OFX was recommended by a number of my good friends. Great service and FX pricing. The wire method is extremely quick while ACH is its normal 3-4 day turnaround. Conor in Toronto and Rachael in Sydney were friendly and work through the normal KYC and compliance processes with solid professional curtesy. I will use OFX again in the future.

Been with OFX since about 2016, mainly because of loyalty to an Australian company, have had some minor issues along the way, but all in all, never had a stress or a worry and always knew when a payment to a certain country would arrive and be on time. During the last week "problem" payment blocked!!!! Customer service didn't care the first and 2nd time. But.... Then I got transferred by Commercial (Who are excellent) to a consumer customer service person Danielle Cunningham (Irish Girl) in Toronto, Canada. Wow!!! what service and what a person who actually cares 100% about your issue. I have already sent a recommendation to her boss, but guys, this girl really cared and called back, unlike most companies. I still give OFX the 5 stars after this and have now recommended them to the companies I am consulting for. It really does matter when they don't call you back and don't care. I was about to abandon OFX was on hold again, and not recommend new business, then suddenly Danielle saved the day by calling me whilst I was on hold again for the umpteenth time. All credence to her in Toronto, Irish customer service wins the day. She knows :))) Transfer inter Europe UK-EU and UK-AU-EU.

It started with a bad experience with one of your client representative. I was about to close my account after opening it 3 days ago. I requested to speak to a manager . I spoke to Kait.Sobelman and this very bad experience turned into an amazing client service . Kait is very empathic , genuinely friendly . The exchange was so easy that I gave a chance to OFX . I am about to register my 3rd transfer . in 3 days . So well done Kait . I am one of the first Wise client , and i am now shifting to OFX .

I've used ofx successfully, for a few years. This time was no exception; the transfer from the uk to Mexico was flawless and its quick.

I have worked with OFX for years and have always been satisfied with the service that I have received. Their rates have been comparable to other companies so I know I am getting the best rates. Their online platform is easy to negotiate and does not take a lot of my time when I have to pay suppliers.
Everything was going smooth until last week where my beneficiaries didn't receive their payment and it showed as DONE in OFX. This happened with one of the transaction so I paid 3 more guys and none of them have received the amount yet. Again it shows Payment Done to beneficiary but it isn't. Probably not going to use it anymore. It also takes 4-5 business days to transfer the amount, while XOOM takes just few mins to transfer. Can't really rely on it honestly.

I’ve used their service to send funds to Australia for over 10 years and the experience is ALWAYS FANTASTIC. Quick, knowledgeable, good rates, etc., I could use their service online but I prefer actual contact via phone.
Highly recommended!
I am a new customer and cannot thank the OFX team enough for there patience and understanding with all my questions and total ignorance of everthing. Emails and phone call questions were returned promptly and they definitely put me at ease.

I called customer service multiple times, on hold indefinitely. Selected the 'we'll call you back' option multiple times, no call back. Tried the 'contact us by email' option, no reply. Absolutely zero customer service here - is someone seriously going to trust OFX with their money? Not me

Unfortunately, I can't give them a zero star. The worst service I have experienced. I was trying to send money but they put it on hold for 3 days, I requested to cancel the transaction but the money is not credited back yet.

July 07 Deal was Booked Confirmed
July 20 I received email that money transfer failed due to error in beneficiary name.
July 27 I received an email money was paid back to me in lesser amount.
You took 1,296.44 in my bank account on July 7. You return my money 1,222.02 July 27. Why it is less 74.42?
My money is with you for almost a month and nothing happen, good enough you use it in forex and earn from it. Returned my money less, what kind of business is this? Nothing happened you ruined my name to the recepient and paid interest because of delay in sending money.
I am very dissapointed. I will file a case and will post this in social media so other people will be aware of your SCAM business!!!

Highly not recommended. I made a transfer on Jun 14 and found out the swift code is incorrect on Jun 21. On Jun 24, a staff told me the bank is sending the fund back to them then they can make the transfer again. I gave them sometime to work on the transfer.
I called yesterday, the staff told me they still haven’t receive the money and need to investigate it. And I called again today, the staff has another version about the money, which is ‘the money is not sending back from the bank’.
Don’t know how long does it take for my recipient to receive the money. My bank does not support the currency so I chose to use ofx. Terrible experience. Do not make a transfer through this company. No one follow up or updates unless you call them. Not the first time making overseas transfer, never heard it will takes more than 2 weeks to recall and resend the money nowadays. Do not treat customer as a fool.

I made a transfer from Canada to USA, fund did not go through into recipient account although status showed "Sent' in OFX online account.
It took more than 15 days to get my money back after numerous emails and calls!
On top of that, I lost transaction fee around $30 USD for nothing.....

I would like to submit a formal complaint about my experience with OFX. On April 25 2022 I made a transfer and funds were removed from my account but by the beginning of June the recipient called stating they had not received the funds. I had not been contacted by OFX about any concerns or docs required so I sent an email and received no response. Next I called and was required to provide some additional documents which I did immediately on June 18th. I was told all the documents required were received and they were reviewing. As of today.. this transfer is still under review/in process after 2 months.. no communication and now I have a very unhappy recipient on the other end.
