The 8-week interview crash course is great, and has helped me immensely in my preparation for interviews. The content is taught well, and the tutors give excellent feedback on practice questions. I’d highly recommend this course to others preparing for their interviews.

My son attended 8 weeks crash course with NextGen medics. His feedback is outstanding & he feels this course has put him on the right track with solid foundations on which he is going to built further on. he feels they have covered all the important basics & contents for MMI stations with practical tips to deal with any difficulties esp prepared him to tackle difficult scenarios/ dilemmas etc. He strongly recommends this crash course.

The session was very useful. It gave an idea of what to expect and how to answer those questions. It was structured nicely with detail.

The Webinar session on preparing for the interview was excellent. It gave my son a clear idea of what an actual interview might be like. He also had the opportunity to participate, which was really useful, as he received feedback and got to test himself as if it were a real interview. He is looking forward to having one-on-one mock interview sessions.

I liked how detailed it was and how it went over to the time to actually explain everything and the different types of stations that are available.

They gave useful interview support, and detailed advice, all members were very friendly and supportive.

Amazing experience with Next Gen Medics
I recently gained admission for medicine into University of Birmingham and did so with the support of Next Gen medics through the UCAT and interview process.
I particularly would recommend the MMI circuit mocks as I was able to get tailored feedback from multiple tutors Ayaan, Maher, Prashanty and Aliyaan which was always extremely detailed and encouraging.
I found the company is very friendly and flexible with timings

I used Nextgen medics for my UCAT tutoring and had a great experience. The sessions were really well structured, with clear strategies and a strong focus on improving my weaker areas. My tutor Saffiya was really patient and supportive, and gave me tips on exam technique and time management that really helped me and made a difference on test day. ⭐ UCAT Prep Review – Nextgen Medics ⭐
I had the pleasure of preparing for the UCAT with Nextgen Medics, and I can confidently say that their tutoring team is both incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely supportive. Each tutor brought something unique to the table, and together they helped strengthen every aspect of my preparation. Here's a breakdown of my experience with each tutor for each subject:

Situational Judgement (SJT) – Aarish
• Aarish was outstanding — easily one of the most engaging tutors I’ve ever had.
• We didn’t just go through questions — we deeply analysed each scenario, explored all possible responses, and discussed the reasoning behind the "ideal" answers.
• He helped us understand the core values and ethics expected of a medical student or doctor, and how those translate into the UCAT SJT section.
• Aarish also took extra time to cover unconventional or tricky question types, which often catch candidates off-guard — his guidance here was invaluable.
• His lessons were interactive and thought-provoking, making a typically dry section really enjoyable.

Quantitative Reasoning (QR) – Bilal
• Bilal was very quick, concise, and sharp — perfect for a section like QR.
• We covered a wide variety of topics: finance, ratios, percentages, statistics, and probability, with many examples and practice questions.
• He taught us how to efficiently use the calculator, along with time-saving shortcuts to boost our score.
• That said, the pace was quite fast at times — I occasionally felt a bit lost — but he was always happy to answer questions and clarify doubts.
• Overall, his approach was focused on building speed and confidence, which is critical in QR.

Decision Making (DM) – Saffiya
• Saffiya was a very calm, friendly, and helpful tutor, who created a great learning environment.
• Her lessons and slides were well-structured and visually organised, covering the wide range of question types that make DM such a complex section.
• She guided us through the logical puzzles, mathematical problems, and syllogisms with clarity and efficiency.
• I appreciated how she broke down questions and offered tips for tackling each type effectively.
• One small improvement would be to include more of the rarer or less common DM question types in future sessions — otherwise, very satisfied!

Verbal Reasoning (VR) – Aymen
• Aymen was incredibly passionate about VR — and it showed through the extra mocks, practice sets, and resources she created for us.
• Her consistent testing kept us on our toes and helped us build both speed and accuracy.
• I loved the enthusiasm and dedication she brought to every session.
• One thing I would have liked more of was practice with longer or more ambiguous texts, as most of our examples were of easier to medium difficulty.
• Still, her commitment and support were unmatched, and I definitely saw progress in my performance thanks to her.

Final Thoughts:
All the tutors at Nextgen Medics were incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in our success. They each offered bonus guidance on the UCAT as a whole, not just their specific sections, and frequently shared extra tips, tricks, and resources.
I’m extremely grateful for everything they’ve done — this prep group has truly been a blessing for me during my UCAT journey. I feel far more confident and prepared because of their help.
