Je suis désolée, je ne parle pas très bien anglais, mais je ne peux pas m'empêcher de partager mon expérience. Nova est une plateforme d'escrocs, en particulier Mr Joy Anderson avec qui j'ai travaillé l'année dernière. Ils m'ont imposé des frais à plusieurs reprises, soi-disant pour débloquer mes fonds sur la blockchain, mais je n'ai jamais rien reçu. C'était une arnaque du début à la fin. Je vous déconseille fortement d’avoir affaire à eux.

Either Nova was incapable to perform any basic due diligence or they intentionally convinced us to pay our savings to the big scammers in Liverpool. At the time when Nova misled us into investing with these scammers, the developers had multiple major stalled sites, millions due to investors and were under Serious Fraud Office investigation. The development company (an SPV) later went into liquidation and the funds we’ve received are NIL. Nova made us lose all our savings £50k. Now Nova plays innocence and refuses to take any responsibility for their actions. Nova lied about risks and they lied about their developer due diligence. It is hard to believe for a company in residential developments business to be naively not aware of the very large real-estate scammers in Liverpool. It's like doing business in Chicago in the 20s and claiming never heard of Al Capone. The scammers names were listed on Companies House against the SPV Nova made us pay all our savings into. Nova altered our life's welfare. These unscrupulous sellers should not be allowed to practice any business.

Update following Nova comments:
Do you want to listen to the recording of your Operations Manager Stefan Vadamootoo explaining Nova “robust selection process of developers”, and also stating that “going bankrupt is not going to happen for that developer”. Also, statements that your Chairman Paul Mahoney is versed with Liverpool real estate market as he travels there very often. These are deceiving statements and shows you are cowboys (again, keep going to Chicago in the 20’s and pretend never heard of Al Capone). Good comparison with any agent/broker recommending stocks: if proven the agent did not do any proper analysis (like Nova) and used deceiving statements such as “buy these stocks as they can never go to zero”, then people need to know about that agent as it is clearly a fraud.

Poor show - no clue - I am still with them - dont know how much longer I have to suffer - AVOID!!!!!!!
Unfortunately 1 is the lowest it can go.

My wife and I have been clients of Nova Financial for around four years ago, and our experience has been exceptional. Before meeting Nova, we had conversations with several property marketers and real estate agents, but it always felt like they were solely focused on making a sale. However, when we met the team at Nova, their deep property knowledge and professional approach truly impressed us.

As novice investors at the time, we were understandably nervous, especially considering the significant amount of money we were looking to invest. Stefan and Sam, the experts at Nova, were incredibly patient and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the intricacies of investing and genuinely tried to understand our goals and objectives. This personalised approach allowed them to create a personal strategy considering our comfort levels and reservations.

We decided to purchase seven properties across the UK, some of which were already complete, while others were offplan, all situated in prime central locations. Despite a minor delay in one of the projects, which was partly due to the impact of Covid, our overall experience has been overwhelmingly positive. Every property we invested in has been successfully tenanted without any vacancies, and the returns have surpassed Nova's initial forecasts regarding capital uplift and rental income.

Based on our successful journey so far, we are now eagerly exploring options to release the built-up equity and utilise additional rental funds to acquire more investments in the near future. Nova Financial has undoubtedly played a significant role in our achievements, providing valuable guidance, seamless support, and delivering results beyond our expectations.

We wholeheartedly recommend Nova Financial to anyone seeking a trustworthy and knowledgeable partner in their property investment journey. Dealing with Nova has been unsatisfactory resulting in causing stress to me.

I have had an extremely poor experience with NOVA. I got in touch with NOVA t see what sort of services they offered. It became clear that they specialise in "off plan" developments which I wasn't personally very interested in due to having to wait a long time to see a return and also due to the risks associated with putting money down and then the developer/development having issues and losing that money. That was my personal preference.

They informed me that they could source properties very near completion in order to mitigate both of my key issues stated above with "off plan" property.

They then recommended Mariners view in the Wirral. I agreed to purchase a unit in this development based on the fact that I was told this development was on line to complete in April 2022, which was 5 months from the time of reservation. I put down a £5000 reservation fee. Throughout many conversations with NOVA they stressed how thorough their due diligence was on developers and developments that they recommended to clients, only putting forward deals that they were very comfortable with. However, despite this so called thorough due diligence that they apparently did the site was still at ground level many months after the date is was supposed to be complete.

In my opinion I do not believe that the proper due diligence was taken regarding the time frame that was communicated to me. Any agent or company that had done the proper due diligence would have known that the site was nowhere near the stages required at the time of selling this unit to me for it to completed in 5 months time. I am fully aware that developers and sites run into unexpected delays, however, a simple site visit by NOVA would have shown them that the site was not 5 months from completion, like they told me it was. As the selling agent, they have a duty of care to ensure that what they are communicating to clients is true and likely. I do not believe this was this duty of care has been met and I do not believe that I was told the truth about the likely completion date.

My agent at NOVA was completely aware that I was not in the market for true "off plan" property (which can often take 1-2 years) and any units would need to be very near completion. It is my opinion and belief that the agent at NOVA was either dishonest with the dates communicated to me or neglectful in his duty of care.

I have put down a £5000 as a reservation deposit on this unit and I am now in the situation where I have been asking NOVA to retrieve that money for me based on the above situation. They have offered to sell me other units which they would honor the £5000 deposit, however, it is not my desire to deal with this company ever again based on my experience and therefore do not want to go down that route.

