Absolutely shocking
Had to pay for a full 8months of policy which they had cancelled because I had an issue with my bank
I received no communication via email phone call just a couple of texts
I was willing to remain with the company and settle the 4.99 but oh no !

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. You were paying your policy premium on a monthly basis, taking out Premium Finance to do so.
You defaulted on that agreement and we contacted you (by phone, email and SMS) on more than 10 occasions over 8 days to let you know of this.
As you did not make a payment your policy was cancelled and we emailed you confirmation of this. This left your account in default with an outstanding amount due. You say your email address contact changed, but you did not advise us of this. Our email tracking also shows these emails were received successfully.
Therefore the advice, information and process is correct. We hope this clarifies the points raised in your review.

Horrible. Their definitions of "accident" and "breakdown" are whimsical, do not trust that they'll honour your policy. And as for the customer service team at the claims management department, just wow. Rude, patronising and insulting. I cannot emphasis just how absolutely appalling their policy application is.
As for more info, you know exactly who I am because your agent has been haranguing me long after he was told in no uncertain terms to stop. His attitude immediately rubs people the wrong way so if you want positive reviews, don't let him deal with customers.
Regarding your response, you're still not presenting the truth. You've even tried to have my review removed and been told no!
The rest of the reviews here would tend to support my position.

Thank you for your review. The Policy says it does not cover accidents. "Accident - any collision or impact with another Vehicle, object or person, including potholes and roadside furniture, that renders the Vehicle Immobile or unsafe to drive". We mention potholes specifically to provide clarity.
You called for assistance after hitting a pothole and blowing 2 tyres. Something the Policy does not cover. This is something that has been confirmed with you and extracts of your call, confirming the circumstances, have been provided.
Whilst we appreciate you maybe unhappy with the claims outcome - it is correct.

I used go compare website. Glad I did because I found Nova Breakdown cover for 2 cars in my household at a good price! And unlimited call outs and no excess to pay!

I closed my bank account so direct…
I closed my bank account so direct debit was rejected. I contacted Nova via the chat and got hold of a very helpful man called Joel who understood what was needed. He linked me to where I needed to be and before we had even finished chatting my new policy was bought and paid for. Now back to Joel to say goodbye and thanks again.

Easy to set up.
Initially I was going to set up with the RAC, yet their website kept crashing and could not get through on the phone. With Nova direct it was so easy & maybe that is partly why they have a 5 star rating.
