I use the old, "classic" version, and I appreciate that it's still available after the update. I also like that I can create forms for each patient that prefills their data on claims.

I initially started my business with paper files and office ally was an intuitive, clearinghouse for my billing. As my business grew I wanted a platform that reflected my ability to offer more for online intakes, clinical note storage, and rapid assistance. I made a change but made certain my clearinghouse remained office ally. They are seem less and the best I have utilized.

I’ve been with this company for 12 years and had consistently positive experiences, until about three years ago, when they overhauled their entire system. Since then, the quality has steadily declined. Logging in is often impossible or takes over 30 minutes, and repeated requests for help are met with generic advice like clearing cookies, which never resolves the issue.
They market themselves as a free service, but fail to disclose that most insurance companies they work with are out-of-network, leaving small practices like mine to pay up to $8 per claim. On top of that, they’ve raised rates without notice and charged for services I never authorized. It feels deceptive and exploitative.
After years of frustration, I’m done. I strongly urge others to reconsider using this platform. It’s been an awful experience and this company does not deserve your business.

Most every time today either I can't log in or it takes 25 minutes or more to get into the program. Also this is the third day within the last 2 months and office ally gives no discount, no credit, etc. With this kind of unwillingness to stand behind your product, I wouldn't recommend this EMR ever. Also when they don't like your diagnosis code, they hold the claims up for 3 months without informing the practice a reason

Our office nickname for this program was "Office Nemesis". Our company ran this program for about 6-7 months for our Nurse Practitioner and Dietician and had a terrible experience. It has a frustrating, outdated interface(several times their system went down and we couldn't access anything with clients there!) and an overly complicated process for even the simplest of tasks. Even just navigating the calendar, scheduling appointments, or having clients pay their bill is extremely tedious. There is a size limit on documents you can upload, which were never able to accept our simple intake forms. You cannot call them for support or training if you are struggling. The only training they offer are video seminars, which are held on their own timetable you have to schedule around. In the end these weren't even helpful and just wasted time. There are far sleeker, more modern programs out there that accomplish the same thing in half the time and without the constant headache.

Recently, I encountered a frustrating situation where my claims were repeatedly rejected, despite being correctly submitted. Office Ally took my concerns seriously, opened a support case, and within a few days, I received a resolution. Since then, my claims have been accepted without issue. That level of responsiveness and support is truly invaluable.
