I have three children who attended Excel Charter Academy. My oldest, who has recently graduated from High School, graduated valedictorian in his class. My 2nd son is currently attending East Kentwood High School and is ranked #1 in his class of 499 students. I believe that Excel Charter Academy has cultivated a solids foundation for future success in education.

I am impressed with the communication that the teachers have with parents. My kids' teachers tell me specific stories about my kids at conferences, they email me funny stories, and are upfront and calm about any discipline issues. The teachers care so much about my children; I feel safe about sending my kids to Excel.

Lucky to be apart of such a great environment.

Landmark Academy has been amazing. They have done a great job with my daughters. There has been an increase in their independence and committment to complete assignments. Also, the field trips and extra programs have opened my children's minds and their way of thinking.

Good school but not confident they will customize a learning plan for students who are advanced in some subjects.

Excel is a great school that helps the kids learn in the way that best helps them. The kids are pushed to challenge their learning. The school is open, friendly and welcoming. Parent involvementout is always welcomed in many ways throughout the school.

My daughter loves the school and we have had mostly positive experiences as parents. The students, parents, staff and curriculum are great! We had an issue with our daughter's teacher quitting after only a couple of weeks on the job, which led to a rough transition. Things seem to be better now in the classroom though. The homework is sometimes a little over kill and overbearing for a first grader. In my opinion, the school is what it is due to the strong support and the amount of involvement by the parents and community. Very happy with our choice so far!

Excel Charter academy, is an inclusive school that pushes children academically and nurtures their moral character. We are so happy.

Great experience at Landmark. Great teachers who are genuinely concerned and invested in the students. Positive learning environment and cutting edge teaching tools. Couldn't imagine having my son anywhere else.

This is our first year at this school and we love it!!!!!!

Middle school teaching staff is in dire need for more training in regards on how to interact/ understand/ empathize/ discipline tweens.

My son came into Kindergarten needing a speech therapist. They have a great one and he made his first big break through with that therapist! He's received extra help in reading an soon as he started falling behind. We are now in 2nd grade and I feel they go above and beyond to help my son succeed.

We have only been at this school for a few months, but we love it. The staff is great and things seem to run pretty smooth here,

Don't feel safe driving to and from school... The school needs to have more safety signs, signal anything that help promote safety!!! SAFETY should be the schools number one goal.

Have been at Excel for 2 years now and love the environment, teachers, principal, and office staff. Highly recommended.

Fantastic teachers, curriculum and I love the moral focus program.

The staff is wonderful but there is no money put in the school.

At Landmark the teachers,admin and students all work together to make a great learning environment

I highly recommend Excel Charter Academy & the National Heritage Academies school system. It has been a great experience for my 3 very different children. I've also been very impressed with how the school has supported children other than my own. Very solid investment in your child's growth.

I have been so impressed and happy with Landmark Academy. I have two kids there currently and my 3rd will be starting in the fall. The education is top notch! My children are thriving there and I have been so impressed with all of their teachers they have had. I would recommend Landmark to anyone!