NOVA are now ignoring my emails requesting this £5000 back. I am now in the process of going though the financial ombudsman to try and retrieve this money from NOVA and I am also seeking legal advice and will ultimately have to drag this through a small claims court causing massive inconvenience.

Throughout the whole process communication was extremely poor from NOVA were I was left very much in the dark about what was going on with the development.

I have purchased through ERE properties with great success. Also, I have dealt with Residential Estates were I did have a similar issue with a development that I had to withdraw from, however they managed to retrieve the full deposit back for me from the developers, which seemed to indicate to me that they were an honest and fair company who had good relationships with the developers.

I would highly recommend avoiding NOVA Financial at all costs.

Ken fron Nova Financial has been fantastic, helped us massively througout the whole process of obtaining a specialist mortgage product for an investment property.

Over the last 4 long years I've been an investor in 2 properties which Nova advised on. The first properties developer went bust just after Covid. I've lost potentially 40k on that development after managing to get some 10k back through insurance.
The 2nd property has now also failed as I was unable to secure a mortgage 4 times, through no fault of my own (issues with the development!).

I tried to get help from Nova, including reaching out to the Managing Director who offered no support despite the amount I invested through their advice.
Considering they had close ties to the developers, and the fact I invested in TWO properties which both failed, I expected them to offer me some support since I've lost some £110k of my hard earned money which I can't afford to lose - But nothing at all.

I am livid and disappointed, and now needing to find legal advice as to next steps.

I would avoid investing with Nova. I'm not saying it's their fault these developments didn't work out, but the fact that they strongly recommend and persuade clients to invest in these properties, they have a certain amount of responsibility if these developments fail and I would have for sure expected a good level of support or assistance, rather than just nothing.

UPDATE:
I was contacted by Nova around 5 months ago and asked to remove my negative reviews. I was assured that they were launching an investigation to attempt to help the clients who had lost money.
After 5 months, I've had no communication. I've contacted and asked for any information and not getting any responses after 3 weeks of emails.
I am now launching my own investigation. If any other clients of Nova's want to help, please contact me (Olivier Cappitt - should be able to find me on the socials...!)

I feel I was duped into removing my comments on here in the promise they were working on my behalf, but it seems not..

WARNING!!!!!!! They advised me to invest in a dodgy property development which went bust. I would advise you to stay well away from this company.

While Nova Financial provides a solid and convincing sales pitch my experience with their investment recommendation has come with a significant cost. The Old Hall Street project by Signature Living ended up going into administration with investors being unable to recover their deposits for many years. The investment was presented as having minimal risk but I don’t believe sufficient due diligence was performed by Nova before making the recommendation. Be careful if considering them as there is no liability if things go wrong.

In the summer of 2021 I was in the position of making an investment in the property market.
After initially looking into the market my self, I inevitably began getting phone calls from agents etc. This made the process overwhelming; I had lots of options, and was getting inundated with daily calls, trying to persuade me with different properties.
I went to my investment savvy brother from some generic advice and he pointed me into the avenue of getting some paid impartial professional advice, thereafter it was he who found NOVA financial.
I sent an email and within a day I was contacted by there agent, Seid Ansari. I had my initial meeting, where I exchanged some basic details and in-turn the companies business expertise was explained. The next session was a detailed breakdown of my finances, job security, savings, my investment goals etc.
It was after this meeting that I was left assured that I NOVA had my best interest, financially.

Seid was invested in my financial endeavour, and they offered my the valuable service of looking at my options and assisting me to make an informed decision.

After I chose there service for the property they had recommended, I have continued to be impressed with their after sales service. They have assisted in the sale of the property, updated me with its development, and hopefully they will handle the rental side of things.

I would recommend there service for anyone in need of professional impartial financial advice.

I am not a disgruntled customer but having wasted atleast a couple of hours in the past 2 months, I am sure the interaction could have been a lot smoother. I am a current BTL landlord and not new to investing. In the first call, I was asked some personal financial situation related questions. Quite detailed. Being obviously uncomfortable revealing exact details to a person claiming to be from Nova, and rightly pointed out by him that it is an advisory process which will attempt to analyse my financial situation overall, I agreed to providing details about my past, present and future targets. I was surprised to see that without answering all their questions in some details, the process was not allowed to progress. I think it was still ok but I found it to be very pushy and unaccomodating. Final blow came on the day of the advisory meeting last week. I got the call from him to check if both me and my partner are going to be avaialble for the call, which obviously i was not prepared for, but i assured him that decision making is on me for this particular aspect and my wife will not like to be part of the advisory call. Now, I understand that having both partners on a sales pitch is good for the sale itself, but this is an advisory process (and hope not a sales pitch). There was never a mention that both partners are going to be mandatory for any advice. Its as if the rules were being made to suit and/or on the fly. I got a meeting cancellation email after a few minutes but before the advisory call. I feel I have had a few hours wasted but I am thankful that it is just that. Not sure If I can trust my money with a company that promotes pushing clients and leaving with a feeling of manipulation.
Edit: Paul M. was diligent in his followup about customer reviews. I appreciate that my experience was a one off, not necessarily judgement of the company. I do hope that the company follows Paul's leadership and skills. Paul was ready to make amends and offered me the promised advice, which I did not end up taking. But based on my interactions with him, I am upgrading my review rating from 2 to 4.

Had some good conversation with Karolina from nova financial. Karolina helped discuss some strategies I could adopt with in property investments and also recommend different professional like Tom who is a mortgage broker at NF.
