out an email to me about his financial difficulties etc. I felt sorry for Jason as he had hit rock bottom financially and emotionally. However when i placed my latest two orders he must of known he was in difficulty and should not of allowed a purchase. Being messed about by Jason and all the excuses about where the order was and the apparent default on one so he sent it back (???) was effecting my mental health, the amount of chasing i had to do in order to get my refund was extremely stressful. Months of worry, tears and anxiety. I am grateful in getting my money back but i had to bite my tongue and play nice to secure the refund.
Thanks to reading one of the reviews, i have learnt that paying by Paypal only gives you refunds up to a certain amount of days from purchase, which i will now not be using for this reason, when purchasing Pre-Orders via any other store.
I would avoid this shop or at the very least do NOT make any Pre-Orders.

I've ordered from this company for years,I know over the last month there has be some difficulty with the shop moving and their current email address not working. Jason is normally extremely reliable.i have not been able to make contact with him for a month now , regarding my preorder. I used partial for my pre-order. Explained I didn't know what was going on because I couldn't get in touch with the vendor. They escalated to a management team and was refunded in full today's. I don't think this reflects what nerd toys. I just think something bad may of happened with the unusually absence of communication.

Never delivered. They replied saying it would be later in 2022. No delivery and have not replied to my multiple emails. Basically dishonest thiefs. Avoid this sham company at all costs.
