My tutor Bilal is patient, understanding, and has a wealth of knowledge about the subject matter. He always had really structured and well planned sessions. Bilal is approachable anytime, and is highly flexible with the scheduling of sessions, even with the time zone difference. Additionally, he continues the session until both parties feel satisfied, so he’s certainly not a clock-watcher.

This course was so helpful for improving my UCAT prep. The strategies taught were practical and make a big difference especially in the sections I was struggling with like VR and QR. The tutors are very competent and they are able to break things down clearly and they gave me solid methods to approach each question type. I appreciated how structures the course was, it was able to keep me on track and gave me a clear routine to follow. I recently took the NextGenMedics UCAT Crash Course, and it was genuinely one of the best decisions I made during my UCAT preparation.

The course was structured around each section of the exam, with dedicated expert tutors for every part. It included live teaching, timed practice, tips for each question type, and Q&A time after every session.

Quantitative Reasoning – Bilal
Bilal explained maths techniques in a clear, fast-paced way. His mental maths shortcuts and timing tips helped me boost both speed and accuracy, along with effective calculator shortcuts. He made the section feel less stressful and much more doable.

Decision Making – Saffiya
Saffiya broke down tricky concepts like logic puzzles and Venn diagrams with easy-to-follow methods. Her calm teaching style and focus on decision strategies really improved my confidence.

Verbal Reasoning – Aymen
Aymen taught practical strategies like keyword scanning and smart guessing, which helped me deal with long passages under time pressure. The advice was super realistic.

Situational Judgement – Aarish
Aarish used real-life examples and explained how to judge what’s appropriate in each situation. He linked everything back to the GMC guidelines and gave great ethical reasoning tips, along with some final useful core feedback at the end of the lesson.

Overall, this course made a huge difference in how I approach the UCAT. The tutors were knowledgeable, supportive, and really cared about helping us succeed.

Best course for UCAT....well worth every penny

It was a fantastic course to attend. It opened so many doors and answered so many questions I had in my mind about what I actually needed to know for the UCAT. The medical students were very supportive and helpful about the things we needed to know. The lessons were organised and swift. We covered more than we needed to in one lesson which was a very big help indeed. Never once did I feel embarrassed or ashamed of the things I didn't know. I never felt the need to complain or criticise about anything in the lessons. Thanks Genmedics!

My Son, Zayaan Ahmad, has been doing NextGen UCAT crash course and has attended 4 sessions so far (5th & 6th July and 12th & 13th July). He has given extremely positive feedback regarding overall structure, content and relevance of the course. He particularly liked the one to one communication with instant clarification of difficult topics. He feels both Tutors Aymen and Saffiya are well upto date, informative and with good understanding of the subject. He also liked the timed practice in verbal reasoning and decision making. He feels more confident and already noticing improvement in his mock practice tests. I strongly recommend NextGen for anyone preparing for UCAT.

Really enjoyed working with Maher on my Interview practice oft MMI and Panel. Maher gave constructive feedback, was able to tailor the MMI questions to each of my uni’s and was able to really help me with things such as role plays (angry patients etc). Would really recommend Maher for any of your interview practice!

The UCAT crash course was very insightful - I highly recommend. It was a great introduction on how to approach UCAT, they taught each section in lots of detail and also provided lots of tips and tricks. Lots of help was given for the more challenging and unique sections such as decision making and SJT. The tutors are very supportive and friendly, and always ensured that we understood the content, they made sure we were engaging and provided constructive feedback as well. They were also very responsive outside of sessions on WhatsApp, so it was easy to get support straight away.

Overall I am happy with the outcome of the UCAT Crash course and would definitely recommend it to others who would like a kickstart to their UCAT preparation.

Aarish, the Situational Judgement tutor, delivered insightful and engaging sessions, while Bilal, the Quantitative Reasoning tutor, explained complex concepts in a clear and approachable way. Both showed excellent knowledge of their areas.

Tutors were always accessible via WhatsApp, which made it easy to ask questions and get support outside of sessions. I highly recommend this course to anyone preparing for the UCAT.

It was a very good experience. The sessions were quite detailed and were very helpful especially with situational judgement which is a quite challenging section. I am overall pleased with the tutors as they were very helpful and I believe the crash course is worth it.

They did have some useful information for interviews. But it was stuff you can get online from places like medic portal or other general resources. They have a lot of student teachers who dont seem very experienced and seemed like they were just reading basic knowledge and facts from a script rather than having a thourough understanding and teaching how to answer well. I would not recommend this.
