I received my chair but I'm missing 3 key components so I can't build it. I've contacted customer support 6 times and never received a response.

waiting patiently for my chair but its been over 6 months with no consistent updates/communication
there are many comments on the kickstarter page saying the chairs are being sold on tiktok shop and amazon, and newtral are fulfilling those orders first.

Chairs for the kickstarter were supposed to be delivered March and it is now august

Never got my order. You can buy the same chair on Tiktok with free shipping and get within a week. They scammed their Kickstarter backers that paid them over a million USD.

Also all the reviews about the pro table all mention "their son" and are 100% fake reviews by the company.

Avoid this company.

One star is more than they deserve. I have never received worse customer service in my life. I was told to expect my order in March, but it is August, and I’ve still received nothing. Emails and pleas for help go unanswered; any information I have received has been an outright lie. Hundreds of my dollars are gone without any explanation or anything to show for it. Please learn from my mistake; do not give this company a single cent.

It was only a matter of time before i got shafted on a kickstarter. It's been the better part of this year i've been waiting on a chair i purchased in February.

I've tried to be patient but collectively they have not updated us at all in over a month

Empty promises and and even more toxic customer base, dodging contact by changing email addresses, adding extra fees through a third party service...

I would not trust this company with a dime after the way they have so brazenly discarded thousands of customers in the face of adversity. This growing trend of businesses being dismissive of customers is increasingly troubling.

Scam. Bought a chair on kickstarter. Its been 6 months and I didn't receive my chair and can't get any response from newtral.

Last update on the Freedom chair almost 2 months ago, last thing I know because I found the vessel that carried my chair is that it was unloaded in UK 12 days ago. No tracking, no information or updates

I backed a Kickstarter campaign for the Newtral chair in February 2025 and paid $249, with an originally stated shipping estimate of March 2025. In March and April, I was asked to pay an additional $50 and $25 for tariffs and fees, bringing my total to $324.

In May, I reached out to inquire about the order still not being delivered and was told it would be prioritized. As of the end of July 2025, I have not received the product, nor have I received any updates. The Kickstarter campaign page itself has not been updated in over a month.

I’ve contacted the company multiple times via email, Kickstarter comments, and social media, but have not received a response. Based on public comments, it appears the company is replying to very few backers and has also changed its primary contact email address during this time.

Backers were also required to confirm their shipping information through a third-party platform, PledgeBox, with the understanding that we’d be able to track order status there. My order has remained locked and unupdated since the initial setup.

I understand delays can happen with crowdfunded products, and I’ve approached this campaign with patience and good faith. However, after nearly six months with no product and minimal communication, I feel the experience has been increasingly opaque and disappointing. At this point, I’ve paid $324 — $75 of which were additional unexpected fees — and still have nothing to show for it.

Backer 3332 It’s July and still no chair or tracking number. Newtral answered on my previous review and offered to communicate about the shipping, but their email is shut down probably due to the sheer amount of mails, and they do NOT answer the direct messages. This means they do not communicate with us, and as a European backer I would like to know exactly what’s going on.

I know some backers in USA have gotten their chair, but this is not the case for European backers. We have no tracking number, no info and the company does not in any way answer our messages.

Listen, Newtral, you need to communicate with us!!! And with an email that is dead, you cannot ask us to mail you. At least make a new email that can handle the requests.

Yes, I finally got my chair and the foot rest. The chair was in good condition, but the foot rest was drilled off-center, so that the top table is askew and not parallell to the bottom. I was promised a replacement from the team on Kickstarter, they said they would contact me but never did. Now my comment about it just drowned in all the messages on Kickstarter.

Edit 3 (July 2026) I have increased the score, as a gesture of good will since I actually received the chair in the end and the chair was a good as I had hoped. Also, they’re sending me a replacement of the foot rest that had a top that was rotated 6 degrees off the base.

Replacement foot rest received. I strongly recommend Newtral to answer customer concerns quickly with their next Kickstarter project. They say they used a third party company for their customer service, and I hope they will answer their own mails in the future. Newtral did follow up this case with good customer service once they got round to answering, and the chair I got is really good.

