Nordur Travel Reviews 

We used Nordur Travel for the northern lights tour. It was a wonderful experience. We were picked up on time. Kel was our tour guide and he was FANTASTIC! He was knowledgable about the northern lights, was patient to wait for them to come out, took pictures of us with the lights, and even stopped after we saw the lights because he saw them dancing, and wanted us to experience it. It was a great trip!!

Hoy hemos hecho la excursión a la de Península de Snaefellsnes y es bastante larga, todo el día en ruta. Pero ha valido la pena, los paisajes y contrastes de esta isla son apabullantes, comimos en una granja de caballos y ha sido el día que mejor hemos comido, la comida casera y de calidad. Vimos los caballos tan especiales de Islandia y como no hacer referencia al guía y conductor, Ruge. El guía fue estupendo y nos enseñó muchas cosas, sin duda la más recomendable de las excursiones.

Abbiamo fatto un tour fuori Reykjavik (Thingvellir, cratere Kerid, Gulfoss, Geysir,ecc) con la guida Kel, veramente bravo, preciso, rispettoso, simpatico, comprensivo, e poi un bravissimo autista, ha guidato perfettamente ed il viaggio non ha pesato minimamente ! Anche se era nuvoloso/uggioso non ha influito sull'esito positivo della giornata.

We managed to see so many things in one day!
It was well planned and that gave us time to enjoy an area before moving on to the next one; from waterfalls, to guysers, hot springs, horses, and time to eat/shop if we wanted.
Kel was our tour guide and he was very kind, helping to point us in the right direction at each stop to be sure we made the most of it.

We did the Golden Circle, Secret Lagoon and Geyser’s tour with Nordic travel. Kel was great, very informative and gave us plenty of time to see the different places we went on the trip.

Lights amazing and the guide Kel excelent.

Although Kel was a lovely guide, the trip itself did not need to proceed thus full refunds could have been had . Yes the weather is unpredictable but it was very obvious that unless we travelled 6hrs to the other end of the country no visibility of the Aurora was to be possible. I did email before to see if it was to go ahead as I too do have access to weather conditions and it went ahead anyway, yes perhaps this review may have been different if we were to see the Aurora but you have to be realistic and know there was on this occasion no chance, nice touch cookies and Hot Chocolate