I am still waiting 5 months later...
No updates, no communication, no tracking, no CHAIR. This chair has cost over $300 and now it's too late to get a refund. How is this company operating legally? If you go to the message boards for this campaign, there are countless complaints all saying the same thing. They just stole our money. I will never use Kickstarter again.

Terrible communication, painfully slow delivery, misleading updates, and zero transparency. Trustpilot have also confirmed that they have taken action to remove fake reviews from this platform, which Newtral had used to inflate their TP score.

Absolutely terrible communication. Four months past the expected delivery date specified on Kickstarter, and I have no idea when (if ever) I will receive the items I backed.

Wife is a kickstarter back whom is being completely ignored and I believe scammed out of her money. No responses to repeated emails and no sign of any help coming. I think this company is a giant scam and I will continue to report dispute and reach out to any avenue until my wife gets the chair she ordered or her money back

No tracking number. Not enough updates. The comments here, on kickstarter, their socials from many disgruntled buyers should be enough to warn you. I was giving the benefit of the doubt, I thought I would wait patiently. But now I am doing a chargeback on my credit card. This product is MONTHS late. Which would be understandable if they were better with their communication. This is the most shambolic project, I don't see how it isn't a scam.

I've come back again to rate this product because Kickstarter doesn't seem to want to actually do what they say they will and verify that Creators do what they promise. It's been about two months since I received any information on my chair, and this seems to be pretty much the general consensus. While some have gotten their chairs, a majority of us haven't even gotten shipping information. Also, this company's support email never works even though they say they email us back. Don't be fooled by any Newtral comments in here, they do not answers us and their emails they say they saend absolutely aren't just sitting in spam. These are all just lies. I will continue to go after this company until they fix their sales or they stop their Kickstarter campaigns and scamming people.

I’m really enjoying the Newtral NT002! Initially, I was a bit concerned about the delivery time after reading some reviews, but Jimin provided excellent support with prompt and clear communication throughout. To my surprise, the chair arrived even faster than expected.

After spotting a better attachable table on the Newtral website, I decided to return mine, covering the return delivery charges — and that was a smooth transaction as well.

As for the chair itself, it’s a real treat for the lower back. While it’s not designed for sleeping reclines, it’s perfect for leaning back and watching movies with your legs extended. As a work-focused chair, it ticks all the right boxes. If you're looking for solid back support, this is a great choice!

I had backed the freedom-x chair. It looked interesting and I was interested in supporting the idea to get it off. I honestly forgot for a while until I got the email that shipping would be increased due to a miscalculation.

Sure, I get it and it was in the fine print that this was a possibility. What set me off was the second shipping increase in the span of a month due to tariffs. Nevermind the chairs were already made and supposedly in the US already. It sounds to me that that cost should've been offset to the final price of the chairs and not pushed off to your supports who had already paid beyond the agreed upon price. I had requested a refund, I was brushed off and resent the price increase email.

I finally got the chair, I missing two of the three additional accessories I signed up for. And as for the chair? Honestly not worth the $200+ save your money and invest in a more transparent company.

Cheap chair full of quality issues that you are expected to fix yourself. Useless customer service. BEWARE and AVOID. I’m stuck with an uncomfortable piece of junk.

I purchased a chair from Newtral Chair and was surprised to find that their return policy varies significantly between their printed manual and their website. The manual, which came with the product, failed to include critical information about the return process—specifically that once the chair is assembled, it cannot be returned. This important detail was only listed on their website, which I was not directed to consult before assembly.

When I reached out for a return, as the chair was broken and dirty. I was told I could only receive replacement parts as the product was not in it's original packaging and a partial refund, despite the fact that their own manual lacked this return restriction. To me, this felt like a classic case of a company enforcing stricter policies after the fact, while ignoring the documentation they provided to the customer at the time of delivery. Not to mention, how would I have seen the defects if it was in the original packaging?

This does not begin to cover the low quality product that they are marketing as a high end ergonomic office chair.

If you are looking to purchase I would highly reconsider.

Early backer on kickstarter, they got my money but I don't have a chair... Thus they "prioritized my shipping".
No replies to mails or DMs, not an update on Kickstarter... They collected millions and just scammed a whole bunch of people. Don't trust!!!
